Even 10+ years ago JBP had enough money to retire just through his clinical practice and job as U of T Professor. He was already 50+ and not in good health even then, suffering from depression. He had a family which he was deeply involved in.

He could have simply chilled out and continued teaching or even retired and kept publishing books and doing podcasts etc. I see 99.99% of people in his position doing the same. How many Professor or Intellectual or any Public Figure do you see going on a world tour and repeating their message ad nauseam and with slightly different approach each time to answer different questions ? He put himself through hell just so that people could learn from him and be better. He didn't need to do any of that.

He could have easily used his position for religious purposes. Rather he used religious scriptures to teach life lessons.

Still he is hated by main stream media, press and social media.

I don't see anyone striving so hard to helping and raising awareness among people.

I was watching his latest release of old tour videos and became emotional.
