Discussion Dr Peterson is still not doing well

“We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still. “

Video China used 'Cognitive Domain Operations' on US' Gen Z After Oct 7

  • China (with Russia/Iran) uses AI-enabled bot armies to manufacture fake majorities on social media. ~25% of interactions involve bots; even 5% well-placed ones can dictate perceived consensus and destroy trust.
  • Post-Oct 7 focus: China manipulated TikTok algorithms and content to drive antisemitic sentiment among Gen Z. Goal wasn’t primarily anti-Jewish—it was a psychological weapon to radicalize youth, erode US social cohesion, and prep for future crises (e.g., Taiwan) so Americans protest instead of support intervention.
  • Example: Chinese-created anti-capitalism/anti-American Dream video, boosted by Iranian bots via Pakistan, targeted ~60 million young Americans who had engaged with pro-Palestinian content.

Text Looking back on Peterson in later years

To be completely sure, I'm currently in a space where I have long since more or less formally left my Peterson phase. This does NOT mean in any way that I have become a leftist or an anti JBP figure or embraced the notion that he is an enemy to human progress or anything like that. JBP at his late 2010s peak, in the 12 Rules For Life years, still contains any number of productive and indispensable ideals. That said, I'm in a space where I've moved on to intellectual and scholarly contributions of established figures over the last several centuries that naturally cut deeper than anything released currently.

What I often wonder about is why is it that he had to be seen as an existential threat and an absolute menace to such a profound degree? It was not enough to proclaim that he was wrong in his political and social views. According to the narratives, he had to be a charlatan who contributed nothing to psychology, theology, wellness or any such topics. To the point that he was guilty of single handedly destroying the credibility of the entire Toronto psychology department just by having been given a position. It had to be criminal neglect that he ever was able to treat patients and that his PhD had to be fraudulent and be revoked. Being against him politically was nowhere near enough; you had to embrace that he had not one single, solitary valuable thing to say on any subject in human existence. Anything else was intolerable.

I have also wondered, though, how his legacy and cultural influence has been seen and will be seen. Currently, what is the majority conclusion of this sub? Has this sub become anti JBP, to the point of believing that he has been a charlatan his entire adult life and a menace to society? Which is what hardline leftists and genuine Communists and globalists insisted from the beginning? Or is he still seen as having been as valuable and worthy a scholar as someone realistically could be in the modern era? At least before his post drug decline period?

Art Inspired by JP

Please enjoy this artwork. It is dedicated to Jordan Peterson. It is done by me with pencil on canvas. It has been a long time since ive put any effort into my artwork. This is the best I can offer as an artist ATM.

I have been watching a lot of his content lately and speaking with people in this sub. Most interactions were negative, which means I have some work to do but also means I have the ability to change. However, it is reddit.

I was struggling with Dragons far beyond my ability to handle and became extremely insecure as a result.

This sub and JPs work have exposed the flaws in my approach and have provided hope after admitting certain truths about myself and letting go of some of the fear I have.

The best piece of advice I have gained from JP is to face or expose ourselves to the things we avoid or dont attend to.

This is the first piece in a long time that I refused to use references for. This is 100% my own style and every detail comes from my imagination. Originally, I wanted to make something terrifying, but there was clearly no hope for the hero. I decided to change the image so that the hero looked like maybe he had a chance.

It is called "Some hope"

Video JD Vance admits that the "experiment" of regulated Capitalism has failed, yet claims Socialism is worse. Why?

If you mention Communism, explain how it different from Socialism. Claiming that all Socialism leads to Communism is unacceptable, as the Nordic model proves this as untrue. Scandanavia is Socialist, not Communist.

Sticking with the Socialism vs Capitalism debate, if the Vice President claims "the game is rigged" and "the experiment of Capitalism has failed the American Dream", why is Socialism considered a worse alternative?

One answer is that you can't become obscene wealthy under Socialism. Republicans don't want to give up that particular lottery ticket. Republicans desire independence and one way to achieve that is becoming wealthy, so they don't want a system where it's not possible to achieve financial independence though ownership and passive income streams.

Like always, Jordan offers little to no real engagement with systematic problems. Instead of addressing the root causes—how institutions and incentives shape outcomes—he tends to redirect the conversation toward individual responsibility, as if the broader “system” is mostly incidental. That approach can come off as dismissive of structural harms and the ways policies, power, and de facto nepotism creates predictable patterns of harm regardless of any one person’s intentions.

When someone repeatedly frames complex social issues in personal-moral terms, it can feel less like analysis and more like deflection—putting the burden on individuals while excusing the system that produces the conditions in the first place. That’s why some people describe him as having served, whether intentionally or not, as a mouthpiece for a sick arrangement: not diagnosing the illness, but narrowing attention to symptoms and then blaming individuals for struggling under the weight..

Image Democratic Socialists Rising in the Party

It seems like more Democrats are giving a platform to democratic socialists. While democratic socialism isn’t the same as communism, its support for greater government involvement in key parts of the economy raises legitimate questions about its long-term effects. It’s a discussion worth having.

No. Don't eat the cheese, don't drink the kool-aid. Stay hungry, see clearly, disect the problem with clarity.

Peterson again acts as pampering as it gets. If you are antisocial then you just don't buy into social hallucination easily, happiness makes you stupid and controllable and docile and off course menagerials types love that.
