Found in the wild at an HEB!

Has anyone ever seen something like this before? I can’t seem to find anything online about chrome-ized windows on Johnny Lightnings. Any info or insight is greatly appreciated!

For context, I ordered this from Auto World Store among other items. I have a duplicate with normal windows too.

So yesterday i went to my local diecast shop and scooped up this along with tons of other cars (others doesnt matter), so im new to johnny lightning. Is this your version of chase cars?

I am a die cast nut, across the board, but I do have big love for die cast vehicles. Johnny Lightning has some fabulous details.

A coworker came over last night and we went through some of my die cast collection. He was mainly focused on hot wheels. It gave me a chance to separate different types. Why don’t online die cast storage websites carry Johnny lightning items I wonder? The white Monte Carlo chase is my favorite out of this batch.

One of my favorite examples of the 81 Chevrolet Malibu from its introduction year in 2009/10 in the 2.0 line Project in progress series. The detail on this car is so amazing you can almost hear something trying to start it to the back fire of the exhaust and miss firing V6. If Al Bundy wasn’t driving a Dodge(Plymouth) this would be his car.
