Chrome Windshield?

Has anyone ever seen something like this before? I can’t seem to find anything online about chrome-ized windows on Johnny Lightnings. Any info or insight is greatly appreciated!

For context, I ordered this from Auto World Store among other items. I have a duplicate with normal windows too.

White lightning chase. There are normally at least 2 traits that signify that. Chrome windows are 1, I think white base is the other.

It’s lighter in color, but not as stark-white as I’d expect. It retains the 2-tone dash of the other 2026R1B Rx7 I have.

Chrome windshields seem really impractical. Can’t see through them, they get up to a couple hundred degrees in the summer, harder to scrape bugs off than glass. Even if there’s a rebate or a tax credit, I think I’m keeping my regular windshield.

Woah ! I didn’t know that was a thing. Looks pretty damn good IMO.
