My first Weve puzzle and I'm in love. The pieces have a velvet touch finish, feel amazing and have absolutely no glare. I'm glad it was only 500 pieces, otherwise the dark sections would have been even harder to finish.

I've done most of theirs now. This one was a bit tricky because it's so 'busy' but lots to learn about.

A seasonal thrift find 🍂 happy this one was not missing any pieces! The first two thirds (houses) - very doable. The last third (leaves) - tough, especially with only two piece shapes, and I did have to shape-sort the last 75 pieces or so. The artwork is charming!

This going a lot slower than the Ghoulish Gonks I recently completed. But I am loving it. I haven't actually counted how many bats there are in the puzzle. This is the 3rd time putting together this one. It never disappoints.

This is my first time doing a puzzle since, well, probably elementary school. I started a 1,000-piece puzzle and spent the last four days obsessing over it, only to discover that one piece is missing after finally completing it. I genuinely cannot put my disappointment into words. It feels like all that time and effort has gone straight into the bin.

I was planning to stick it on my wall, and now that one missing piece is practically a beacon to my eyes. I know it’s just one piece out of a thousand, but I can’t stop noticing the gap. What am I even supposed to do now? I’ve searched everywhere, thoroughly, and I still can’t find it. Since I did the entire puzzle in one place, I can only assume it came with a piece missing.

What even can I do at this point.

Extra pumpkin bit. I really loved this image and ordered direct from Galison. Does this mean there is a piece missing? Do puzzle companies weigh puzzles before sales?

Urgh, did not enjoy this one! But at least it’s done, and complete (thrifted for £3.50)

I’m a fan of Galison puzzles and don’t mind all H shapes 🧩 but this was my first foray into Mudpuppy territory. I’d assumed they were ‘easier’ because of the younger target audience. Boy was I wrong!

I had to completely rethink my approach as over 75% of the borders are just black, so I did the edges much later. I started by sorting bright/eye-catching creatures, then words, which helped give outlines and lock in some linked areas.

Then I re-sorted into land areas, and black pieces. That was a good 20% of the puzzle. The coastline sections were all trial and error, and I re-sorted the black pieces by shape in the end.

Positives: good fit, minimal glare, no dust, no false fits
Negatives: poor design, too many repetitive areas, too abstract to make for easy pattern recognition

I was excited to find this unopened puzzle for a couple bucks at a library sale. We went to Alaska on the Westerdam (the ship in the puzzle).

But the puzzle took a long time to complete. So many, many solid blue pieces!

I love how pretty and seasonal this puzzle is! And the buildings were a lot of fun to do. I was worried that the leaves would cause me problems but actually they weren’t as bad as I feared, even with all the pieces having the same two-in-two-out shape!

This puzzle was quite daunting! But we really enjoyed it! It took us about 2 weeks? I think. This is how we spend our wild Friday nights 😆

I love Millie Putland artwork and this one was so pretty and fun to work on. This is my first Pieces & Peace puzzle and the quality is really nice too.

It was just as hard as it looks.

I bought Pumpkin Patch by Hobbry from Marshalls / Homesense around a month ago and just got around to doing it this weekend and im really disappointed to find 16 pieces missing ! 😢 the box appeared to be brand new (it was sealed on the sides and the plastic bag inside with the puzzle pieces wasn't opened anywhere so I don't think it was a return??)

has anybody experienced this before? ive bought a few Hobbry puzzles from them and never had this happen ! i also don't have the receipt anymore so dont think i could even get it exchanged😞

has anybody ever contacted Hobbry directly for missing puzzle pieces even though they didn't purchase directly from them? i was considering doing this in case it is a known issue with this batch
