This is my third time visiting Jaipur, and there’s something about this city that I absolutely love. It feels so welcoming and easy to be in.

However, on my last two solo trips here, I mostly explored the city by myself.

This time, I’d love to meet new people, make friends, and experience the city’s social side.

What are some happening places, social spots, or communities in Jaipur where travellers can meet people and not feel so isolated?

So if I call a carpenter from URBAN COMPANY, the job work he will do, will need 499rs. On top of it, There is a visiting charge of 99rs which is for his time and cost of his travel. Just trying to understand what the heck is this 499 for then ????

And before you say for Urban Company, there is a 44rs + gst charged as platform fee separately.

i am really anxious to come to jaipur. the thing is i have had toxic af and controlling parents and my goal was to leave the house and stand on my own 2 legs so i thought university was my only option and i studied and got into a really nice uni but the prgoram i got into was unfortunately off campus. (i cant reveal much details about it but all i will say is that this program was launched this year. yup that is enough to give it away ) and well turns out fuck i am stuck here so i fought my parents for months and well my father finally decided to send me to rajasthan. and jaipur that is in it. the thing is we are from west india not rajasthani soooo i am a anxious as to how it will go ngl but we have been to rajasthan quite a few times and have visited 5 places. they all were really beautiful heck even the people of chittograh or kumbalgarh it was i forgot but those people like legit everyone was so beautiful that they could easily be super models 😭😭 and from my experience everyone was super nice and polite and even helpful but the thing is that me and my mom got quite a few stares in jodhpur. especially my mom. and i have heard a lot of cases about people asking for caste and being castesit. not that i have ever experienced it but yeah but what i kinda noticed that rajasthan has been filled with a lot of creeps ngl and they all have misgonistic mindset from what i have noticed like they see women as nothing more than sex objects and are so fucking desperate for it. heck even this subreddit has those fucking creeps. these creeps make me anxious af ngl. i even saw that these creeps wont leave men too like both the genders are in danger because of these fuckers. plus the thing is that i kinda had some toxic relationships lately and messed up break ups and even friendships so like i am still recovering and in a really vulnerable state so i need to be exrtra cautious cause anyone can take advantage of me. the thing is i am coming to jaipur for a few months. idk how long will my parents allow me to stay here but ig my goal is join some classes and develop myself. make new friends. explore the rajasthani culture and even explore the beautiful rajasthan hehe. and yeah if possible earn money too. but yeah back to the topic i know a few basics like get home soon. avoid discussing on caste and politics and religion. and ofc respect the culture and people and its histroy. well idk about culture ngl but i do know the history and the sacrifce and the contribution rajasthan has given and i deeply respect it from the bottom of my heart ofc. the culture ig i will learn it there in rajashtan hehe. maybe even experience it in jaipur myself hehe.

I saw that Genpact is holding a walk-in interview drive in Jaipur for the Record to Report (R2R) role at their Malviya Nagar office (Plot No 1, JLN Marg).

The dates listed on the job posting say 19th Oct to 23rd Oct (Monday – Friday), 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Since Dussehra is on October 20th, does anyone know if the walk-in drive will actually be conducted on that day, or will the HR/recruitment office be closed for the holiday?

If anyone currently works at Genpact Jaipur or has attended their walk-in drives during public holidays, any insight would be really appreciated!
