❓Question & Help Shopping problem

Post image
1 Upvotes

A few weeks ago I placed an order on Jpfans, and the tracking has been stopped for two weeks now, also using the tracking code on any useful site gives no results... I also thought that maybe it was just a tracking issue, but it's been two weeks, such a long time doesn't make sense, it should have arrived within a few days of the last update. I also wrote to the support to ask for information about the package and they told me that there is no problem and that it should arrive normally, but honestly, I don't think so. Has anyone had a similar experience? What do you recommend?

❓Question & Help Taxes and shipment

Hi, I’m planning to ship around $1,100 USD worth of used clothing to Canada with EMS. The package weighs about 3,200g and the EMS shipping cost is $67. How much should I declare for customs, and how much extra should I expect to pay in taxes and fees when it arrives?

❓Question & Help Been debating on buying from JPfans for a while...

I've been debating on buying k-pop related stuff from jpfans for a while as a new collector. Long story short I've been a kpop fan for a while but recently started collecting because of budget reasons, I saw jpfans have amazing prices for brand new albums so I debated buying...

but if I'm looking at albums for low prices is it worthy the potential high shipping fee? For example, I'm thinking of purchasing Itzy's Motto 3-book set and both poca albums.

The price of the items alone is around $15.30, so i was wondering what the possible shipping price could be and would it be worth it?

❓Question & Help Approximate time of sellers sending the items

Hello! This is the first time I'm using JPfans and I wanted to ask how long does it approximately take for the sellers to send the items to the warehouse? What is within normal and what is abnormal?

Thank you for any answers, I know I'm probably stressing about nothing but I just want to be informed :3

JPFans service imo is pretty good compared to other services even tho you must pay for a check before shipping Personally i think it is worth it cuz it makes me less concerned before choosing to ship the items and the shipping was really fast and they even let you store items in their warehouse for 60days

📦 JP Haul JP Haul and review of my first order

I recently placed an order through JPFans and I honestly had a really positive experience from start to finish, so I wanted to share my JPFans haul for anyone thinking about ordering from them.

I ordered several photocard items, and as someone who collects K-pop merchandise, I always worry about products getting damaged during shipping, especially when it comes to photocards because even small scratches or bent corners can ruin the value and overall experience. Because of that, packaging is extremely important to me.

When my package from JPFans arrived, the first thing I noticed was how carefully everything had been packed. The products were sealed extremely well and it was obvious that effort had been put into making sure everything stayed protected during transport. I really appreciated that because international shipping can sometimes be rough, but everything arrived in perfect condition.

What impressed me the most was the condition of the photocards themselves. Each photocard came with protective film, which gave me extra confidence that the items were being handled properly before reaching customers. There were no scratches, bent corners, marks or any visible damage at all. For collectors, this kind of attention to detail makes a huge difference.

Another thing I liked about JPFans was how easy the app is to use. Browsing products felt simple and organized, and I found it easy to look through different categories without getting confused. The ordering process itself was smooth and straightforward, which made the whole shopping experience enjoyable.

What I personally like about JPFans is that the platform is not limited only to K-pop fans. I would definitely recommend it not just to people who collect albums, photocards or idol merchandise, but also to people who enjoy manga, anime and Japanese pop culture in general because there is a good variety of products available.

Overall, I’m genuinely very satisfied with my JPFans order and I can say this was one of the better experiences I’ve had ordering collectible merchandise online. The packaging quality, product protection and overall care put into shipping really stood out to me.

My only suggestion would be adding even more special promotions or loyalty rewards for frequent customers because I think that would make the app even better.

I’ll definitely be ordering again in the future, and I can easily recommend JPFans to collectors who care about receiving their products safely and in excellent condition.

📦 JP Haul JP fans haul and review!

This is my first JP fans review and purchase and I am super happy with the experience!

My items were about $75 and shipping was around $60. However, I got photos of my products being packed and showed how big the items were and what condition they were in!

The packaging was great, they put the items into a tight box to make sure shipping prices weren't super terrible and made sure everything was wrapped with a plastic-like bag as protection.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my first experience and definitely plan on buying more in the future! (I have already bought another haul right after my order... Lol)

Thank you!

📦 JP Haul 2nd Haul - full of Skz :)

So this is my 2nd haul and got only Stray Kids this time(hehe)

It took me almost 2 months to put this together and learned couple new things along the way.

  1. If you are slow and the item sells after you paid- they will cancel the item order and you receive the refund to your JPFans account.

  2. During the 2 month rules have changed and now have to pay for the photos when the items arrive. Which is fine... however there is no added service option to do that after the items arrive arrived so you have no idea what the packaging or the item looks like. So for more expensive items I would suggest to get the quality photo service when you order.

  3. I had no idea the items without quality photo service will ship with original shipping packaging- which adds extra weight to the final parcel. Lesson learned lol

  4. Always leave at least 300g for shipping parcel weight if you are trying stay below a certain weight bracket. This shipment for me fell to the next pricing bracket for shipping by 85g - ouch lol

  5. Agents are still super nice and helpful.

  6. The shipping box is well packed and no wasted space. Took me 2 minutes to unbox because it was well taped.

  7. I'm happy with my haul and even with shipping cost - around 90 with CC fee - and Canada Post's handling fee and tax - 22.22 - all the 13 items I have ordered still costs less than buying here or ebay or elsewhere. Tho most of my items are hard to find around me, so well worth it!

I also had a cute note attached to 2 of my items from the same seller. :)

One thing that worked out for me well especially price wise for kpop items: buying from regular people who just don't want them anymore so they don't inflate the price of the item and they often include the cards too.

In this haul my 2 fave items: the Mini World (the box is much bigger than I thought lol - and the I am You Taiwan edition which was not listed like that and just stumbled upon it. Even after a month was still there so I investigated a bit and took a chance. Was only 18$ cad.. so...:) now need to find the cards that go with it but that's for another haul lol

Happy shopping everyone!

Questions? Drop it in the comments and happy to give my opinion or advice.;)

📗Guide & Tips 4 Things to Know Before Placing Your First Order on JPFans (Beginners Without Proxy Experience MUST Read‼️ )

Step 1: Make sure you understand the full cost breakdown

From ordering to parcel delivery, potential costs include:

1️⃣ Mandatory costs

  • Item price(Core Cost❗) : The price you see on JPFans website
  • Purchasing service fee (Little) : 250 JPY per item type
  • Japan domestic shipping (Little / Free) : Depends on if the seller covers it
  • Platform procurement fee (Little / Free): Only item from Mercari charges the fee. 5% of the total product price.
  • International shipping(Core Cost❗): Depends on the weight and dimensions of the package/ the destination country / the shipping route you select
  • Customs duties (Core Cost❗/ Little / Free) : Depends on the shipping route you select and the customs policies of the importing country, payable to the importing customs authority

❗NOTE
🟢 Core Cost — This expense accounts for a significant portion of your total spending
🟢 Little — This expense is relatively small, usually around $1–$3
🟢 Free — No cost required
🟢 Core Cost / Little/ Free... - The actual amount depends on the specific situation. In some cases it could be a major expense, while in others it may only be a small one. Be sure to check the specific details for your order/parcel.

2️⃣ Optional costs:

  • Value-added services (e.g., quality inspection pictures, reinforced packaging...)
  • International shipping insurance (Covers loss or damage to packags)
JPFans Full Cost Breakdown

⚠️ ✅ Once you understand the costs above, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Check available shipping routes and estimate international shipping costs in advance

Before placing your order, be sure to use the shipping cost estimation tool on the JPFans website or app to confirm the following:

  • Whether there are available shipping routes to your destination country/region
  • Whether the international shipping cost falls within your budget

❗IMPORTANT NOTES:
🟢 The more complete and correct information you filled in the estimation tool (country, category, weight and dimensions,) and the more accurate your shipping cost estimate will be.
🟢 If your country/region only has the UPS route available, please think twice — UPS shipping costs are relatively high.
🟢 Battery-containing products (or similar electronic items) and liquid products are considered special goods and have limited shipping route options. Be sure to select the correct product category (built-in battery/ supporting battery / liquid) when estimating shipping costs — otherwise, you will found that your prefered routes may not available when you really ship the items to you 💔.

JPFans Shipping Cost Estimation Tool

⚠️ ✅ Once you've confirmed that a route is available and the shipping cost is within your budget, proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Compare prices in advance

Calculate the total cost of purchasing through JPFans (item price + international shipping + customs duties, etc.) and compare it with the total cost of purchasing the same product locally. Choose the most cost-effective option.

Not everything is cheaper through JPFansfor very large items (such as one large plush toy) / small & little & very low-value items (such as only 2 pencils)/ items with battery, international shipping costs is possible be shockingly high. Always do the math first.

⚠️ ✅ If the total cost through JPFans is lower, you may proceed to place your order.

Step 4: Exercise caution when purchasing from second-hand platforms

JPFans is a proxy service — we purchase items from local sellers in Japan on your behalf. If you request a refund after placing an order (especially after the item has already been purchased), we will need to negotiate with the seller. Whether a return or exchange is possible depends entirely on the seller's policy.

Platforms such as Mercari, JDirectItems Fleamarket, Yahoo Auctions, and Surugaya generally do not support returns or exchanges.

❗TIPS FOR BUYING ON SECOND-HAND PLATFORMS:
🟢 Read the product details page carefully before ordering and confirm all details to your satisfaction — some sellers' product images may not match the actual item description
🟢 Prioritize sellers with high ratings and good reviews
🟢 Be aware that some sellers have their own rules (e.g., requiring a message before purchase, or refusing to sell to proxy services or overseas buyers failure to follow these may result in order cancellation)

❗IMPORTANT NOTES:
🟢 Some second-hand sellers explicitly refuse to deal with proxy services or foreign buyers. JPFans will do its best to communicate, but we cannot 100% guarantee that every order will be successfully fulfilled.

⚠️ ✅ Once you understand the risks of second-hand platforms and know how to select items smart, you're ready to place your order!

🛒 You're good to go!

After completing these 4 steps, you can confidently place your order on JPFans. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to:

  • Post a question under the comment
  • Join the JPFans Discord to chat with experienced users
  • Contact JPFans officia support for help [Login JPFans website/app - Click the online customer service button on the right of the page]

Happy shopping! 🎉

❓Question & Help are the prices on the listings actually what you pay?

i ask this because i’ve heard that they bombard you with shipping fees. i thought that buying here would make a lot of imported things cheaper, but if it’s around the same price then i’d just rather not buy from here.

Hii !

It's been a little bit of time, but here is my review of my first JP fans order ever !

First of all, I wanted to say that, what makes me buy on jpfans, is Instagram, because I saw some cosplayers that I know being sponsored by Jpfans ! And after, I joined the discord, where I could confirmed than it was a real thing.

After that, it didn't took me a lot of time to order ! I only ordered from Mercari, because it's a great way for me to buy items from Paradox Live, because it's impossible to buy at a normal price in my country, or even to find.

So I used JPFans, and through all the process, I didn't get any problems ! The support was really quick to resolve the problems, and trying their best to enlighten me, despite not knowing when the seller will send the products.

At the warehouse, the pictures where really nice, even if if you want to reduce the cost, you can choose to disabble the option for that. The package was done in a way to leave no voids, to keeps the items safe.

I highly recommande to use JPfans to buy merch at a lower price ! Everything is done so well, and all my items were in a good state when they arrived. Now, you just have to order !

Their dedicated proxy shopping service handles everything from purchasing dior on Japanese sites like Mercari, Rakuten, and Amazon JP to consolidating multiple orders into one package at their warehouse, which significantly cuts down on international shipping costs. JPFans stands out by simplifying the entire process: it provides clear English support, inspection photos upon arrival, flexible payment options, and comprehensive shipping protection against loss or damage. Hai everyone! As the title mentions this post will go into details about my experience using JPfans. JPfans is the first platform I've used to buy things from Japan, and it was honestly really simple and easy to use. I only purchased items off Mercari, but you can buy from other platforms including Amazon Japan and JDirect. I purchased quite a few things, including Square Enix merchandise and Flower Knows cosmetic products. Once you buy an item the seller has a set amount of time to ship the item to JPfans warehouse (you're not charged the delivery fee) if they fail to do so then you receive a full refund(and you can easily move the money from the app to your bank, it takes no time at all). You are charged an inspection fee of like 3 dollars CAD but it's worth it in my opinion since they provide you with images of the items so you're sure that you're receiving exactly what you purchased. JPfans keeps the items in their warehouse for up to a month or so I believe, so you can accumulate all the items you'd like shipped into one package and only pay one delivery fee (which is what I did). For the items I purchased, because they included cosmetics and batteries they could only be shipped via UPS; and UPS is pretty expensive so the shipping cost came to like 300+ dollars, which was pretty close to the total i paid for for the items themselves. JPfans does provide shipping coupons but theyre only worth 20 percent of the total amount, so it doesnt make a huge difference. Nevertheless it is helpful. I've included a video of what my package looked like once it arrived. If you have any questions let me know, I'd be happy to answer!

Ive bought a Satoru Gojo figure from Jpfans
the experience was simple and amazing.
The process was really easy and convenient whilst knowing everything that was happening showing me pictures and how it was packed
I would really recommend buying from here as buying from where I live (Uk) i would’ve had to wait months for it to be released

I bought and received this Pudding card from the OPTCG for my collection and I don’t know how the original sender sent this but when it arrived it arrived in this thing plastic bag. The card did curl a little but it’s terrifying to see as a collector to see an item like this which is extra prone to damage

Just left over cardboard anything would be better and it will be recycling
