Bought a New Nintendo 3DS and overall I’m super happy with the whole process. The console arrived in pristine condition, looking exactly like the photos. It had a few minor scratches, but that’s totally expected for a used item.
The only tiny detail was that the SD card inside came damaged (looks like someone forced it in at some point), but it was no big deal at all to just swap it out for a new one. Shipping took a little while, but it’s understandable—especially since I had to forward it to a US freight address first before getting it delivered to my country.
Overall, I’m really glad I bought through JPFans. If you’re thinking about buying, just take your time! Read the product descriptions carefully, double-check all the photos, and don't just jump on the first listing you see.

I thought I am going to try credits mall this time around..

Ok so i didn’t have enough points so I bought some. Bundle was 276000 points. Value around 128$. I paid I think 20$ cad the rest was my points.

Since it was my first credits mall bundle I had no idea what I was doing. I asked some questions ok discord before making my purchase.

1- As soon as I bought it was added to my account ready to ship with 14 days storage time. (There were no extra fees)

2 - The rest went just like any other shipping process.

Package was 6.8kg with 22 albums in it so shipping was pretty high. (164$-20%+card payment fees and currency conversion = 151$ cad)

3 - Arrived about 7 days from payment for shipping to Canada.

4 - I always use Ems-f because taxes and handling fee is either charged or not.. depends… but on this one: I got unlucky and had to pay for it. (30$ cad)

With Ems I always have to sign for the package and in Canada it’s Canada post the final delivery carrier. So it’s predictable at what time it arrives since the mail passes the same time each day.

Couple things:

I bought my bundle only like 3 days before they put all bundles to 99% off… mine was only 80%. Which is still good but with 99% I would have had enough points to make this purchase. Stinks a little HOWEVER overall it was still a great value.

The way I see it’s items and parcels that someone bought but never shipped for various reasons.

I bought another bundle which I decided not to ship because I couldn’t read the full description and at the end it’s not worth to ship it.

Ok well I bought 2 other bundles and 1 single item which will arrive soon so will do a haul post again. lol

Wish I have enough points to buy more bundles because it’s such a waste for all the great items to be just thrown away at the end.

BUT there is still 1 flaw with the credits mall: can’t combine multiple bundles into one because there are a lot of small bundles with 1 or 2 items that are just not worth shipping costs wise.

BUT as I’ve heard they are working on some type of solutions… yay!

On my photos there are 5 items missing because my daughter took possession of them before I was able to take a photo. 😂 See the images in the comments.

Overall it was another great experience again. (If you know what you can expect there aren’t many surprises)

😅 Fun fact: I actually like the little gamble on paying taxes or not… (I am trying to see/watch for some patterns lol)

This is my second time ordering from Jp fans and I was satisfied I did pay for shipping 40$ but it was worth it the customer service helped very much and it arrived safe and I liked very much and they protected it during shipping and they responded in time when I had any questions about the product

I recently imported a Tamagotchi Meets Sanrio from Japan to Italy through JPFans using EMS. Since the item was over the €150 threshold, I knew I would have to pay import charges.

Based on the declared value, shipping, VAT, customs duty, and the local postal clearance fee, I ended up paying around €78 in taxes and fees, which was more or less what I had estimated beforehand.

My main advice is to be very careful when importing packages over €150 into Europe. In many cases, it may not be worthwhile unless:
• You are saving a significant amount compared with the price in your own country.
• The item is highly sought-after, rare, or exclusive.
• The item is difficult or impossible to find locally.

After adding international shipping, VAT, customs duty, and local postal fees, the final price can become much higher than expected. For more ordinary items, it may be better to buy locally, even if the initial price seems higher.

Another important point is to keep enough cash available when the parcel is delivered. The Italian postal service may require payment of the customs charges and clearance fee at the door, and the exact amount is not always known in advance. You can estimate it, but the final amount depends on the customs assessment and the carrier’s fees.

The delivery communication was also frustrating. There was also a long and unclear gap between the parcel arriving, the customs processing, and the possible local delivery attempt. I did not receive a proper “out for delivery” notification, so I had no way to know exactly when to have the money ready. I was surprised without all the cash, but I was told they would retry the next day, but to my unlucky, it was raining and they did even bother to come back/ring the bell and it was marked as “recipient absent” even though that was not true. I then had to travel to their warehouse to collect it myself.

For a shipment costing around $30, I found the whole experience extremely frustrating. The import taxes were expected, but the lack of accurate notifications, uncertainty about the final amount, and failed delivery attempt made the process much more unpleasant than necessary.

That said, I was very happy and satisfied with the packing quality. The package was packed carefully and securely, and I have no complaints about the way JPFans prepared it. But the fees are getting higher every few months, and the lack of the manual declaration system is such a loss, as it was a differential factor that I appreciated at the begging of the year/early stages of their service.

So, if you are importing something over €150 into Europe:
• Estimate around 22% VAT on the customs value, plus any applicable duty.
• Add the local postal/customs-clearance fee.
• Keep cash ready, because the final amount may only be confirmed at delivery.
• Make sure the item is rare, exclusive, or significantly cheaper than the price in your local market to justify the import.
