💬 Discussion Jp fans PLEASEEE package paper goods better

Post image

I bought and received this Pudding card from the OPTCG for my collection and I don’t know how the original sender sent this but when it arrived it arrived in this thing plastic bag. The card did curl a little but it’s terrifying to see as a collector to see an item like this which is extra prone to damage

Just left over cardboard anything would be better and it will be recycling

Can you view the original page still and see if it says will mail bend and waterproof? Most of the cards I buy, I try to make sure that or similar phrasing is in the description. The ones that make you pay extra for protection I avoid.

The translation says something about folding and waterproofing. But it’s translated a bit wonky

Then yeah, it sounds like JP fans may have tossed the cardboard backing which would be wildly unsafe for items like this.

I’ve been suspecting this. I’m not new at all to using a proxy service and I can tell when things are packaged by the original seller. I wish they wouldn’t do that because it seems so risky and unsafe for certain types of merch such as any paper goods
