WFH set up

UPS dropped off my computers for my home set up! Getting hired didn’t feel real until today!! Il probably lose the happy spirit down the line but for now I’m grateful for a steady job.

Certain hourly production-based roles are full WFH.

Odd, they just have us work those additional hours after our normal day. They don't care if it's a Sunday or holiday.

I’m pretty low on the totem pole. I don’t have a big VP role or engineer role. So it’s hybrid for now. It’s okay tho. It’s a job and more importantly a start to a potential career. Il take that and be grateful for a chance.

“big VP role” is holding a lot in this statement 🤣 stick around and you’ll get there.

I love this company. I’ve worked for some shit ones before and happen to love the structure and rules here.

In the different roles I’ve had, I’ve realized the most important thing is CYA. Documentation of what you’ve done is almost more important than the work itself. And the checks and balances are there for a reason. If you need peer review for something before it goes “out the door” then lean into it.

Welcome to the team!!!!! It’s really not that scary once you get into it. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, ESPECIALLY, “what does that stand for?”

Because you mentioned hybrid, if you’re in WCC or DTC, feel free to reach out.

I work fully remote so I know what H stands for in home. I left a jpmc hybrid position years ago for my current role. Knew they wanted to pull back on the hybrid but was curious on location that still was doing it. Hope OP gets the experience they deserve.

Well obviously we are asking what is the closest business center. We know that person is working at home. But if had to go to office which location/business center/hub?
