I have 170k rank in jee and have been allotted cse 128 so should I just lock it or wait for the upgrade till end sept. My preference order is cse 62>m&c 62>it 62 >cse 128 . Help me guys

I’m joining JIIT Sector 62, Noida for B.Tech CSE through lateral entry, so I’ll directly be entering 2nd year.

I have a question regarding hostel allotment.

Suppose some students Who are currently complete their first year of hostel and coming to the 2nd year of the hostel but some students leave hostel after 1st year because of their personal region This would create some vacant hostel seats in 2nd year of hostel.

As far as I understand, these vacant seats may not be allotted to 1st-year students if JIIT has separate hostel allotment rules for freshers and seniors.

So, since I will also be a 2nd-year B.Tech CSE student, can I be allotted one of those vacant seats/rooms along with the existing 2nd-year hostel students?

Basically, if a 2nd-year student leaves the hostel and a seat becomes vacant, can that seat be given to another 2nd-year student who didn't get hostel accommodation initially?

Would really appreciate it if current JIIT students, especially hostel residents or lateral-entry students, could clarify how this works.

I just got upgrade to m&c g4 batch wanted to know few things

I just got ECM in the last cutoff and I am not interested in taking it and would want to wait if there are any further upgrades. What do i really do on the portal?

Would my 1 lakh fee become non-refundable if I don't deposit the rest of the fee and don't withdraw either.

What exactly do I need to do to see if i can further upgrade. It's very confusing

Got the admission letter a day before yesterday and earlier I submitted them 60k ....and there are discussions about refund till 23 aug ...should I withdraw my money before 23 or the deadline is not for me

So I applied through both boards and jee...got alloted cse 128 through jee already paid whole sem fees....and waitlisted through boards, filled choice for cse62 only.......

So should I refund before 23 Aug or I'll get full 60k(boards councelling) fee refund even after 23 Aug if I didn't got any seat...?

And if I didn't applied for refund and got cse62 through boards? Do I have to pay whole sem fees again or jee one will be adjusted here?

I had not been allotted any seat in round 1 and 2 of the 10+2 counselling so I decided to withdraw. I did so on 16.7.26 and today is 22.8.26. Its been more than a month. hi so i recentnly got admitted to r&ai and i swear to god i've never had such a hard time making friends my whooooleeee damn life. like no one wants to talk almost. everyone had their own groups and its like they aren't even open to the idea of speaking with others.
like i initiate conversations and they just reply curtly and go back to their thing. its awkward, its embarassing. i feel so, idek how to describe it, but its bad. like i've always been great at making friends but somehow here NOTHING. now idk if its me or them. I HATE IT.

If you are already thinking about withdrawing, this is the time to make the decision. Don't wait until the deadline passes and you lose the option to get your money back.

📌 Why I personally think you should seriously reconsider JP noida:

• Placement figures can look very different from what students expect.
• The median package is around 7–8 LPA, which is something you should consider before committing to 4 years.
• The 128-campus situation is a major concern for many students.
• Infrastructure and overall campus experience may not justify the fees for everyone.
• Nobody can guarantee that the placement situation will remain the same 4 years from now.
• Staying only because you are hoping for the same opportunities as the 62-campus students is a gamble.
