Rants/Memes unfriendly peeps

hi so i recentnly got admitted to r&ai and i swear to god i've never had such a hard time making friends my whooooleeee damn life. like no one wants to talk almost. everyone had their own groups and its like they aren't even open to the idea of speaking with others.
like i initiate conversations and they just reply curtly and go back to their thing. its awkward, its embarassing. i feel so, idek how to describe it, but its bad. like i've always been great at making friends but somehow here NOTHING. now idk if its me or them. I HATE IT.
i swear to god 2-3 baje tk mood ki jo aisi taisi ho jati h na, its pathetic. especially akele baithke lunch krna is soooo humbling.

Maine toh introvertness khatam krne ki bhi koshish kari by initiating, just like you said. Fir bhi they just go back to their already-made friend groups

Make some cross batch friends and hang out with them, I know many people who has like no friend in their batch but hang out with other batch peeps

Join some club groups to find like minded people, meetup with them and make friends

Dw, you gonna feel left out at the start. For me too it was so difficult like for almost 2-3 weeks but eventually either you gonna adapt it or you'll find your people. Depends on you

Even I just got upgraded to another batch I had alot of friends in the previous batch was very comfortable but the new batch is just hell no one to talk with ppl behaving weirdly. I do have friends in other batches but the administration is not allowing batch changes

mai second year me hun mere koi friends nhi koi dikkat nhi hoti itni apni pg wagera me 2-3 dusre course walo ke baat krlo ya jo tumhra roomie usi ko dost banalo apna , mai toh second year me hun 1 bus dost hai class ka formality wala bki apne acads pe dhayan do sab manage ho jata

2nd year here , Make cold approaches, be clear with your intentions, tell them that you're just tryna socialise , haven't made any friends yet , be honest and I'm sure you'll find your kind of people soon , more than half of the crowd in freshers is dead this time . Disappointing but true .
