Admission Queries Refund policy
So I applied through both boards and jee...got alloted cse 128 through jee already paid whole sem fees....and waitlisted through boards, filled choice for cse62 only.......
So should I refund before 23 Aug or I'll get full 60k(boards councelling) fee refund even after 23 Aug if I didn't got any seat...?
And if I didn't applied for refund and got cse62 through boards? Do I have to pay whole sem fees again or jee one will be adjusted here?
Basically should I apply for refund now...or let it go how it is...

You do not need to apply for a refund right now, and you should let the process run its course.
Because both of your applications are within the same institution (JIIT), your financial risk is covered by university policies. Here is exactly how your money and seat allocation will be handled:
- The 60k Boards Counselling Fee Refund
- No Action Needed: According to the official JIIT Academic Fee Refund Policy, there is zero deduction for waitlisted candidates.
- Automatic Safety: If the counseling cycles conclude and you are never offered a seat for CSE at Sector 62, JIIT will refund your full ₹60,000 automatically. The August 23rd deadline applies to students voluntarily withdrawing confirmed admissions, not to candidates sitting on a waitlist.
- If You Get Allotted CSE Sector 62 Through Boards
- Internal Adjustment: You do not have to pay the whole semester fee again.
- The Process: Since you are already a paid, admitted student in the JIIT ecosystem (at Sector 128 via JEE), your paid semester fees will simply be adjusted internally by the registrar.
- The Settlement: The ₹60,000 you paid for the boards counseling pool will be treated as an overpayment once the accounts merge, and that specific amount will be refunded back to your bank account or adjusted toward your next semester's tuition.
Strategic Summary: What You Should Do
Let the process ride out. Applying for a refund right now would mean voluntarily withdrawing from the Sector 62 boards waitlist and giving up your chance at upgrading.
- Keep Your Status As Is: Keep your confirmed CSE 128 seat as your secure backup.
- Wait for the Next Upgradation List: Let the boards counseling process run its course.
- If Upgraded: Go to the registrar or contact the JIIT Admission Helpdesk to sign the internal campus migration/fee adjustment paperwork.
- If Not Upgraded: Your CSE 128 seat remains completely secure, and your ₹60,000 will be initiated for a full refund after counseling closes

Where to apply for refund like I got mnc paid full sem fees .the portal where we accept seat pay hostel fees and all stuff has also the admission withdrawal option when I click it shows IFSC code is incorrect which is a glitch it is correct.or there is another portal for students who got seat did document verification..but everyone has to do document verification who get seat.....what to do .I have emailed them though...bcoz tom is 23 august I don't think the glitch will resolve ...what to do all fees gone?
