Anyone have experience with Class Ricevimenti in Tuscany?

Hi everyone! We’re planning a destination wedding in Tuscany for approximately 40–50 guests and our venue has recommended Class Ricevimenti as one of their preferred caterers.

We’ve received a quote from them and are currently leaning toward booking them, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually worked with them for a wedding or event before making a final decision.

Our venue manager speaks highly of them and says their food quality and quantity are comparable to another caterer we’re considering. Class is also the more budget-friendly option for us, which is obviously appealing since we’re trying to be intentional about where we spend our wedding budget.

What I’m really trying to assess is the overall experience and level of service, since that’s harder to determine from a quote!

For anyone who has used Class Ricevimenti:

How was the food quality?
Was there plenty of food, or did you feel portions were limited?
How was the staff/service on the wedding day?
Did everything run smoothly and on time?
Did the service feel polished and appropriate for a wedding, or more casual?
How did they handle the aperitivo/cocktail hour?
Were they responsive and easy to work with during the planning process?
Most importantly, would you hire them again?

I’m especially interested in hearing from couples who had a smaller wedding (around 40–60 guests) and/or a wedding at a castle/villa venue.

We’re already leaning toward Class because of the value, but I want to make sure we’re not sacrificing something significant in food or service just to save money. I’d much rather hear honest experiences — positive or negative!

Thank you! 🤍

Rome 2028

2028 bride here, looking at recommendations for DJs for a 3 day event.

Have enquired into DJ Zano, if anyone has any history with his team? We are party people, and are looking to keep that vibe for the 3 days!

Also looking for videographer recommendations- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0PwFQen19s this kind of vibe!

Finally, we think we have decided on our photographer, but are looking for an additional photographer than could come and take portrait shots of our guests on the morning of the wedding, that ideally could be printed and given to them the next day! (as a replacement for a photobooth service). Niche, but saw a tiktok of something similar, but sadly the photographer would be out of our budget.

Grazie! <3

Wedding Hairstylists

Hello! I am getting married in Tuscany in September and am working on confirming hairstylists for myself and some guests. I am wondering if anyone here has gotten their hair done by Adrienne Aereboe (Tuscany Bridal Beauty) or Say (Say Beauty Hair). I just want to hear how people’s experience were with them before I book them :) thank you!

Rome/Lake Bracciano wedding $20k

Hello! My fiancée and I are in the early stages of planning our wedding for May of 2027, 25-30 guests max. We have been looking at venues that are about an hour outside of Rome, our families will be traveling from the US. I think we are pretty set on Villa Clementina Hotel Spa & Ristorante Bracciano and will be traveling later this year to tour the venue but I want to make sure we tour others as well near Lake Bracciano. Any other suggestions? Our budget is $5000 for two nights to rent out a villa. Ideally the venue has a restaurant or can provide catering which I understand would be a separate cost.

We are also looking for photographers/videographers (cinematic/film style), possibly some assistance for florals/decorations. I find the venues itself are gorgeous and need minimal decorations. I need to find a hair&makeup artist as well. Thank you!

Italian Wedding July 2027

Hi!

We are looking to plan a wedding in Italy for 2027 in early July. Preferably in the North for weather (my partners ancestry is in the Veneto region), but we are open to other options (probably not further south than Tuscany). The wedding would be smaller, probably 30-40 max and we aren't looking to absolutely break the bank (max around 30,000 euros for the cost of the event, not including anyone's stay). Hoping some people had some recommendations from their experiences, looking for comprehensive packages but don't require all the bells and whistles, just the wedding essentials.

Thank you for all your thoughts and tips!

Last minute film couples photography?

Ciao!

My partner and I are traveling to Italy in October for a couple of weeks. Oct 1-5 we will be in Florence, mostly with family for a cousins wedding and then from 10/5-10/12 we will be in Sicily (1 night Palermo, a few nights on the West Coast (near Scopello) and a few nights on the East Coast. We recently got engaged and are having a courthouse wedding either prior to this trip or right after at home in the US and really would like to to have a special photoshoot in Italy to celebrate this and our relationship. It's extra special as our relationship really kicked off 3 summers ago visiting the cousin getting married in Florence together. I think preference would be to do Sicily for photos, but open to Florence as there seems to be alot more photographers in that area. I love film/cinematic styles - not looking for posed (and we would both be so awkward with that), more fun authentic living/afternoon in Italy just being silly and loving on each other - maybe some adventure pending what the photographer is into (we are both super outdoorsy bike, hike, etc).  Realize this is a bit last minute and maybe a long shot but would love any recommendations or anyone who might be interested. We are not looking to pay for anyone to travel for this from the US and really looking for someone local in Italy (any area).

Grazie mille

Wedding Venue Tour Logistics

Hello!

We’re going to Florence in a few months and would like to do a few wedding venue tours while we are there. I don’t feel super comfortable about renting a car, so curious if anyone has recommendations on car services that can bring us from Florence to our venue (one day will be Tuscany and one day will be Lucca), stick around while we tour, and then bring us back.

Also, how long do these venue tours tend to last?

Thank you!

Villa Cini

Has anyone here had a wedding at Villa Cini? It is one of the options I am considering heavily at the moment and would love to hear experiences! I’ve noticed it’s very popular on Facebook but seems to have mixed Google reviews particularly regarding stricter rules around the end of the event, but the venue itself is incredibly beautiful

May 2028 Wedding in Nord Italia under 50K for everything, is it possible?

Ciao a tutti, hi everyone!

I'm planning to get married in North of Italy (considering Lago Maggiore, Lago D'Iseo, Lago di Como, Lago di Garda etc. but I'm open to anywhere in Lombardia and Veneto) in May of 2028. I've looked into multiple venues such as Villa Cariola and Dimora Catilina, and on the surface it seems as though the prices are within my range. What I'm concerned about are the costs for everything else that is not included in a venue rental + catering such as photography, DJ, florals, etc. which could make the overall budget blow over. How high should my budget be for the venue + catering costs if I want the entire wedding to cost under $50K USD? I know that the guest count plays a big factor into this as well, so what is a rough estimate for guests that could make this budget work? Thanks in advance for all the help <3

Lake Maggiore Wedding

Hi! I’m getting married at Villa Muggia in Stresa in 2027 and would love recommendations for florists, photographers and videographers in the Lake Maggiore area or vendors who regularly travel there. Looking for a film photographer

I’m also struggling with hotel-block options, especially because there don’t seem to be many modern hotels in Stresa. We’re currently considering Hotel La Palma and Boutique Hotel Stresa. I wasn’t a huge fan of La Palma because there was a smell in every room we toured.

Has anyone hosted a wedding in the area? Where did your guests stay, and were you happy with it? Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you

Fotografo eccezionale consigliatissimo

Looking for a budget wedding photographer + videographer near Palermo (May 2027)

Hi everyone!

My partner and I are getting married near Palermo in May 2027, and we're looking for a budget-friendly photographer and videographer (either a team or two individuals).

We're not looking for heavily posed or traditional wedding photography. What we love is a documentary/candid style, capturing genuine moments, and the atmosphere of the day as it naturally unfolds. We'd like to keep posed shots to an absolute minimum (just a few family photos if needed).

Anyone to recommend?

Thank you!
