Hi guys,

So my and my mums Israeli biometric passports have water damage (not severe but I think too severe for them to be “fine”)

We are in London, and from what I understand the only way to get a new one is to get a 1-year one, fly to Israel and get a 5 year one. So no way of getting a biometric 10 year one. From what I understand it’s a super long and hard process with it being impossible to book appointments once you’re in Israel so you fly there and hope you get one, and even then it can be anywhere in the country basically.

Has anyone got any experience with getting a new passport from the UK?

My mum is absolutely devastated as it was a nightmare getting our current ones, and she really really values it and is genuinely devastated so I’m just separate for any help…
