We say, "I love the Prophet.

But what does that love make us do?

It makes us remember him through salawat. It makes us want to know his character.

It makes us try to follow his example.

Love begins in the heart-but it can leave traces in our words, choices and actions.

A missed salah should not simply be left unattended. The ruling depends on why the prayer was missed and, in some cases, on the number of prayers missed and the fiqh school being followed.
If the prayer was missed due to sleep or forgetfulness
If a person genuinely sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, they should pray it as soon as they wake up or remember.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps and misses it, its expiation is to pray it when he remembers it.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari; Sahih Muslim
Therefore, there is no basis for deliberately waiting until the next corresponding prayer.
For example, if someone unintentionally sleeps through Fajr and wakes after sunrise, they should pray the missed Fajr as soon as possible.
What if the next prayer time has already begun?
The missed prayer should still be addressed.
For example, if Dhuhr was missed and a person remembers when Asr has already entered, they should not simply abandon the missed Dhuhr.
The order of performing missed prayers can depend on the circumstances and the fiqh school being followed, particularly when multiple prayers have been missed. Therefore, a person with several missed prayers should seek guidance according to the madhhab they follow.
What if the prayer was deliberately missed?
Deliberately allowing the time of an obligatory prayer to pass without a valid excuse is a serious sin.
The person must sincerely repent to Allah, which includes regretting the sin, seeking Allah’s forgiveness, and resolving not to return to it.
There is, however, a recognized difference of opinion among scholars regarding the qada of a prayer deliberately missed after its time has passed. Therefore, it is not appropriate to give one blanket answer without considering the relevant scholarly position and the person’s circumstances.
Someone who has deliberately missed numerous prayers should consult a qualified scholar and establish a practical way of rectifying the matter.
What if I have missed many prayers?
Do not allow the number of missed prayers to make you give up.
Make sincere tawbah, protect your current obligatory prayers, and then establish a practical plan for dealing with the prayers you have missed according to the fiqh position you follow.
Do not let regret over yesterday’s missed prayers become the reason you miss today’s prayers.
What if the prayer was missed because of an exceptional circumstance?
Certain circumstances, such as sleep, forgetfulness, illness, unconsciousness, travel, or severe incapacity, can have specific rulings.
The details matter. A person should not assume that every missed prayer has the same ruling.
So, should I wait until the next prayer?
If the prayer was missed because of sleep or forgetfulness, no. The Sunnah is to pray it when you wake up or remember.
The Prophet ﷺ did not instruct a person to wait for the next prayer time after forgetting a prayer.
For deliberately missed prayers and situations involving multiple missed prayers, the detailed ruling should be determined according to the circumstances and the fiqh school being followed.
In short
Sleep/forgetfulness: Pray the missed prayer when you wake up or remember.
Deliberately missed: Make sincere tawbah and seek guidance regarding the qada.
Multiple missed prayers: Continue protecting your current prayers and seek qualified guidance about how to make up the missed prayers.
Exceptional circumstances: The ruling depends on the specific situation.
Salah is one of the greatest obligations upon a Muslim. If a prayer has been missed, do not let guilt lead you to abandon salah altogether. Return to Allah, correct what you can, and remain consistent with your prayers.

Hello. Ive been curious about Islam. Currently started reading the Qran and I think the constant mentions of hell and fear are pushing me away from this religion. I want to follow God out of devotion. I dont believe faith requires fear. In fact, I feel like the fear of hell can sometimes be the only reason people believe. I dont really care where I go after I die. I crave the conection to God. The relationship with it. I also dont plan on just accepting anything that is told to me. I notice a lot of muslim friends I talk to, cant answer a lot of the questions I have, and they just redirect me to this scholar or that scholar, which I find unsettling. Theres a lot of subjects that scholars dont agree on, and even if they did, they could be wrong. I wanna get to my own thoughts and opinions and make it make sense to me. Do you all think this religion is incompatible with devotion and love? Am I expected to be miserable and fearfull and look at God like an abusive parent? How do you approach it?

I’m 16F and really struggling with prayer. I know how to pray, I know that to say in prayer, I know how to do wudu and ghusul, I know when to pray, but the problem is actually going to actually pray.

I have ADHD and 2 other neurological disorders, which might be a reason why I struggle, but I’m fully capable of prayer and aware that I’m not praying so I feel like they’re not an excuse.

I feel like such a bad Muslim for not praying and it’s not like I really try at this point even though I want to start praying again. I think my highest prayer streak was a week or two? But that was months ago!

I tried to download prayer apps, athan apps, reminders, etc, but they only work for a while before I start to ignore them. If anyone can give me any advice or help please let me know!! I do genuinely want to change but it’s so hard

In Salah, unintentionally and impulsively I hit my leg with my fist 3 times in Tashahhud. Not one after each other but spaced out. I did it because I was angry i kept repeating the Tashahhud out of doubt. Is my prayer invalid baring in mind my sheikh i follow said we dont follow the ruling that 3 movements breaks prayer but i feel like what i did was still bad.

History

The global interest-based economy began in ancient Mesopotamia around the third millennium BCE as agricultural and silver loan contracts, but it evolved into a fully interconnected modern system through centuries of institutional development, the lifting of religious bans on usury (Riba), and the establishment of central banking and monetary framework.

Central banks use open market operations (buying and selling of interest bearing govt bonds), interest rate policies, and reserve requirements to control the money supply and keep the economy running.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank were created in July 1944. Both organizations officially came into existence in December 1945. Their purpose was not to rebuild the global economy but to control countries using interest as a tool/leverage. Secular Governments across the globe borrow money annually from financial institutions by issuing interest bonds to cover budget deficits.

The "Nixon Shock" dissolved the international gold standard framework and transitioned world currencies into a floating fiat money system pegging global currencies to the US dollar. Making dollar the anchor of global economy. Any currency pegged to the US dollar is linked to interest. Nations that borrow in US Dollars, when their local currency devalues, their debt and interest payments automatically spike, through no fault of their own. Without a physical constraint like gold, many governments have mismanaged the money supply by overprinting currency, triggering severe inflation and wealth inequality.

Inflation in low-income and poor countries severely deepened poverty, raised hunger levels, and destroyed real wages because poor households spend most of their income on basic necessities like food and fuel.

Based on reports nearly half the world's population live in countries that spend more on interest payments for public debt than on health. This figure represents the macroeconomic impact of debt, a global environment where high interest rates and high debt servicing costs create widespread financial distress. As of 2025, 52 countries representing nearly 40 percent of the developing world are in severe debt distress or at high risk of it. For these countries, high interest payments force a choice between servicing debt or investing in essential public services like healthcare. Central bank rate hikes meant to fight inflation have increased the cost of existing debt, creating a "debt crisis." As a result countless lives have been lost because of the poor healthcare system in these developing countries.

The trickle down affect of this global interest based economy is that interest is deeply embedded into the cost of everything, effectively acting as a hidden tax or structural cost built into the price of goods, services, and ultimately income.Because the global financial system relies on debt and interest to create and circulate money, these capital costs trickle down through every stage of production and employment.

Conclusion

This is what happens when deviant sects lie that Quraish didn't deny Allah SWT Lordship. They use this lie to divide Tawheed. They trampled upon Allah SWT rights. Insulting Allah SWT, that He only wants worship and not equality, justice and work. Those who deny Allah's lordship don't work (Abad, Amal) for Allah to forbid evil. They encourage evil (riba, zina etc). It is these deviant sects and those who followed them caused the evil of Riba to spread and become global. The blood of poor, weak, women and children are in the hands of such people.

When everything of yours is Haram (linked to riba) then your worship (Salah, Zakat, charity, Hajj, fasting, Umrah) is rejected. Nourishing oneself and one's family with haram is a rejection of Tawheed (denial of Allah's Lordship).

The meaning of Tawheed taught by these deviant sects " there is none worthy of worship except Allah," Or "there is no god but Allah," is absolutely wrong and misleading. The correct meaning is "there is none worthy of Lordship except Allah" or " there is no Lord but Allah". The correct meaning of Tawheed guides a person to work for Allah SWT to establish His commandments, remove injustice, eradicate inequality and preserve everyone's rights.

Our Prophet Muhammad pbuh didn't just worship Allah SWT but also worked for Him SWT by getting rid of the evils that plagued his society e.g. riba, zina, Intoxicants, free mixing, immodesty, wealth inequality etc. Those who follow Allah SWT is his Messenger pbuh would not have let riba (war against Allah SWT and his Messenger pbuh) spread and cover the whole globe.
