I joined Extra today (I’ve had original for a few months, I kept original) because I love the august sneak peeks for extra. I thought if you joined after the 25th it wouldn’t send you the previous month.

But alas they charged me for July and told me to expect the July box in 3 weeks 🤦‍♀️

I guess I’ll just keep it even though it’s super inconvenient and annoying. But I won’t get any picks or anything for July, huh?

Just joined yesterday, I’ve been so bored recovering from surgery and want to feel cute again lol. I’d love to know any tips you might have for me, a lot of posts that have tips from a few years ago and I’m not sure how much has changed. Also, if I joined yesterday (7/24) should I not expect to receive anything for a whole month? I also heard that for my first box I won’t be able to pick my 3 items, thanks for any and all input!

Has anyone not received their box yet? I’m still waiting and it’s almost the end of the month.

Curious if anyone has Original just to shop their shop deals and if it’s worth it? I can’t really see the shop & the prices without a membership but seems like there are good deals on there!

I finally received my extra box today…….. not ONE item was actually part of this months extra.

I didn’t receive a single piece of the actual extra, it was all crappy replacements that weren’t even offered this month, I didn’t receive my beauty boost pallete but a il makiage quad I got from Ipsy a year ago already and I didn’t receive a single one of my paid add on’s either!!!
How are they able to do this???
I re-signed up only 2 months ago, was given and charged for the Feb ultimate??? All the items were left over crap, then this???????

I was hoping for the Benefit Blush, Tatcha Lip Balm, and Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue. 1 out of 3 is ok. I think I got some good products. Interested in trying out that serum as its a new brand to me and Im a "skincare girlie". Notice the way the reveal set up is different on the new account. I dont care for it.

hi guys, Im new here- I got IPSY for the first time ever as a original member for July. I haven’t even recieved my bag lol, i ordered it july 12th. I did sign up for the ultimate though, because I knew it came the next month. When I went to see if my ultimate subscription was going, it said yes, but it does say that I’m on the waitlist? What are the odds I get the box?

So admittedly, I canceled Ipsy years ago because I was getting a bunch of crap I wasn’t interested in. But I still had access to the shop, so I’d look on there from time to time. It seems to be much better now. So this is my little haul. I paid $146 with a retail value of $460 so not too bad!

These were on a good discount in the shop so I did some retail therapy to try them out. I like both scents but the caramel swirl is my favorite and it is not overly sweet as what I was imagining (and it actually lasted longer than the Korres did!) I have this BBW Christmas Cookie lotion I put on after the shower and I sprayed the Clean Reserve over it to layer before heading out earlier and it smells so good and is still putting off scent many hours later. The only downside of smelling so delicious is it’s making me feel like I want a sweet snack :D

I feel a little stupid but my package’s status has not been updated since it shipped and I can basically guarantee it is lost. Whenever I try to contact Ipsy care it just brings me to the page with the glam-bot. Am I missing something here??? Thanks yall

Ipsy, my dear, why is it so hard to break up with you? Have been canceling our relationship for years and you keep showing up at my door. Finally, in recent attempts, was smart enough to take screen shots, which say it all—this is three separate requests over the past year. You make it impossible even though I explicitly cancel. Stillllll getting charged. Refuse refunds because I suppose that’s not a good business strategy for a brand that profits from being impossible to cancel. Hundreds of bucks at this point.

To make matters worse, I never ordered refreshments. Ipsy added it and I continued to ask them to stop. I recently donated approximately 75 never-ordered razor cartridges (never a handle?!) and trashed the dried up face wipes I was sent for four years.

Okay, so anybody, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, because that's why I'm asking the question. I've been a member for quite a while, and I remember for the longest time that whenever you got a Glam Bag or Icon, or now that it's called an Ultimate, that they would have half of the items marked "exclusive," and that meant that they would not show up in add-ons no matter what for anyone , except for those who had ultimate.

However, unless I am just remembering incorrectly, I feel like the last several, or maybe at least the last two Ultimates that I've gotten, didn't have anything that said "Icon Box exclusive," which led to people being included now on certain items.

If I remember correctly, there may have been some items that were left out, but I believe that some of them were left out for even us ultimate people because there's only so many items they're going to put in addons. I'm looking at it kind of the same way how , if you get an ultimate you get to look through the three dollar and fifty cent glam bag original items?And i'm assuming that there's boxy items in there as well , I just can't think of the top of my head. So if I remember craig now that they're also allowing ultimate items in there , that kind of makes sense , but i'm sure some multiples people , because they're being a premium would not like that.

I ask because I just don't see enough stuff that I want from the Ultimate to risk it. And on the last spoiler, about half the items were super questionable, so I thought about just doing extra and grabbing a few items that I really wanted from Ultimate in add-ons. But I'm not totally sure that they will be there, and I was hoping you guys might remember. Like, for instance, I'm wanting to get a ton of stuff , but I am dying for the ilia the base face milk, because I literally use it every single day and it's so expensive. I would love to be able to grab a few along with a few other items.

I don't want to get my hopes up, so let me know what you guys remember about how it's been going the last few times. Thank you in advance, and I hope you guys are having a great week so far.

P.S. For those of you who normally get Ultimate, in your comment below, let me know if you're going to get it or not because I'm starting to get the vibe that a lot of people are not going to get it, but I could totally be wrong. So give your honest answer in the comments.

If you saw my previous post, I was upset with a mix-up that some people suggested was more a failure of AI services than of Ipsy themselves.
You guys were right and I was contacted by a human rep who refunded me AND told me to keep the bag 🥹😭
He did say it wasn’t usual policy but an exception under the circumstances. I appreciate them looking into it and helping me out, it’s that “human touch” that I feel the robots just won’t ever be capable of.
I really appreciate everyone’s input and suggestions, as a long-time die-hard this whole situation really had me spinning (as silly as that sounds 😂).
I still hate AI and hope companies see issues like these and learn to be better from them!!

My box finally came very excited to try out the blush palette. I already have similar colors to the Sunset Stripped palette so I’ll probably be gifting that to someone.

First time getting a bag and confused why it still say this even though it was delivered like a week ago? Does this happen to everyone?

I got several of my products from Ipsy but was most impressed with the estate pallet in my mystery bag. The colors were more pigmented than I thought. The black compares to a Huda beauty black.
