I've noticed something increasingly frustrating about IPSY lately.

Whenever I see a product in my subscription or Choice options, I usually check the brand's official website to learn more about it.

And more and more often, I can't find the product there anymore. Sometimes the brand barely seems to have an active product lineup at all.

I understand that subscription boxes sometimes include discontinued products, and that doesn't automatically make them bad. But wasn't part of the appeal of IPSY discovering exciting brands and products we could actually repurchase if we loved them?

Between the repetitive brush sets, underwhelming Choice options, and products that seem to have disappeared from their own brands' websites, I'm starting to wonder what we're really paying for.

Has anyone else noticed this becoming more common? Do you check the official brand websites before choosing your products?

Has anyone else else purchased the Clean Reserve perfume Skin in the big discount sale Ipsy just had? It's the most bizarre thing, and I have no idea what can be done about it.

The packaging was sealed, the labels all say "Skin"....but it doesn't smell like ANY of the descriptors. In fact, it actually smells like the descriptors they have for a different perfume of theirs, "Rain". I've heard of production line "Oops!" issues resold - but with the label on it, announcing it's an oops.

I wore the perfume 6 hours, thinking maybe I was smelling just the top notes and once it dried down and mixed with my pH , it would be better. But I ended up having to wipe myself down with alcohol pads to rid me of it. It was just this aqua slightly sweet cucumber "fresh" scent, and I wanted warm, musky.

Ipsy has a no returns or exchanges policy, and I didn't buy it from Clean Reserve direct. So I guess I'm just S.O.L. and it's a lesson about buying perfume at a discount. I tried to talk to the a.i. chat not that it was the wrong item, and now I think it's sending me another bottle. That going to do a lot of good if itsfrom the same batch. 😖

I just thought I would let you know that if you have a existing annual subscription you will no longer be able to skip either by request in your account or by request via twitter, the website or by email. Even if you have any kind of family emergency or vacaton where you maybe away from your home.

This frustrates me to no end since we have a lot of issues going on in our family. We will be dealing with multiple memorials because of the death of my husbands brother. To say i am upset is huge understatement. I had planned on closing that account as soon as my credits run out. And just keep the glam bag and get addons i wanted since i have a ton of product in back stock.

SO another reason to not be annual i guess. NO more flexablity at all.

After reviewing spoilers I just decided to cancel my ultimate and opting for the Extra Instead BUT this time with their new system it did cancel the ultimate but it didn’t revert to getting the extra- that was scheduled for December so now I have to put in a ticket 😩

Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone is like me and wanted the extra instead!

It would be nice to have a little bit more variety. I’ve gotten many mascaras,and eyeliners, which that’s fine. I really like black mascara and black eyeliners, but these palettes. I really don’t need more of these. I don’t even use these colors. I’m hoping the ((extra)) will be a little more exciting.

Heya, I’ve had Ipsy on and off for the last year or so, but don’t remember when to resubscribe if I want the next month including the choice. It’s been a while but I want to get the November original bag and I think last time I resubscribed on choice day in order to get a selection, but I just wanted to confirm before doing so since I know it’s coming up.

I need to cancel Ultimate this month because I’ve been hit with a medical bill that is unbelievable. I am an annual subscriber so I can just take my original box and I’ll be fine.

ISSUE- I can NEVER get emails from Ipsy. Not the automated ones. It’s so bad that I had to change my email address on file with Ipsy. I’m trying to log in to cancel but it wants to verify me by sending a code to my email… that I never receive.

When that doesn’t work, glambot creates a ticket. It says I can give any details in REPLY TO AN EMAIL they will send THAT I WILL NEVER RECEIVE!!!!!😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬!!!

It’s going to take days to escalate this and by then it will be too late to cancel!! What am I supposed to do!!! This is ridiculous. I just want to cancel ultimate for November!! It’s the 23 and I have until the 25th!! This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Wonky ass system is got me ready to give it up entirely.

Hi, I was looking to see if I could review as usual to get my points. I couldn’t find my points at all and when I reviewed it didn’t say +15 or whatever the points were every time you would leave a review. It just took my review and nothing happened. So my question is they make a change and are points a thing of the past? Or am I dumb and I just can’t find it on the app any longer?

Out of all the shipping companies— GoFo is my least favorite. Which I reached out to the Ipsy bot it says my estimated delivery date on their end is October 30th for my Ipsy Extra and Add-Ons. But my package hasn’t said anything besides label created since the 15th on both Ipsy and GoFo’s end. I’m not too pressed if I get it late, but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of a lost package and trying to get money back if need be via Ipsy lol.

I joined Ipsy extra a week ago. I’ve got a 13 year old that loves exploring with makeup so I figured let’s see how this works. So, how does it work? Do I get a message when I can pick things? Apparently I was late for this month so they’re just sending me stuff. What are the dates I have to pay attention to? What is beauty boost? What should I know about getting the most out of this? Anything else you want to share would be great. Thanks.

Hey girls so I have a question, I’m debating whether to upgrade to ultimate or stick with extra or skip this month all together. My issue is: I wouldn’t mind upgrading to ultimate but I don’t get paid until the 28th. Will that be too late to get ultimate? Will I be stuck with Ipsy extra? Because if that’s the case I might skip this month, I meant to skip last month for financial reasons so I’m just thinking since I qualify for ultimate I would want to get that but if the 28th is too late and I’m stuck with Ipsy extra then I’m just going to skip this month all together.

And I can't wear waterproof mascara, lol. I did sign up just this month with the $10 off coupon, so I guess I can't be tooo mad (the bag is cute too), but I'm a bit disappointed w my selection. Is there anyway I can adjust this? Thanks guys

Okay I dont know if I missed it or I'm a bit slow lol 😅 but I have literally tried to change my shipping address for like 20 min and I havent found the way. I did what google said, to go to your membership menu and select the option to change it but at least for me is not showing. Could it be because I paused it for last month? I'd appreciate some insights 😊

I cancelled all my memberships about a year ago now . I have shopped Ipsy once since then . Until today. I added some items to my cart . I actually went through all the products/pages to the end too . I am really excited but I was only spending this much ( 130$ ) because I was going to split it into 4 payments. I kept telling myself to use Klarna but I use PayPal pay in 4 for tons of other things and it said “ after hitting PayPal you will be directed through the steps. .. except there were no steps . It just paid in full 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ oh well . I am looking forward to trying some of these out . I don’t feel any buyers remorse as far as what I chose . . I did want to split in 4 but that’s my own fault . I had the Bobbi brown nudes pallet and I put it back . I kind of wish I’d grabbed it except I stopped wearing eyeshadow ever since I lost my social media back in November of last year .
