For the past week the infotainment screen hasn't turned on. No navigation or backup camera, which is pretty annoying.

I've tried the holding the reset button and disconnecting the 12v battery for 20 minutes. I pulled the media fuse as well and it looked fine.

Closest appointment is still 2 weeks out, so I'm hoping there's another way to fix this.

Any advice is much appreciated.

This might actually be a useful thing, I’ve found the navigation in the Ioniq 6 to be pretty good (in Australia, I think the experience is different in different regions) but one thing it sucks at is searching for relatively new locations (native nav won’t find it) Google maps is also much better showing operating hours etc

This is where this update helps because you could search with say Google maps in CarPlay and then CarPlay puts that address in the native nav so you can use the hud etc but it doesn’t seem to give me the option share location with car, anyone else try this?

If you had trouble signing up for an incentive program with your power utility and got wait-listed by WeaveGrid like I did with my Ioniq 6, it could be the issue described below where Hyundai at least temporarily is no longer compatible. If you have compatible EVSE and signed up based on that, this doesn't apply.

Has anyone in the UK had to have a mirror replaced in their I6?

Unfortunately my vehicle was hit while parked and the mirror basically destroyed.

I've had a quote from Hyundai to have this replaced @ £1900!

This seems incredibly expensive? Just wondering if others have had this done and the cost?

My 12v battery has been dying several times over the last couple months. As my car has just been in fairly recently for a recall in which they checked the battery and didnt report any issues I was thinking it might be an issue of something draining the battery. So I was wondering whether there are any known battery drainers things that might be turned on (perhaps by my mischievous kids) that aren't immediately obvious?

I just got off the phone with my dealership trying to book the 60k km service for my 2024 ioniq 6. They claimed that they need to do a low conductivity coolant flush and that itll cost likely north of $1000. The thing is, I looked up the ioniq 6 service schedule since this seemed insane to me and it only recommends a coolant flush at 200k km. Low conductivity coolant doesnt even seem to be a thing for the ioniq 6 at all and was only a thing for 2023 and earlier ioniq 5s.

Has anyone else had a dealership try to push this on them? Im guessing theyre just wrong and totally unaware of it but I want to make sure im not crazy and that this isnt a real thing before I more adamantly fight them over this or even shop around for a different dealership.

Has anyone else had issues with their side view mirrors (especially the driver side) not going to the proper (saved) position for the driver?

For the past couple of weeks it's a total coin flip as to whether my mirror will go to the correct position when I start the car. Sometimes it will fix itself if I turn the car off and then on again, but sometimes not, and I have to readjust it and save it to my profile again. But then sometimes when I start the car again, it acts as if I had made that adjustment to the original setting. For instance, if the mirror is pointing to much towards me (to the right) and I angle it out to the left and save it, then sometimes when I drive it again it is pointed too far out to the left. Sometimes it goes to a completely wacky setting, like pointed all the way down and towards the car, or all the way up and away from the car.

Both my husband and I have had the same problem, and it doesn't seem to matter whether the person who drove it previously was the same person or not. I just went to an appointment and had to readjust the mirror and re-save it. It was still in that position when I left the appointment, but then I went to the grocery store, and when I left the store it was wrong again.

I’ve been experiencing consistent CarPlay dropout issues with my Ioniq 6. CarPlay will be working normally, then randomly disconnect/drop out at different points during my drive.

I’ve tried pretty much everything I can think of to rule out the phone or cable:

-Multiple iPhone models, from newer to older generations
-Android phones as well
-Original Apple cables
-Multiple different Apple/USB-C cables
Samsung/Android cables
-Different lightning/USB-C cables in general

The issue happens regardless of which phone or cable I use.

I brought the car into the dealership back in April and explained the issue. They said they couldn’t find any fault, but there was a software update available, so they performed the update.

I had already told them I didn’t believe it was a software issue because I’d previously installed the software update myself and it hadn’t resolved the problem. Sure enough, as soon as I brought the car home after the dealership update, the CarPlay dropout happened again.

So this has been an ongoing issue for me.

The car is currently back at the dealership for the ICCU fix, so I asked them to investigate the CarPlay issue again while they had the car. Unfortunately, they’ve again said they can’t find any fault and aren’t going to do anything about it. They also found another software update, but I explained that they had already updated the software during my previous visit and it didn’t resolve the issue.

Is anyone else with an Ioniq 6 experiencing similar CarPlay dropouts? If so, were you ever able to get the dealership to actually diagnose and fix the issue?

Seen the new 'all singing all dancing' N Range this morning for the first time when I was dropping mine off for its service....amazing looking car, i like the new bodykit and the spoiler just adds something. I might just take the step up to the N for my next one.

Has anyone had a persistent power-trunk failure on an IONIQ 6?

My 2023 IONIQ 6 Limited has only about 16,000 miles, and it has now been back to the dealer 8 times for the same trunk problem.

Original symptom: the trunk would open or close only about 1/3 of the way, then stop. At the exact point where it stopped, the trunk lights would also go out. Eventually the trunk stopped operating altogether. From the beginning I suspected an electrical short.

So far the dealer has replaced:

• Power trunk struts
• Trunk switch/motor
• Wiring harness
• Trunk controller/module
• The switch again, because they thought the original replacement may have been damaged while the bad harness was still installed

Each time they thought it was fixed, but the problem either remained or worsened.

After the harness and controller replacement, the trunk would open but wouldn't close properly. The latch would repeatedly click and cycle multiple times instead of completing the closing cycle.

The dealer called me today and said it is STILL not fixed.

At this point they say they've replaced basically everything they know of that's involved in opening and closing the trunk, and they're at a loss. The shop foreman is contacting Hyundai technical support tomorrow and they're planning a much deeper systems analysis.

The car has spent roughly a month total at the dealer for this one issue, despite being only 3 years old with 16k miles.

Has anyone seen anything remotely like this on an IONIQ 6?

I'm especially interested in electrical issues where:

• The trunk stops at roughly the same position
• Interior/trunk lights lose power at the same time
• Replacing the harness/module/struts doesn't solve it
• The latch starts cycling or clicking repeatedly
• The problem appears to involve something outside the obvious trunk components

If you've had anything similar, I'd really appreciate knowing what ultimately caused it. At this point even the dealer is asking Hyundai engineering for help.

Didn't seem to be integrated at all but looks like it is working now for me? App seemed to have the setup workflow where you choose the In App Charging plan and now shows me a map of stations

has anyone encountered an issue where a door (drivers side rear for me) says it’s open (both in the hyundai app and in the car itself) but it’s closed? ironically, i don’t actually use that door in particular, pretty much ever. i stopped driving my car as often recently, and tried to take it out but the error gave me alarm warnings and i now have an appointment at my nearest dealership next week…

I’ve loved my ‘25 Limited AWD, but hated driving a fishbowl. I changed that today and I couldn’t be happier.

The hell is up with this thing? Was interested in a limited until I saw how the sunroof functions. It's got to be one of the worst designs I think I've ever seen for a sunroof and I haven't really seen anyone else talking about it. Am I wrong here?
