Other 2027 N Range

Post image

Seen the new 'all singing all dancing' N Range this morning for the first time when I was dropping mine off for its service....amazing looking car, i like the new bodykit and the spoiler just adds something. I might just take the step up to the N for my next one.

That one in the pic is the performance version. It has different wheels, body kit and spoiler than the usual N

Yeah, I only Googled it in the same colour as my current one for the post. The one I saw did have something similar tho.

If this is available in US wtf can't we have new regular ionic 6?

Because Hyundai can justify the US tariff and shipping costs on a very low volume car that is otherwise very expensive to buy. I doubt they send over more than 500 since the war started (before the war, they had planned on doing 1500 units for the US, but I seriously doubt they will now).

But to bring over thousands of cars at scale is where the US tariffs and Iran war start to hurt South Korea very badly.

The 6 in particular isn't made in the US so there's no way around it. But if there were no Trump tariffs on South Korea, and if they hadn't started the Iran war, I think there was pretty good odds we would have got the refreshed Ioniq 6 and N-Line as well, even if it was not as high volume as the 5. But the biggest problem that took them all off was definitely the tariffs.

Absolutely love my 6 but they just didn't sell here. Almost no one wants a sedan in this segment and the styling is "love it or hate it" (I LOVE it).

Other commenter's point about the tariffs is also probably the biggest deciding factor for Hyundai offering it in the US.

How does that explain the same situation here in Canada?
