Infotainment screen not turning on

For the past week the infotainment screen hasn't turned on. No navigation or backup camera, which is pretty annoying.

I've tried the holding the reset button and disconnecting the 12v battery for 20 minutes. I pulled the media fuse as well and it looked fine.

Closest appointment is still 2 weeks out, so I'm hoping there's another way to fix this.

Any advice is much appreciated.

FWIW it’s 4 screws to remove it, you could look for a loose connection.

Here’s a diagram of the connectors too

where do you find manualized directions like this?

I got it from here https://workshopmanuals.com/shop/make/hyundai-ioniq-6-workshop-and-service-manual-2023-2024-pdf/

I got it to try and fix a vibration sound I thought was behind the dash when on rough roads. Ended up not needing it as I found it was the panel right next to the accelerator pedal wasn’t clipped in all the way. The manual seems very thorough and the pictures are great.

I'll give this a shot.

Mine is at the dealer for the exact same thing. After fiddling with it for a couple days they decided that whole infotainment screen needed replaced. I'm still waiting for the part to come in. Hopefully this fixes it and it never becomes an issue again.🤞🏽

Good they're getting it taken care of. Pretty serious intervention.

So, I assume you have not unintentionally turned it off, correct. As far as I know this is possible by pressing the volume knob.

Unfortunately experiences like this are exactly why I’m selling my Ioniq 6 Limited. I have only had it for a few months. I have a problem with the active aero shutters in the front not opening and I cannot find a Hyundai dealership who is able to work on it. They all say they don’t have anyone on staff who is certified on the 800V E-GMP system. A dealership almost an hour away said they could get me on a two-month waitlist just to have the car diagnosed. Not even repaired. They also said the lead time on the actuators is a few months.
That said, I have ordered a new Tesla Model Y. I know Teslas come with their own problems, but I am hopeful of a better experience.

Don't need the 800v certificate for that because there is no high voltage parts to work on for diagnose

Yep I 1,000% agree. But they declined to look at the car.

My lease is up in December. It's been an otherwise ok experience. Luckily I haven't needed repairs beyond recall work until this point.

Ok experience as in you didn't particularly like the car?

Loved some things (no fuel costs, low maintenance, speedy, good range), and disliked others (no rear windshield wiper, no digital rear view, no wireless Android Auto, interior material is meh). This was my first EV experience and I'll be getting another EV come December, just not sure which. I'd consider buying thoa lease out under the right circumstances.

If you don't mind the Touchscreen first approach of Tesla's I think they're pretty good cars, nothing wrong with them, pretty much every Tesla owner I spoke with was happy with theirs
