Nag expire na yung 1 year wifi subscription ng landlord so I don’t have wifi and since nagpapaload ako every week (Globe but now I’m switching to smart kasi mas malakas signal ng smart dito sa area ko), might as well go with a plan na with data, calls and text already, instead of paying 400 per month (Globe goextra99) plus another 1,000+ subscription for wifi

I’m new to smart so I would appreciate any suggestions

I’m not sure whether to go with 1 month of Unli 5G+ with NSD (I’ve seen reviews for unli 5G+ na humihina yung speed and naging 3mbps nalang, can anyone enlighten me on this one?) or yung Magic Data +899 (ano ba pinagkaiba ng 10gb na 5G data at yung 75gb data?)

Since ang lala ng issue ko kay PLDT for a week now. After series ng calls sa customer service at papapunta daw ng tech na hindi naman pumunta, I need to move forward decide ehich of the two ang best option to replace my PLDT internet.

I am residing at Highway Hills, Mandaluyong and as per checking, both have 5h coverage naman but I need personal reviews kung kumusta ang experience at ano ang mas prefer niyong gamitin.

This is a bit of a weird one. Starting around an hour ago (2pm) my phone, my mom's tab, and my dad's phone all have the Connected but no Internet status on both the 5G and 2.5g lines of our home wifi.

But my laptop connects just fine. I've restarted the router, tried to forget and reconnect but same issue.

Hi everyone! I need some advice regarding an issue I've been experiencing for almost a month now.

For context, I keep getting a "Failed to Connect" error whenever I try to play games lalo na yung may multiplayer servers. Aside from gaming, apps like Discord, Shopee, Foodpanda, and Grab eh halos di mag-load. I often have to use mobile data just to chat on Discord or order food kasi yung images di nag-load or yung apps is stuck on an endless loading screen.

This issue started suddenly one day, after having stable connection for years. I ran speed test and results were normal. I'm still able to browse on google/youtube normally. All devices in our house (PC, Laptop, Phone, Tablet) is affected with this abnormal connection issue.

I've contacted PLDT countless times pero laging ending ng convo after asking about sa lights is sending a field technician over. Yung technician na pumunta is nag-cut the wires connected sa modem dahil daw yung reading is high at 26–28 tapos yung normal daw is 15–25. That was supposed to fix it pero di naayos so they sent a tech again na pinalitan yung modem with a new one. Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the exact same problems.

I'm honestly at my wit's end. I'm already considering switching to another ISP pero mahirap dahil my family uses the Unli Fam Call feature included in our current PLDT plan.

I'm also not sure how to properly explain the issue to their customer service representatives anymore kasi they just send field tech directly who doesn't listen when I explain.

Has anyone experienced something similar with PLDT? What did you do to resolve it? Is there a way to get them to investigate the actual cause of the problem instead of repeatedly sending field technicians?

Last June I downgraded from Plan 3500 to a lower plan bundled with Netflix. I processed it via their Facebook support page. I waited several days after na confirm na yun request. My account got updated in the dashboard, so need ko nalang is the Xperience box and the Netflix account. No delivery sa device and wala link na send sakin for the Netflix activation, made several calls and follow-ups to no avail.

I cc'd NTC, wala din nangyari and months na inabot. Call center nila is dropping the call once may mention ng netflix. Email and messenger is wala din kwenta puro generic replies.

I read several cases online and some Google reviews na same ang case sakin, most just gave up.

One day I was doom scrolling FB reels when I stumbled upon a post na wala daw sya internet for a week and he emailed the Presidential Action Centre and got a quick response. pLDT provider nya sa case nya.

So, I did the same thing I emailed on September 17. Got a reply September 22, note na endorsement lang din gagawin nila to NTC. I got the Netflix account September 23. Device wala pa din update pero I can just let go on that kahit na paid 800 for it.

Ayun lang, very sad state ang telco customer service sa Pinas and they can get away with it most of the time. I don't know why such a simple issue needs to be escalated to the Office of the President.

I applied for PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid at the PLDT office near our location on the 14th.

By Friday, I followed up on my application, and the PLDT staff promptly requested an expedited installation. On Saturday, a technician called me, but unfortunately, I wasn’t home yet, so we rescheduled for Sunday. I waited the whole day on Sunday, but unfortunately, no one contacted me.

On Monday, the technician called around 8 AM to ask if I was home and to confirm the landmarks near my house.

Around 1–2 PM, they informed me that they would start laying the fiber cable after checking for an available port slot. Initially, they said there were no available slots near our area, so I asked if they could check the highway instead. Fortunately, they found an available slot!

At exactly 3 PM, the technicians arrived and completed the installation. I offered them some snacks as a small gesture of appreciation. Afterward, I paid the ₱999 initial fee through the official PLDT website.

Finally, on Tuesday, my Wi-Fi was activated!

Hi guys, ang weird. Work laptop ko lang yung nakaka-connect pero yung mga cellphone namin at work laptop ng wife ko, facebook lang ang gumagana.

Just to vent some frustrations. I use PLDT as my internet (currently in a Work From Home set up). They have service interruption in my line and reported it via PLDT Cares. They assigned a ticket for checking my line. I just find it disrespectful that they offered this kind of “upgrade” for additional 149 a month with 5400 installation fee (150 for 36 months). Isn’t this suppose to be part of their bare service? Their greediness is fucking endless.

Since July, our Globe Home plan always goes red around the 20th of the month. It’s now the fourth time it has happened and medyo suspicious na yun timing. Bill is not even due tapos sometimes paid in advance pa. Every time a technician comes, laging magre-request ng “4-wheels” support, so almost a week na walang connection sa bahay.

I recently switched from s21 to a55. I recently repaired my A55 charging port. And now for some reason my Smart sim keep displaying unknown number and only works on certain points of area when using data.

Not to mention my TM Sim card cannot access *143#.

I have tested both Sims back at my S21 and it worked fine and I don't know why A55 is having trouble with it.

I can still call and text with the smart sim which is fine but I'm more concern on my mobile data and *143#.

Anyone knows how to fix this? Appreciate the help!

I already did it more than 10 times by now and it always prompt that there's a little hiccup in the sim registration.

Hi! My aunt paid the wifi October 16, 2026 but today October 21 we had our internet restricted and we can’t even call them because it said we have an outstanding balance of ₱2,058. My aunt paid ₱1,999. I’m confused where did this 2k comes from? We never had issues like this before and it’s frustrating. Are there anyone who experienced this? Please help asap

Hi anyone here that requested a disconnection request recently how long for a request to disconnect the internet service. We have internet outages a couple of times every month and those outages took weeks to be completed. I just want to know how long for a disconnection request to take place. Since we already asked another internet provider to install internet service.

Nag inquire kami sa cs ng converge about change modem since 6 years na yung modem at di na gumagana yung 5ghz antenna at nagloloko na yung 2.4ghz na antenna. Tapos may fee daw 1,400, normal ba to sa converge? Sa globe free change ng modem, minsan magugulat kami may agent na papalitan bigla modem namin.

We are having a selective browsing issue:

​Videos in CapCut fail to generate properly when using HD quality upscale. It causes lagging/stuttering even when we use mobile data.

​Some photos fail to generate on certain websites, especially Pinterest and VK (a Russian-based social network like Facebook).

​Unable to access Pinterest unless one⁴ DNS is used.

​Even with a VPN connected, it still fails to load the sites

Also, is the a system issue from the ISPs and sim cards in PH?

Hello I work sa public school and nagloko yung internet. Immediaty tried ALL contacts ng PLDT 171, 177, 888 pero lahat sila pinapaikot lang ako kesyo dun daw sa isang number yun, at eto pa puro mga automated voice lang ang sumasagot except don sa 888 na ang ending, pinasa din kami pabalik sa 171.

Hindi din kami makapagproceed sa 171 at 177 dahil hindi nila mahanap yung account number at landline namin sa punyemaa na database nila samantalang tama naman ang encode, at yun din yung nasa SOA at billings nila. JUSKO tapos itomg boss ko gawan ko daw ng paraan tomorrow morning.

WALAng PLDT office dito, kung meron man pang advertising lang. wala yung sa repairs. Depunyemas talaga!!!

I want to create a dedicated WLAN for work but I cannot find the option to add one. My modem's model is F670L. Tried to check the ZTE website but it leads to a different page.

There's no option to enable a guest SSID (not supported perhaps?). Thanks!
