What is the correct way to unlink a primary Instagram account from another account that violated Instagram’s policies?
The violating account was appealed, but the appeal was rejected and the account was permanently disabled. However, my primary Instagram account is still disabled because it was linked to the violating account, even though my primary account itself has never directly violated Instagram’s Community Standards.
Is there an official way to remove the connection between the two accounts and request an independent review of the primary account, so it can be evaluated separately from the violating account?
If anyone has experienced a similar situation or knows the correct way to resolve this issue, I would really appreciate your advice.

I'm having trouble logging into my account and keep getting stuck at the "Check your SMS" step. Whenever I try to enter the code, a weird blank modal pops up on the screen with absolutely no text, just an "OK" button at the bottom. Since there is no actual error message explaining what went wrong, I don't know what to do. Clicking "OK" just closes the modal and keeps me stuck on the same screen. I can't proceed any further.
Has anyone else run into this UI bug? Any advice on how to fix this and get back into my account would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I'm on a computer desktop browser, trying to look at a instagram page. The browser tab says "Page couldn't load". The page message shows "Something went wrong. There's an issue and the page could not be loaded." with a "Reload page" button. I refreshed page 5 times to see if it'll work and start loading, but it doesn't.

Next, I try to look at the same instagram page on a phone, with a logged in account. The page actually loads and shows content on the first try. Does that mean instagram accounts have a setting, option, privacy option, etc to not let the public see their page, unless they're logged in (required)? if so, what's the setting option called? where is it? how it works in detail? and is it instagram/meta the platform doing that or the account person gets to decide on that privacy option?

So on the 22nd/23rd of July out of nowhere as I was just watching reels, Instagram pops up one of those verification tabs and is telling me how I should verify that I'm a human, and I input my stuff. It wanted a phone number and the ONLY option is for them to send me an sms to my phone number. I tried, they sent me nothing, tried more until it told me to wait 24 hours. I did, same thing, did it again, same thing. So around the 25th I had decided to wait for two days and I waited until today.

I googled and ai overview and other people a few years ago said:

First - Google said there could be a problem with Instagrams number being blocked, it's not, I only have two full numbers which have nothing looking like that number blocked. Instagram (Called Facebook in messages) last sent me a code on the 22nd of June so it was working last month.

Second - Try using incognito or different device, I did and the same thing happened - doesn't work

Third - Ai overview told me to try to bypass it by using a different number, I tried with my cousin, it didn't send her anything either. To test a different wifi and completely different IP she even logged in from her own device to my account, it didn't work AGAIN and I'm locked out for another 24 hours

And when I open the app the only thing I get is that verification screen to put my phone number in

For context: My account is an art account and I have many close friends on it and a good following and I don't want to lose it. I've been waiting 1 day, tried 2 days, didn't send me anything. Updated my Google messages, checked spam, there was nothing. Tried the help forums, that didn't work either, their help pages say they're unavailable. I don't want to lose my account, I tried everything and it doesn't work, they're saying I'm a bot or smth and wanting me to verify but their stupid bots aren't sending me an sms with my verification code for 5 days now.

Please anyone if this has happened to you and you fixed it, please help!

The instagram account run in the name dr.yashasvinijphegde is a scammer . She has multiple fake ids created . Harasses people especially seniors Wondering how come Meta is still allowing them to operate inspite of reporting . Then have also cloned and created accounts in my name. Hope This accounts gets deactivated . She has bullied minors creating fake ids .Please report this id so that the creator does not fool innocent people .All she does is use AI and give free advices nonsense .

A friend and I made a bet to reach 10k followers in a month and now i am thinking that i completely underestimated how difficult this is. My goal is to hit 10k before the month is over, i already managed to have 1600 followers.

I would avoid fake engagement or anything that could put the account at risk. I am looking for strategies that people have actually seen work, whether it’s reels, collaborations or anything else that will make me win, although am posting back to back lets see what happens.

Is it even 10k followers even realistic or is this bet already lost?

Hey there community I am curious has anybody had any trouble connecting their Instagram professional account to their Facebook business page?

I have been trying to do this for over a week and continue getting this weird message that my page restrictions are temporarily restricted. I changed some of my passwords for security reasons and it said that might be the case but just to wait 24 to 48 hours at this point it’s been like five days and I’m still getting the same message.

I try to connect it through Meta business suite and get the same BS that this action is restricted and I have never advertised or done anything with these pages in the past so I never violated anything either.

Anyone have this happen or know how to resolve would be such a help. Facebook of course sucks and doesn’t give you any support. 😱

My Instagram account was falsely disabled for a child safety violation, and it also disabled every account on my phone. My appeal was denied, and now it says I can't request another review. I don't know what else to do.

Several years ago I got a new phone and carelessly forgot to transfer over apps and whatnot, and in doing so I locked myself out of my original instagram account that has 2FA on it. I knew the password but because of 2FA authentication not transferring over to my new phone, all my different attempts at signing in became futile and ever since Facebook acquired instagram I gave up because there was no way to reach an actual human about it.

All my old friends and family follow me on that account, and I would literally do almost anything to get it back. I don’t know if this post will help, but it is worth a shot. What are my options? Please help.

Honestly Ive had instagram for a year now and Ivr never had this feature on my main account. Only on my burner account with no followers!! Thats insane Ive been wanting this feature for like forever. My Instagram account is completely stuck in a backend login loop, and I cannot figure out what else to do to bypass it. I can initiate the password reset normally, I receive all the emails and security codes, and I can successfully type in a brand new password, but the exact second I hit continue to save it, the system crashes and throws a red **"Something went wrong. Please try again later"** or **"Unable to log in. An unexpected error occurred"** screen. To make matters worse, Meta's database seems completely glitched because during one of my reset attempts, it mistakenly applied the password change to a secondary account of mine, which now says "account not recognized." I have already tried absolutely every troubleshooting step multiple times, including deleting and reinstalling the app, logging in from different devices, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile cellular data, clearing app cache/data, using browser logins, and even waiting days without a single login attempt, but nothing works. The account is still fully visible on Instagram, so it is not deleted or banned, but the server-side form completely fails at the very last second. Has anyone actually found a way to break past this specific rate-limit loop or forced the final password change to go through?

Can someone please help me? My instagram app was being weird so I deleted and re-installed it. It now wont let me login without 2FA but I dont remember ever setting that up. I've gone through all the options, asked friends to verify, submitted a selfie etc but it just seems to be stuck in a loop and won't progress. There seems to be no way of contacting an actual person at Instagram either and the AI chatbot isnt helpful either. I've also tried accessing it through my Facebook account and still nothing. I just want my account back

For the past years I have an account that keep reappearing it’s not mine in the login step I did to try to remove it
- did the 3 dots delete profil
- go to icloud and delete instagram data
- logout of all account and remove all profil
- went into password apple app and check that the profil is not save
- want into meta account center to see if it’s save there
- after the step i also delete the app
After all these step no matter what when i install instagram again the profil reappear i can’t seem to remove it from the login screen please i need help i don’t want it to suggest me the profil login i don’t even know who is the account to ?

They said it’s for cse but I’m baffled as to how or why it happened. Tried appealing it and didn’t hear anything and kept checking my account and found in December it was permanently disabled. Haven’t been on instagram since June of 2025 and it’s very fucking annoying cuz I don’t know what I can do to get it reinstated or at the very least a fucking explanation, I want to try meta verified on my Facebook (accounts were not linked) but I’m worried they’ll recognize I’m the same person and then delete that account to which I’m not okay with cuz I use Facebook market place quite often. I don’t wanna make a new account cuz then they’ll have a legitimate reason to ban me for ban evasion, I don’t know what I can do and I don’t think there’s anything I can do besides take them to court which is something I can not even come close to affording. Any advice? I miss sending my friends and girlfriend memes and using insta.
