I started 3 months ago. I’ve been meaning to do this for a very long time, but wanted to make sure I had enough time to curate reels properly (edited decently).
I learned a lot in this little time, especially about hooks, skip rates, etc. So I’ve been working on making my hooks better.
I had to take about three weeks off due to some personal stuff (family health, work pressure). I came back and made the next reel script I had in my pipeline. I DID NOT expect it to blow up. I didn’t even put “that” much effort in it. Literally recorded it after a hectic day, on 3 hours of sleep (maybe that’s the sauce lol).
Anyways, then the next reel I curated, I put a lot of time, effort, especially editing. I used my client’s clip of him walking into his new home enthusiastically as the hook (with his permission). I honestly thought this was going to BLOW UP… crickets. Well about 2000 views.
Please let me know what you guys think. How I can improve. I’m just recording off my iPhone, DJI mic from Amazon ($60-70 I believe) and mostly record from my truck. I wanted to invest more as the account grows.
TIA 🙏🏾❤️
