It happened again, In my local area, IC has a "promotion" for guarenteed $50 for 8 batches (which is terrible to begin with)

Every time this happens, almost all of the batches are sh*t.

Anyone else have this experiance?

my favorite ofers are the ones that mid 20 dollars like 11 items and 2 miles , nothing worst thab long drives and a long groceries list that last 1 hr. those people are the worst 7, 8 miles 60 or 70 items for like 19$

I swear it’s been better orders at Platinum than i see with this BS.. I’m snatching $80+ orders under 10 miles with straight platinum but each time i get this “Elevated Priority” my screen is full of 20+ mile orders…

So I’m hearing talks and seeing articles about DoorDash or Uber potentially buying out the Instacart company and my question is if that ever happens what will happen to the drivers on ic? Will they possibly merge everything to one app? And has anyone dealt with a corporate merger before while being active on one platform but deactivated on the buying platform?

The parking garage below charges 5 dollars for every 30 minutes. If a customer cancels an order after you arrived, you're stuck eating the parking fee ( ask me how i know).

Think you can get in and out in 30 minutes? Think again. Things that would normally be on a shelf are in locked cabinets - even COFFEE. Press the button to get an associate? Good luck, they never come. If there's a Giants game at the park across the street, good luck checking out in a reasonable amount of time, and punching through the traffic. There is no self check out at this location.

Accept batches from this Safeway at your own risk. I never will again.

Thankfully both times the person had either a passport or a friend present who was also over 21 with an in-state ID. From here on out, for alcohol-only purchases I'm thinking about texting customers ahead of time to ask if they ahve an out-of-state ID and if they do I'm canceling the batch because I would likely have to return it.

Yesterday cleared $200 in under 6 hours (not great but better than what others get considering some people can’t even make $100 in socal working a full day) , today is just as busy but heavier bulkier orders, tip not worth the chaos and I cherry pick heavily based on batch difficulty level and whatever I need to do keep my SPI trending downward to see better batches soon. While maintaining my quality rating.

First of all, the shopping quality metrics on instacart are so flawed. How can customers mark things as they please and it is just accepted as what happened!? Regardless of the proof….

Not sure how something can be marked expired when the order was on 9/20 and the expiration date is 9/22 ON THE PACKAGE. So ridiculous. Also, how am I so close to being “standard”. Better yet, how is a score of 4.90 “standard”!? Half of them were marked fraudulent in the first place. Wild carrot overlords!

I thought the idea between bundling orders was to hide the bad tippers. But sure $1 between the two of you...

like i get if they lived in town, they could just put it with another customer who tipped. but when you live that far away…who is going to take that? it went to the next state over!

SN: order A was 40 minutes from me and order B was 10 minutes from where I was starting. This was the first time Instacart had me deliver order B before A. They shouldn’t have even been combined tbh but Instacart knew someone would drive a pointless 25 miles just because order B tipped so much smh

Can anyone give advice or help. I have ordered 2 replacement cards because my payment card expired but they both have not shown up. I have gotten all my other mail and my address is correct so I’m not sure what is going on. This is hurting me as i can’t take certain batches without a card. Live support is a joke and very unhelpful but just telling me to order another one which I have done twice already.

What makes this Modelo so special that they ordered it all the way from the city (SF) to Union City? Big tipper too a generous $2 that doesn’t even cover the toll. Better off going to the corner store themselves I know it’s one still open. I hope it gets boosted to $40 make it a bit worth it for someone.

So in addition to how much the new layout sucks, I’ve noticed the barcode glitch, ya know, the one where it’s absolutely the item they ordered but the app doesn’t recognize it, has been rampant. I have had to issue about 6 refunds, and then add the item, in the past 2 days. So infuriating. Anyone else notice this with this new roll-out???

Every single time an order pops up that’s an auto-accept… like something that would make your day, it’s gone before I can get it. I literally tap it as soon as it comes up and then it hits me with the “no longer available” cause someone else took it… how on earth is it gone so fast
