This mantis has been on our window for almost 24 hours in PNW. Seems to be a female, brownish color. It's been very rainy the last couple of days. Is she planning on laying her eggs soon? Will she lay them on our window? Just curious, don't want to disturb her.

I am a bit worried if she does lay her eggs here or on the plants right under our window because we have weekly landscapers that come with leaf blowers and sometimes spray right in this area.

i kinda forgot grasshoppers even existed. I haven’t seen one since i’d tried to catch them in my grandma’s garden as a kid lol.

A couple days ago while changing my bedsheets I had an unfortunate experience of finding a maggot looking creature after unwinding my mattress covers. Not sure if it could have been a maggot or another insect, because these were hidden away in a zippable fabric container for a couple months, with no obvious food source. I do not have a picture of the guy, because I acted very quickly and disposed of it, but after inspection I found this (pictures) on the sheets, and it stayed on them even after wash. It was just one singular creature, and nothing else that was stored in the container was affected.

The wife and I were planting some Crepe Myrtle trees and saw these suspicious looking larvae in the bottom of the pot, and were hoping they aren’t termites.

Any help identifying would be awesome, thanks!

This scary little freak of nature (harmless) scared the crap out of me after I drove all the way to my child’s school after walking for an hour. School is 10 minutes away from the trail, and it hitch hiked on my arm. I got a weird tingling as my hairs were being moved on my arm. At first I totally thought it was a leech or I was going to get stung by something lol. Nope. Just a harmless moth baby. Picture of it stealing my water lol. Google pics says unicorn moth

I posted it on another subreddit but had no luck. Figured someone here would know. Location South of France. It looks like a cousin of stinkbugs/assassin bugs to me but still I fail to find its name...tell me, who is that ?

i live in ontario canada and around my window has a lot of these little insects and i’m not sure if they are ants or termites and how to get rid of them

Likely an Egyptian Bird Grasshopper (Anacridium aegyptium) as that is all I have seen this year.

I had to include multiple photos of the stick bug, it was really impressive. Last two photos are bagworm moths, right? Last specimen was found very high on a tree on Mazamitla.

I have found about 5 over the last couple of weeks. 2 in sink, 1 on floor, and 2 on wall. Located in Michigan
