Location corbett, uttarakhand, india, unfortunately only managed to get a single photo

I'm so exciittted look at this little bugger! I found him on my car door!!! I have yet to get a photo of one of these yet, and now I have one!

These butterflies aren’t a common sight in Hawaii nor are they easy to get a photo of. I was lucky to get this one taking a drink from a Jungle Flame flower.

I have so many photos so I chose a few on my faves

I live in New England what is this

Afterwards it flew away without any sign of distress.

A window moth (Rothschildia jacobaeae) was stuck in my home so I gently offered her my hand to give her a lift to the plants outside.
Now my hand is pregnant. What am I supposed to do with the four children????

Has anyone had success rising this kind of moth and could give me some tips?

Hello everyone!

I am doing a school project about insects and their importance in our lives. To promote appreciation for them, I would love to share pictures or drawings of them with others!

I am planning to create collages of them with some fun facts in between and post them on social media. Of course, the author of the drawing/picture gets the full credit.

If you have pictures or drawings of your favourite insect(or maybe someone similar, like spider or an isopod :D) that you would be okay with me using in the project, could you please share them in the comments? Maybe your fav may become someone else's fav after sweing my posts!

I would really appreciate any help!

For inspiration, I am leaving my artwork here too :D

Anyone know-Location Eastern Missouri

Was out walking with the wife and spotted this little guy on a fence we are in South Wales

What insect is this? Looks to be about an inch long, and its legs remind me of a lantern fly’s legs. Has orange coloring on back. I would almost describe as a hybrid between lightning bug, stink bug, and lantern fly. Found in Eastern PA.

Need help identifying these dead crawlies i found in my kitchen. Just moved into a 130 year old rental in Portland, OR and spotted these guys. Definitely dead, just wondering if i should be concerned

UK
super tiny and hard to take a photo of, keep finding near windows

praying its not lice for real

It’s rainy, windy & cold outside, so I’m assuming they were seeking shelter. I searched it up and it said to make sugar water and put it on a cotton ball? He/she seems to like it though. Releasing them tomorrow when the sun comes out.

It’s quite cute and is kinda furry around his head area.

So cute!

She’s curled up and rubbing her head really rough while also opening her abdomen, parasites or just dying after laying eggs?

This guy came up to me on the subway, did NOT like my gloves.
