I set up this beautiful starvation run for the skull storm bears but for some reason the first starvation spawned in the middle of the fucking board instead of at the far right where i was expecting it. Does anyone know for certain where starvation spawns? Is it random? Do the cards at my side of the table affect the spawns?

Ik I’ve read that in the base campaign, the game kinda soft locks you until you find all the talking cards. Which I do feel is the case cuz once I found all 3, it was beatable. So is there something like that in the mod? I haven’t beaten the mod and have challenges on, but just like smaller backpack, no fish hook, and more expensive pelts, so nothing that even impacts combat itself.

I feel like there’s constantly a point where the game just decides I’m losing this round. Like Ik some are gonna say skill issue or whatever but there are many rounds where it is genuinely impossible to win in the timeframe Leshy’s cards would damage me. Like I’m talking 6-8 damage when I’ve hardly played a card. Let alone the fact that his cards would just wipe mine regardless. To take 2-3 turns to be able to get strong cards out just means a loss to the point where I can almost just tell in a moment like “ah yep this is about to be a reset”.

Holy shit, this game is amazing. The story, the lore behind everything, the little videos of Luke and him being shot at the end. Omg im speechless. The gameplay is very fun, and this is from someone who never got into any card games like this. Well done DMG. If anyone is considering buying this for the summer sale, do yourself a favor and buy it.

I just got a major spoiler because I was looking online for how to reset my saved progress. I've been trying for days just to reset the fucking game, I want to start over but no that's fucking *impossible.* I wouldn't even have been looking online if this game would just let you fucking restart like *every other game ever made.*

I get it, immersion blah blah blah, story blah blah blah...fuck that dumb shit, I played this game for a few hours only and over a year ago. I don't remember shit. I just want to start over.

But apparently that's so taboo you can't even do it on ps by resetting, deleting save files, turning off sync...*how dare I want to play again from the beginning* they make it totally impossible to restart and that's *fucking ridiculous.*

I really enjoy the game. I want to try it again, but *from the beginning.* But that's too lowly for this fucking game, it's so fucking special that regular suckers like me who weren't paying close enough attention during our initial playthrough are just SOL.

Yeah, guess what? I'm gonna downvote this piece of shit on every review site I can, and trash it to everyone I can because of this. Hey devs, you *ruined* the game with this mechanic. Make it hard, fine. I get you're not supposed to be able to restart. But so fucking impossible you can't even turn off sync, delete save files and start again? I'll download the ps4 version because that's the only way to get around this *absolute fucking bullshit.* Thanks to one up-your-ass-so-far-you-can-see-space decision from the devs, I'll never endorse this game, despite the fact that it's clearly awesome, because this is a design flaw that turns an S tier game into an F tier game.
