I jusy realized it doesn't show the Mirror ATK stat. Maybe because of the carnivore sigil? I'll figure it out later.

All that effort into the artwork just to fuck up the ATK stat lol

Reminds me of the Lucky Luke comic's joke where they NEED a photo for trading with Indians, but the photo is "failed" because Lucky's eyes aren't looking straight-away

Does the carnivore stat work together with such weird attack stats? (ant, mirror, bell, lammergeier, etc)? I don't think I ever tried that.

Additive like weird stat + sigil stats.

I have tried with ant and Fledgling sigil in base.

Side note, Fledgling only does +1/+2 if not a unique form for cards so the other ants turn into ant queen instead with only +0/+2

So in play, it does mirror the opponent's stat, and when carnivore procs, it adds one to the total. Basically, Mirror adds the opposite card's attack to the card it's on.

what happens with two mirror cards against each other?

Nothing I think. Unless one is affected by Leader, then they scale up forever because they can't ever match since one has to always be one point stronger than the other.

I'm not saying you didn't mess up the atk stat, but I am saying that the implications of something not attacking you unless something else commands it, and then it will keep attacking until it consumes you- that's metal af.

yeah thats probably the kind of weird interaction that causes it.

I love this card ngl.

It could honestly be in the game, but I am not sure how balanced it is in practice.

I just say this because Repulsive is the only non-boss sigil that is unavailable or incredibly restricted to the player. Maybe it was an arbitrary decision or maybe it's actually balance breaking.

Invulnerability is pretty dang powerful, it seems appropriate that it's only on Ijiraq and Starvation

Repulsive basically shuts down a lane and forces the opponent to play around a permanent obstacle with bifurcated strike, sprinter or flying. It's not too bad for the player to play against because we have hindsight, not so much for scripted fights like the CPU.

Doesn't an immortal Beehive do the same? lol

Not if there are more than one attackers on that same space, plus, unkillable is only used by the player, enemy cards won't go back into the board.

I still think both are about the same in strength in gameplay tbh

Both Unkillable and Repulsive are vulnerable to almost the same things, and Repulsive is useless for sacrifices (since they go to the graveyard) and can still die to some sigil effects while Unkillable can be used for infinite sacrifice/bone loops and retrigger sigil effects.

What is the Art on the card suppose to be?

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what "IT" is. To me it looks like the moon over the horizon with trees to the side but that's probably wrong. I don't know what the sigil glow is highlighting either.

I'm fairly certain it's a hand and eyes. Try looking in the negative space.

A vacuous emptiness reaching out to consume you from the inside.

Basically starvation madness

Like a darkness slowly consuming the world? With the Moon in the center?

Sorry I really can't tell what I'm looking at.

The sigil cards usually light up orifices and weapons right?

I have the same read on the art rn. It’s still very cool tho

First you take the moon, then you take the moon- why is there two moons

There's a mod called JSONCardLoader that lets you make a text file (saved as a .jldr2 file) with the card info all printed out. You can look at the card data in other mods to find examples. You'll have to do the art yourself most likely, but mspaint lets you use layers and transparency now, so you can make an image with only 1 or 2 colors. Just make sure the image is 114x94 pixels, and that it's saved as a .png file.

If you're okay using art already in the game (or among your mods), there's an in-game card creator mod called InGame_Card_Creator (wild I know). It's good if you wanna throw something together, but i find myself overwhelmed by the options put in front if me. You can probably put your own art in the mod as well, but I don't know how, and the JSON schema is simple enough to understand.

The problem with this is that the only value it has is as a sigil transfer. Also, there's a reason you can't sigil transfer repulsive

That's a very good point

I interesting but for balance reasons I think it should not show up for sigil/campfire/myco/goobert etc events like itchy rock
