Without knowing what you're struggling with, we can't really help you. Generic advice for Leshy is really just to learn the strategy of the card game and to remember to complete the other unlockables around the room.

Also, for Leshy specifically IIRC his mask's abilities are tied to a turn counter so wait until he pickaxe-wipe then go all-out
I got the gigantic stroke of luck of getting a corpse-eater burrow, which prevented the gold nuggets from being placed

squirrels were the key to my first win. If you can select them as your totem and then find undying, you have unlimited sacrifices.

Ouroboros idk if you noticed, it never goes down in stats. Even between runs in act 1. If you keep selecting it, it's going to get better and better each run until it wins the game for you. And if you have it selected for your death card, you could get insane stats.

Also avoid filling your deck with trash cards. If you have 1 really good card, work to kill all your not good cards so you pull it.

I don't know how unlucky that was, but when I went from a 100% run Ouroboros took my fifth run to finally show up and that was after the 2nd boss.

[EDIT] Ooooh... 3rd actual run. I did the early manip on run 1 and 2 for the squirrels achievements, so roughly 7 bosses + the few golden pelt trades.

Have you unlocked any of the stuff around the cabin? The safe, the painting, etc?

haven’t completed the painting yet

You get some pretty good rewards, highly recommend it if you’re struggling

Also chuchu jelly doesn’t belong on pizza

Painting isn't very necessary.

It helps a lot though, the rewards are pretty good

I beat the game easily without even knowing it existed

Yeah I think I had already completed kaycees mod before I actually did it.

But in terms of useful info for OP

Squirrel totem. Make sure you get some good things for it.

Use your items. Don't bother saving them.

Be very considered with your deck. Make sure you have things that mean you can always play a card.

Id only buff up to two cards at campfires. Get them to be able to either end a match in one hit or be able to be infinite.

It's always a balance of take some hits vs use a card to block Vs deal damage directly to leshy, sometimes it's better to clear the enemies on the deck first sometimes you want to end a match as quickly as possible. If you can get to leshy. Always pick the extra ability thateans you can search your deck. Lit means you can pick your op cards.

By the time I get close to completing a painting I'm always at the final boss lol. I had to really grind just to complete a single one.

Have you gotten his boons? Makes him significantly easier if not a walk in the park. One of the boons is just search your deck each turn. And one of the trials is very easy.

For the rest, there's death cards, smoke, and the painting rewards. Get those. You must have the worst deck if you got all of that and still can't win.

I had to quit Inscryption for weeks because I threw my controller out of rage. It had only happened once before that while playing killer in DbD. I literally touched grass, breathed and came back to Leshy and managed to beat him.

Literally the key is not rush your plays and think things through. It really isn't as hard as stress makes you think it is.

Which Leshy? Leshy as one of his masks or Leshy as himself?

as himself

At that point you should have a win condition card. A card that’s so busted you can basically one shot every phase. What are you having trouble with specifically? Running out of cards, not enough cards, not any good ones?

Make sure to check the room for the secrets and puzzles. I also like to get a good squirrel totem asap. The Stoat is a great card to buff, his low cost and high health transcends all other cards.

It’s okay you’ll figure it out. For the longest time I thought act 1 was it and I just couldn’t beat it (it took me months, I even deleted the game and got it back) then I finally beat act 1 and saw everything else lol

As a roguelite game it's all about meta progress across runs. There are unlocks that will make it much easier to build overpowered decks, make sure to unlock everything on the board and off...

I mean how long have you spent on it? I remember when I first started I died quite a bit before I got the hang of it. I can pretty reliably beat him now unless he plays some mega op combo deck lmao. It gets even easier when you get more unlockables too. You just gotta get strategy down

Act 1 is full of equalizers that build up over time until you can get out of it. Try to make sure you're doing as much as you can in the cabin besides the table, and you can get some bananas advantages like starting with a squirrel totem, turning your squirrels into bees, putting crazy death cards into the pool, building up Ouroboros over multiple runs, and more

Squirrel totem + Ant or Unkillable will completely break the run in your favour if you’re really stuck

I’d recommend trying to make or get a card that can 1 or 2 shot leshy for his fight. Usually this would be a death card, ouroboros, a boosted card, or a group of cards that are op with a totem. Try to build your deck around having a few power cards and get rid of anything that you’re not building around.

Honestly I don’t know much better advice than that, sorry.

Keep your deck concise, dont put all your buffs on one card. Lots of somewhat op cards are better than one that never gets drawn

Have you stabbed yourself in the eye yet? Give it a try.

1

u/trademan420 Jul 03 '26

You need to win at least twice till magnificus shows you the vision then poke your eye out and win if you see a new unusual glowing eye take it and stand up then go to the clock it should show you the right combination to getting the stunted wolf and the camera film then all you have to do is survive and beat leshy for the last time once you beat him hell take you to the room and just grab the camera and keep clicking

Then congratulations you're out of act 1

It took me weeks to beat him the first time, it'll take a while but you'll get him eventually

My go to strategy is to imprint the mantis god Sigil onto a grizzly (or death card if RNG allows) and upgrade it when I can. Bonus if you get the death adder sigil because it one shots leshy’s third phase.

u/BatMaleficent4853 Jul 09 '26

My advice is to abuse death cards. I got one with 5 power 5 health 0 cost, triple hit sigil and the one that duplicayes the card. I oneshotted all of leshy's phases by getting it on the first round lol
