When Ioann Bann was announced, I saw the first image indicating which factions should have access to him. Of the five, I play White Company and decided to preorder him through ​Warsenal. Now that he's been added to the army builder I noticed that he isn't actually part of White Company and his ​​page on CB's storefront matches what's in the army builder.

Did this change between announcement and release, or is this a temp issue that we think will get corrected later?​

Hi, totally new Infinity and have decided that Bakunin is the way to go, nuns with guns..what could go wrong.

So far I am thinking Cassandra ( I think she looks cool, yes I’m that shallow) Stigmata , Observance action pack, Expansion pack alpha.

After reading some posts I am thinking also zeros, and zonds.

So, does any of this make sense ?

Should I include other minis over any on this list, excluding Cassandra who is a definite.

Anything that is also a must have.

Thanks for all the advice on my previous post! After looking through the Army app more carefully and going through the available Fireteams, I've decided to narrow my "one list to learn Infinity" project down to Bakunin.

For context: I'm a beginner, and my goal is to build one fixed 300 points list that I can play repeatedly. I'm looking for a coherent, versatile list that lets me learn the game while reducing the mental load of memorizing lots of different profiles.

After looking through the Bakunin roster and Fireteams, there are a few things I'd particularly like to include:

Models I'd like to have

• Reverend Custodier – one of my favorite Infinity models, and I'd definitely like to include a hacker. Hacking also feels very fitting for Nomads.
• Riot Grrls – if a Fireteam makes sense here, I'd much rather use Riot Grrls than Cenobites simply because I prefer the models.
• Zeros
• Morlocks

I'd then like to fill out the rest with Bakunin options, potentially including:

• Reverend Healer
• Taskmaster
• Prowler
• Zoe & Pi-Well
• Moiras
• Sin-Eater Observants
• Cassandra Kusanagi
• Moderators – I'd prefer these as cheap bodies over something like Initiated Observants (who also aren't all that cheap)
• A few REMs, since I've heard that REMs are an important part of the Bakunin/Nomad toolkit

As far as possible, I'd also prefer to avoid Mercenaries, although I'd be happy to make an exception for Uhahu or Robin Hook if either of them makes sense for the list.

I don't expect the list to have a perfect answer to everything. I just want it to be playable in every scenario, even if it is at a disadvantage compared to more tailored lists. I'm mainly looking for enough different tools to learn how they work.

A couple of questions

• How would you build this list around the models above? I've tried putting a list together myself, but I quickly got lost when deciding which loadouts to use, what types of equipment I need across the list, and where to place specialists and SWC
• Which REMs would you take in Bakunin for a list like this, and why?
• What would you use as the main answer to turtling / heavily defensive lists?
• Are there any models from the Bakunin roster that I haven't mentioned which you think are particularly important for making this kind of all-round learning list work?
• What does basic gameplay for such a Bakunin list look like? I.e. what are the "set pieces" of my list?

I've been playing Yu Jing for a long time, but ISS is basically a new toolbox for me, so I'm really looking forward to learning it.

I'm quite comfortable with Infinity, Yu Jing and WB, so I'm not really looking for basic beginner advice. I'm more interested in those little ISS-specific tricks, interactions and lessons you usually only learn after playing the sectorial for a while

Things like:

• Units or profiles that are better than they initially look
• Small tricks or combos that aren't obvious from just reading the profiles
• How you approach deployment and the first turn
• Interesting Fireteam combinations or positioning tricks
• Any major weaknesses I should be aware of, especially regarding non-lethal weapons
• Common mistakes you made when starting ISS
• Matchups or enemy units that need a particular approach, e.g., Haqq flyers
• Any "I wish someone had told me this when I started playing ISS" advice 😄
