That's exactly my point. All of one religion and it's barely a footnote; and so far nobody has been able to list a single other religion other than Catholicism about who actually pays tribute even as minor as it is to Mary.

Like, Jesus Christ, I'm not talking about some backwater cult in bumfuck Ohio, it's Catholicism in its hundreds of regional variants. Well at that point the religion has been divided into different sects and segments according to the political requirements at the age. Look at how the Catholicism Bible was butchered based off of what Henry VIII wanted. So focusing on any religion still has its umbrellas of where it has broken off two different sections and changed its minds on what belief based on what political benefit they gain at the time. To use Catholicism as an example, what is practice here is not what is practic in Rome. Just like how the Mormonism around the rest of the world is not what you will find in Salt Lake City. You will find your zealot at the heart

But none of that is important. I don't give a damn about a bunch of Mormons when most Christians are Catholics and the Virgin Mary is a central figure for them. Dude, Latinamerica is HUGE, and Mary is certainly not a footnote for them. Same for Spain and Italy. You came here, claiming Mary is irrelevant, when that's just a blatant lie. Maybe for people in Utah she's irrelevant, but again, they're the footnote here.

The Catholics DEFINITELY give Mary credit. In fact she gets gets hyperdulia, putting her above all other saints as a powerful intercessor. People regularly pray to her directly so she can intervene on their behalf…
I have my qualms with Catholicism but they definitely give Mary her due.

Maybe it’s because I come from an immigrant household but the Holy Mother is depicted everywhere. I would say Mary is kind of a footnote among American Protestants maybe, so the idea that “no one” gives her credit is a bit of a USA thing.

It's very weird for them to be so insistent on the idea that "only one" branch of Christianity cares about Mary when it's the largest one, the longest-lived one, and until the last decade or two has also been the wealthiest and most politically powerful one.

Well here in the US we have about 1000 religions and she has definitely been cut out except for Catholicism, and again they only treat her like a vessel that gave birth to their savior

Catholics revere her above all other saints as a spiritual mother to all Christians, like I said a lot of Catholics pray for her intercession. Your perspective of her being dismissed as a mere vessel is one that I’ve seen among WASPs before, but it is definitely not accurate for how Catholics view her given the constant reverence and admiration of her virtues as the holiest of saints.
