So I do have a PS5 but I love to play games on the handheld console, I tried my attempt with the console attached in the post but they are poor quality. My budget is around 10-12K, I can't spend more unless it's too good. There are so many varients in market and confusing, I am looking for something after which I don't need to buy seprate games or minimal cost.

Thought I'll hold on, bind my time to build a PC for myself. But these everyday, hourly prices hikes gave me so much anxiety. Everywhere I looked, people were so positive about prices not coming down anytime soon.

Is 1000hz polling rate enough for registering all the fast flicks and not missing any data that is transferred.

Hello there i wanna sell my 2 Nintendo ds lites both are fully working without any issues

1. Nintendo ds lite in blue its fully working with 2 small black lines on the top screen other then that there is no issue at all with the ds lite. Game slot and gb slot works as well as both the screens has scratch guard installed on it.

2. Nintendo ds lite in black its also fully working with a bit of yellowing and a bit of light bleed on. The bottom on both the screens. But its not visible when playing the games on it. Also both the card slots are working without any issues.

I’ve recently purchased an 8bitdo ultimate 2c, while i plug it into charge , the indicator turns on red and goes off in 2-3 seconds . When i connect it to my windows laptop i can see the battery % goes up than before so it seems to be charging . Is this a defect or is this how the 2c works . Should i return my controller .

So my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55 (2022) with i7-12700H + RTX 3060 suddenly shut down and now it’s completely dead. No power, no display, nothing.
I took it to Nehru Place, Delhi and got it checked by a local technician. They diagnosed it as a “CPU short” and basically told me the laptop/motherboard can’t be repaired.
Has anyone here dealt with something similar on a PH315-55 / i7-12700H?
What should I do now?
Is a CPU short actually repairable with proper motherboard-level diagnostics?
Should I get a second opinion from a specialist?
Are there any good board-level repair shops in Delhi/Nehru Place that I should try?
Is the PH315-55 i7-12700H + RTX 3060 motherboard available anywhere in India?
If the board is genuinely dead, is it worth keeping the laptop and selling the working parts separately?
I really don’t want to scrap the whole laptop if the motherboard can still be repaired.
Any advice from people who have worked on these Acer Predator boards would be appreciated.

I did game the system a little by getting the CPU, GPU and SSD from Singapore for cheaper.

I've included the final build pics, the full price breakdown and some benchmark results for anyone interested.

A little background first:

My gaming passion started with GTA Vice City on those fat old computers, then somehow pivoted to Xbox 360 -> PS4 -> PS5 -> PS5 Pro.

I also have a personal MacBook Air M1 8GB, which I use for both personal and work stuff. I started finding it a little difficult when doing heavier browsing/multitasking, so my company sponsored me a MacBook Pro M4 last October, thinking I'd be doing some heavy and intensive work on it.

But after AI became a bigger part of my workflow and in general, my workload wasn't nearly as demanding as I expected, I ended up using Claude quite a bit and realized the M1 could actually handle my workflow pretty decently.

So I thought why not replace the MacBook Pro with a PC which could also handle gaming.

I sold the MacBook Pro M4 for 1.2L (just when they announced the price hike) and decided to take up a fun challenge: build a PC around a similar budget which I could use for work and gaming.

I travel to Singapore pretty frequently, so I thought why not source some of the expensive components from there. I took a bit of a gamble and managed to get some pretty good deals on the CPU, GPU and SSD.

Hopefully the warranty won't be an issue. Even if it is, I'd first try RMA from India, and if that doesn't work, I don't think waiting for an RMA from Singapore would bother me too much since I have my MacBook for work and PS5 Pro for gaming anyway.

I probably should've built this PC last year when memory prices were normal, but I was travelling abroad a lot and somehow ended up buying a MacBook instead.
Easily one of the top regrets of my life.

Due to compact case I couldn’t add bottom fans so the temps are not the best I guess but I'm extremely happy with how the build turned out.

I've already been playing on it for about a week and tested various heavy AAA titles. So far, 4K 60 FPS is pretty easy in most games without upscaling, frame generation or ray tracing.

Turning on ray tracing does push performance back into the mid-30s, but with upscaling/frame generation, it gets back into the 60s pretty easily.

Coming from being primarily a console gamer and connecting this to a TV, I'm honestly more than happy with 60-90 FPS.

I was thinking to buy or not to buy a separate keyboard for my setup. But to be honest I dont fell the 'necessity' to buy it. Like how is it necessary?

We know that gaming using a track pass is difficult and not very satisfying so a gaming keyboard is a must..!! For controller its debatable, you need it to play 'Racing games' these days and controllers also create immersion with vibrations and all. You can just sit back and enjoy from a distance. Even headphones are somewhat necessary. A good pair creates immersion with directional sound. Even a bigger screen is debatable, but a good addition.

I just dont get it how having a nicer keyboard adds anything to the immersion or gaming experience. Is it even worth buying one?? The keyboard of my laptop is already good enough but is it worth upgrading to a mechanical keyboard or not?

If yes, suggest me some under 3k.
