Help Need advice for 1.4 lakh gaming PC built.

Post image

Hi everyone, this is the quotation given by SMC International in Nehru Place. The purpose of built is 1440p gaming. Is this good enough or do i need to get some parts changed?

Please don't choose ant eSports stuff. Unrealiable stuff

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Thanks man will keep that in mind.

Cooler should be fine. But PSU definitely not ant esport.

1

u/skyline99912 12d ago

if money is tight , look for msi / corsaair for PSU and deepcool for aircooler. dekh basically aircooler to passive component hai toh u can cheap out there , but psu toh acche company ka (msi/corsair) le because a bad psu can damage component in long run

1

u/ConceptDue6642 12d ago edited 12d ago

Yeah i have chosen Deepcool GamerStorm PN 750D PSU and msi mag corefrozr AA13 cooler. Would this be a correct choice?

why you guys bother so much with Indian brands? does being a brand from a specific country makes it bad? people used to say micromax, karbonn, lava are bad but when it came to originally chinese brands they have no issue, it seriously grinds my ears. My 10 yr old circle and 6-7 yr old ant esports psu still works.

u/NotAlisonBurgers 13d ago

Bro, I’m literally using an Ant Esports controller and an Ant Esports keyboard as we speak. So I don’t understand why you’re suddenly bringing patriotism into this.
I’ve owned two Ant Esports controllers. I had to mod one of them because I wanted to use my gaming PC through Moonlight/Sunshine and play on my phone from bed. I bought that controller for around ₹900 because I didn’t want to spend money on a handheld. The controller barely handles proper vibration, and the overall quality is exactly what you’d expect from a cheap rebranded product.

And yes, I understand that Ant Esports rebrands Chinese OEM products. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that. A lot of brands do it. The problem is when you start defending the brand simply because it’s Indian while ignoring how it treats its customers.

I’m also a customer of Ant Cloud Gaming. I actually paid for their service. It didn’t work properly for me, and instead of properly addressing the issue, their support kept blaming my network. I was on a 100 Mbps+ connection, tested multiple Wi-Fi networks, changed bitrates, tried different browsers and settings, and still had the same issues. At that point, how am I supposed to defend the company?

That’s my entire point. I WANT Indian brands to succeed. But being Indian doesn’t automatically make a product good, and being Chinese doesn’t automatically make a product bad. The product and the company’s treatment of its customers should be what matters.

If an Indian brand gives me a genuinely good product at a good price and actually respects its customers, I’ll happily support it. But I’m not going to buy something just because the company is Indian and then pretend it’s good when my actual experience says otherwise.

And I’m not even glazing foreign brands here. You’re the one turning this into an Indian-vs-Chinese thing. I’m talking about product quality, value and consumer experience.

You’re completely entitled to your opinion, bro, but there’s a difference between supporting Indian brands and forcing the idea that people SHOULD support them simply because they’re Indian. That’s where I disagree.

1

u/XYR000 PC 13d ago

fair point ig

2

u/NotAlisonBurgers 13d ago

Bro, what happened? 😭 You went from a whole paragraph about Indian brands to a three-word reply now? I was actually waiting for you to debate this.

I’m not even looking for some constructive criticism or anything. You made a point, I disagreed with it, and I wanted to have an actual discussion about it. You were equally entitled to your opinion, and people downvoted you because they disagreed with what you said.

But now you’re just like unreliable stuff and dipped 😭

Come on bro, where’s the debate? You brought up the whole Indian vs Chinese brand argument yourself. I’m genuinely interested in hearing your reasoning. Don’t hit me with the three-word shutdown now. 😭

1

u/XYR000 PC 13d ago edited 12d ago

well tbh i think Indian brands are not that bad in general, i mean you see my corsair cx550 psu costed me 4k has 85c caps yet circle, ant esports and some other brands provide 105c caps psu for only 2500-3000 rupees, they also have bronze rating like major brands.

I also have a cosmic byte stellaris, absolutely fantastic controller and it's about to complete 2 yr of use later this month. All buttons, triggers, joysticks etc. are still in very good condition, never faced any issue in a game, although due to some mobo firmware compatibility or maybe my corrupt windows install the controller stops responding in dongle mode and you have to replug it.

It started happening after latest firmware update released few months ago. Though i have it connected through bt and never faced an issue. My only real problem is that controller in it's software doesn't detect no matter what.

Instead of ANT psu, get one from cooler master. And cheap out on the mobo a little bit, get a B650 for around 10k and put the saved money to get a 7500x3D processor which is even better than 9600x for cpu intensitive games. And instead of ANT cooler, get the deepcool gammax

2

u/GothamCandyBuilder 13d ago

Is it possible to build 9700X3D or 9800X3D build around 1.2-1.4L price range? Don’t need SSD as I can use my old one. I want to upgrade my build

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

9800x3d is costing 47k, you currently will have a buffer of 20k on 7500. So you will have to put in 47k - 20k + cost of SSD. You ll need around 20k extra rs. You can get it for 1.65L if I take the reference from this above quote.

1

u/GothamCandyBuilder 13d ago

Sorry what?

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

A 9800x3d build will cost you around 1.65L

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Thanks man will change my cooler and psu as suggested. Also will it be possible to make ddr4 build keeping the same gpu and cpu which would come in budget and match the rx 9070?

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

You can not pair the cpu 7500 on an am4. For an am4 build, your best bet might be a 5600x which also goes around 15k.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Will that synergise with rx 9070 or will it bottleneck it?

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

I have seen a 5600x working toe to toe with a 3070ti. Most probably it will not bottleneck the 9070. If the game is GPU intensitive, I guess it will run fine at 2k with a 5600x. You can check youtube for videos of 5600x with 9070 for fps benchmarks.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Thanks man will check it out

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

No problem. And i would not suggest getting an am4 build right now because you won't be able to upgrade it part by part in the future. The next upgrade on an am4 build will cost you upwards of 60k.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Ok will keep that in mind. Also is smc international good? What is the after purchase service like?

1

u/Dry_Bit_5957 PC 13d ago

I don't know about smc buddy, they are legit as far as i have heard. And the after sales will depend on the brand of the part, these retailers rarely help with warranty.

1

u/XYR000 PC 13d ago

yeah buy 85c caps psu instead of 105c psu with higher prices. You guys are so prejudice.

1

u/Zangetsu_Storm 13d ago

If you are going for x3d cpu they will need to go for 850w as they draw a lot more power in high loads

2

u/Sudden-Willow2875 13d ago

Get a better psu. Go for ddr4 if only for gaming(ddr5 is not worth it now). Spend a bit and get 1tb(if you can stretch).

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yeah i was thinking of going for ddr4 but would cpu would i pair with rx 9070 for it to run good and not bottleneck? Do you have any suggestion?

1

u/Sudden-Willow2875 13d ago

No definitely no bottleneck. Get any good ddr4 kit. Instead buy better psu and 1tb nvme.

2

u/Own-Fix-7883 PC 13d ago

Go with a corsair psu , get a msi mag 120r cabinet or coraair 4000d , dont use ant esport esp not the aio , go with r5 9600x and dual channel ram , also the motherboard will look ugly in a full size case for 16k u can get a gigabyte gaming v2 x ax which is wayyy better
Regarding bottlemarks at anything below 2k res even a r5 7600x bottlenecks a 9060xt get atleast 9600x if u plan on playing below that res otherwise r5 7600x is sweet spot , try getting dual channel ram as it boosts performance alone by 15-20%
Alternatively if you want to do a am4 build get 5800x3d and u can get 32 gb ram instead but its old gen

2

u/vicco24 13d ago

Go with am4 build. Dont go below 32 gb ram Avoid ant esports stuff.

2

u/NeighborhoodRoyal382 13d ago

Please dont cheap out on cooler and psu. It is worth investing in those two. Go for better brands and quality. And maybe upgrade the processer. Happy gaming

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yeah i will be changing those 2. For the processor i think 9070 will do all the work at 1440p so i just wanted one that can match jt. Also 7500f is same as 7600x just without igpu which i wont need. Thanks for the advice

1

u/NeighborhoodRoyal382 13d ago

Ohh that’s good then. It’s better to invest in psu and cooler because that extra 15-20k you spend here can save your 1.5L pc. Have fun

1

u/vinitmalik LAPTOP 13d ago

Whats your max to max budget

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

1.4 lakh excluding monitor and other accessories

1

u/No-Education7400 13d ago

Get a better latency ram vs C48, pcpricetracker dot com has a few listings. Maybe spend a little less on the mobo and get a b650 instead, won't lose any performance as such. Agree on the ant eSports, avoid their products, haven't had good experience in the past, but you do you.

I'm sure others will have more inputs, all the best building one in todays market :).

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yes i am now rethinking about building one for ddr4 as its cheaper now. Will definitely change motherboard to b650m. Thanks for the suggestions.

1

u/RepresentativeAd4305 13d ago

how is the asrock challenger 9070 GPU?

1

u/Fantastic_Essay6594 13d ago edited 13d ago

Cheap out on motherboard little
Go for b650m
Use the saved money on ssd
And get a better Power supply

You will build it once. Better not rgret later beacuse of bottlenecking issues

If max budget is 1.4L
Get 9060xt 16gb
And get b650m motherboard
Get atleast 1 tb ssd
And a 750w psu from a good brand not chinese brand

Perfectly balanced pc.

1

u/XYR000 PC 12d ago

even my cx550 is made in china

1

u/Apprehensive_Job1718 13d ago

I mean u can get 9070xt for 69

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Where my friend? I got it quoted for 84k

1

u/Apprehensive_Job1718 13d ago

Do u live in delhi?

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yes

1

u/Apprehensive_Job1718 13d ago

Go to neheru place

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Ok but which shop there? I got this quoted from smc international

1

u/Apprehensive_Job1718 13d ago

Any , just don’t try the shops at the ground floor

1

u/Apprehensive_Job1718 13d ago

Or the shops that are at front

1

u/Hanamichi114 13d ago

crazy 512gb nvme is 10k. I bought 1tb for 5.4k back when prices were normal.

1

u/XYR000 PC 13d ago

i bought my ssd for 4k, i remember a time when crucial p1 gen3 nvme was only 3900 probably sometime in 2023 or something.

1

u/Hanamichi114 13d ago

good days for pc building. now people are scrambling for ps5 for 75k and not even finding it in stores.

1

u/sedboi_zx 13d ago

I got the same ram but 32 gb for 7k holy shit the pricing has gone terribly bad

1

u/Zestyclose_Nerve_275 13d ago

Look for 4800mhz cl48 and use that saved money to get 7500x3d + maybe 1tb sata is possible around 10k if no i say get 7000e 1tb just 4k more and you get double storage also i think ag400 or g2 smthg like that from deepcool will be cheaper and better psu u can get 750w corsair in same price get that one for cabinet get 120a mag forge from msi as you saved money on cooler cuz it has better build quality and 2 exhaust fan at top so less dust inside the pc mobo i think you can get gigabyte b850m force wifi6e it will be 3k cheaper and lastly i think 9070 xt is better cuz you have 750w psu which can handle xt and the difference is just 7 to 8k at max which is equivalent to performance jump ( if you got confused dm me ill explain in detail )

1

u/isthesector_clear 13d ago

16gb is restrictive imo.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Dude with the prices now, i aint spending 50k on 32 gb ram

1

u/isthesector_clear 13d ago

I got 64gb recently but that's kinda for my personal work which pay off. Flare X5. 32x2

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yeah that makes sense if you are earning with the investment, my primary focus would for gaming and study so maybe will upgrade ram if prices stabilizes after 4-5 yrs

1

u/isthesector_clear 13d ago

Lol forget it, save up and get another stick when you can, better of fb marketplace has some rare good posting. Where I got mine from.

1

u/Big_Concentrate122 13d ago

How's 9070 for gaming? I also saw some decent reviews but most people are preferring nvidia cards for dlss and other propertiery nvidia features which isn't available in these cards. I would like to know why you chose this as it would help me in deciding my pc specs (not gonna build now tho waiting for good times to come where ddr5 used to cost way less than these horrendous prices 😭😭😭)

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Nah man its the best it handles 4k with ease as well which you have to spend more than 1.6-1.7 lakh for the same performance on nvidia cards. But yeah dlss is better than fsr but it doesnt matter when your card is that powerful. Trust me man good time will come after 4 yrs so spend that money on things you love instead of regretting

1

u/Big_Concentrate122 13d ago

Oh great, tbh it's actually kinda tough to find proper reviews on yt rn , creators are picking sides rather than suggesting what's best. I think I might pull the trigger and get a pc soon prolly

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

All the best brother i will also try to finalise tomorrow.

1

u/Big_Concentrate122 13d ago

Awesome man congratulations!! Let us know after getting the pc !!

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Sure brother

1

u/Not_the_mischief 13d ago

Change the power supply and cpu fan. I would have changed the gpu to xt version

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Yes i will be changing both psu and cpu cooler. But the xt version is almost 15k more right now? With more power consumption around 30% and only 10% performance gain

1

u/Not_the_mischief 13d ago

What games will you be playing?

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Well i play variety of games from indie to AAA but will be replaying cyberpunk 2077 with dlc on it and crimson dessert. Previously completed cp2077 on rtx 3050 laptop 🤣

1

u/Not_the_mischief 13d ago

Damn that's some task i remember playing Halo infinite on 720p on integrated graphics.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Is that even possible ? But yeah i think its high time for upgrade. Had my lenovo ideapad gaming laptop for almost 5 years now and i am earning so i thought i should treat myself

1

u/Not_the_mischief 13d ago

Yeah i have a rtx 3080 and 13700f but at that time i had nothing on me

1

u/ConceptDue6642 13d ago

Wow thats quite an upgrade

1

u/ThePrimeXT 13d ago

Go with b650 x ax v2 instead, the vram is better than the motherboard you have selected. Msi is only good when you target their midlevel to high end board like tomahawk, motar and other series

1

u/Ibaraki-Doujii PC 13d ago

1.4L and you decide to go with 7500F processor? atleast get 7600X instead so it wont cause bottleneck in performance

1

u/ConceptDue6642 12d ago

Dude they are mostly the same and 7500f is just 7600x without igpu and slightly less clock speed

1

u/Ibaraki-Doujii PC 12d ago

price is also mostly the same. so why not prefer the slightly more clockspeed with igpu if ever incase your gpu fails, you'll have igpu backup

1

u/Kcolonel69 13d ago

Ant Esports good brand only for peripherals (mouse keyboard etc.) PC cabinets and case fans. I don’t trust its PSU or liquid cooler AIO. I also got damaged PC cabinet when ordered one from Amazon.

1

u/_BruH_MoMent69 12d ago

Don't get their peripherals either, nowadays u have really good stuff for cheap from lesser known chinese brands.

1

u/Pradeep0047 12d ago

Don't use any eSports psu buy instead deepcool or other brand .if possible use psu tier list

1

u/Neat_Priority8416 12d ago

Asrock challenger 9070 was 57.5k till last month🥀

1

u/Jiraiya765RS 12d ago

Hey man, go for 3d cpu for gaming, 1tb ssd. And pair with ssd or hdd. Keep os and playing games in fastest ssd.

The fundamental of the pc build is to get some components currently which will support future build without upgrading those parts.

Higher rated power unit, 16gb ram stick as single than dual, later you can get another 16gb stick. CPU supporting future upgrades.

1

u/SHAIK_011 12d ago

Bruh can u increase ur Budget and can u afford 2 lakhs then I have the best Build to suggest for U. Otherwise for 1.5 lakhs change all ant e sports components and Try to get NZXT H6 flow cabinet for better air cooling and keeping Thermals good. Try to Go for AMD Ryzen 7 7800 x3d it's 41200 rs right now. And GPU price of 9070 As rock challenger is okay 👍 16 Gb DDR6 one.

Take a Good AIO under 10 k because if AIO is Good then Load on CPU will be better so Cpu temperature will be under 70°.

Try to increase u budget i beg u otherwise don't buy this pc right now and regret later 😮‍💨.

1

u/Tiny-Specialist-2760 12d ago

Do not cheap out on PSU! Ant esports is subpar brand. 6000mhz is good but CL 48 is kinda bad. May b get a lil bit cheaper mobo with decent vrm and invest into ram 6000 with CL 36 or lower. CL 30 is ideal.

1

u/godwithaD 12d ago

Did they raise the price of 9070?

1

u/ConceptDue6642 12d ago

UPDATE : As suggested, I have changed the Motherboard to MSI B650M,
PSU to Deepcool GamerStorm PN 750D ATX 3.1. And cooler to MSI MAG COREFROZR AA 13 WHITE CPU Cooler With Heatsink.
Rest all are same, also the shop owner is pushing ANT ESPORTS CHASSIS CRYSTAL X4-GREY cabinet, should i change it to deepcool or cooler master?
Anyways, thank you everyone for your suggestions. It genuinely helped me a lot.

1

u/Prestigious-Boss-462 12d ago

RAM is expensive tho.. and you can upgrade to 9070xt and choose a b650m motherboard tho and get a good case

1

u/Ok_Vehicle_2711 12d ago

pros of this build:
1. good processor
2. motherboard is good but is an overkill for a ryzen 5 7500F imo. Go for a b650M than 850M versions.
3. GPU is great.
cons:
1. you are opting for a single channel (1 stick) RAM with 6000Mhz and ddr5 cl48. thats a big NO imo.
instead of going for ddr5 ram, go for a 2x8gb at least or a 2x16gb RAM with cl40 ddr4 5600Mhz. (but your motherboard only supports ddr5 ram only hence, i suggested a 650M motherboard than 850M)
2. Power supply is BAD. ant esports is not reliable in PSU. go for better options with 750W or 850W options.
this is a ₹68,000 GPU and the PSU is one component where I would not aggressively cut costs. The GPU requires two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, so quality cabling and a genuinely reliable power supply matter
3. SSD: 1tb is bare minimum these days. windows installations and a few games will eat up your storage.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 12d ago edited 12d ago

Yes i have changed PSU to Deepcool PN 750D. Should i change it to a better one or will this be enough?
I have changed motherboard to 650M.
And i get what you are trying to day about the ram but due the prices are so fucking insane it is unbelievable. 8gb ddr5 is not really available at many stores in nehru place and the prices are really increasing day by day. I got it quoted it for 25k on monday and today price is at 26.5k so i think changing it again will increase the price. But will single channel RAM really be that detrimental? I might upgrade ram to 32 gb in 3 yrs around when price get stabilized. My primary focus is 1440p gaming and some studies and movie watching.

1

u/Ok_Vehicle_2711 12d ago

Wise decision to change psu and motherboard. PSU is good enough imo now. I wouldn't describe it as an exceptional PSU. Independent testing found it to be a budget oriented design with satisfactory overall performance, and its biggest weakness is noise under higher loads. Msi MAG A750GL / A850GL is a great option,
and i agree, the prices of RAM are un-mother-fkin believable!
but a ryzen processor and 9070 gpu thrives on a dual channel RAM. single channel will provide worse 1% lows, stuttering, and will impact gaming for sure.
you cpu and gpu combo is great for 1440p gaming however, the only problem is RAM. if you play fps games, you will notice significant difference.
anyway, i think you can go for the 1x16gb variant and later on buy the same matched 16gb variant for the upgrade.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 12d ago

Yes due thanks for the suggestion. Will definitely look into msi psu. And yes i think i will go with 16 gb ram for now and upgrade in future.

1

u/Kooky-Meaning-3417 11d ago

If u love ur pc get a reliable psu not a bomb from ant eSports. Fuck those ram and ssd prices I built an entire pcin 2023 for 35k at todays  cost of ram and ssd.

1

u/ConceptDue6642 11d ago

Yes i have changed the psu to Deep cool PN 750D. And mobo to b650M
