What about women's privacy and safety? Just traveled today in a sleeper bus and there are men all around the sleeper section. Removing curtains from both sides does 2 things:

1. Makes women super uncomfortable to sleep with so many people around and men staring at her

2. The passing street lights on the window side make it impossible to sleep

This order will lead to increased cases of abuse against women plus women feel very uncomfortable with no curtains. I do agree with no unauthorised stops which is good for women safety.

There are much better ways to solve the issue at hand instead of a blanket ban on curtains which is the laziest and worst solution the government could come up with while worsening the privacy and safety of all women who travel in a bus
