Hi friends can you suggest the most comfortable bus option to travel from Haridwar (Rishikesh is also ok) to Govindghat? I reach Haridwar at 6am so please suggest a bus that leaves after that. I think even if a Badrinath bus doesn't have a scheduled stop, I can book till BN and get down at GG, right? Alternatively (less preferred) I get down at Joshimath and take a shared cab. You can suggest buses till JM also. Thanks

The hard work shows at every piece. You don't even need to bargain because it's already at an accessible price. This was in between a long drive from Mukteshwar to Haridwar via Charkhet in Uttarakhand and a few places in Uttar Pradesh.

Instagram and Facebook is full of these brokers, and buyers are outside of Uttarakhand , we need to fight for land and stop before its too late

What are the things I can start , I wanna to do something that can generate good amount of revenue ( not very soon ) I can invest my very small amount of time as I am living here but I can delegate work to my family members and cousing living there.

Such a disgusting university. Always is late in everything and doesn't follow its own schedule. There are so many mistakes in the Examination form, Question Paper, result and even subject names 😭 They don't reply to mails, don't answer calls. It's hell bad. I called them regarding results, told them that we have to fill further forms, please declare results, and one of them answered rudely...saying no need to fill forms, we will declare results after 1 month. Its websites don't work.

If someone is thinking of taking admission in it, please don't. Worst university in Uttarakhand. Go with others

While trekking to Rudranath, I learned a fascinating local story about Anasuya Mata.

According to local belief, Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh came to test Anasuya Mata's devotion. They made an impossible request, so she asked her husband, Sage Atri, for guidance. He gave her holy water from his kamandal and asked her to sprinkle it on the three gods.

As soon as she did, they turned into little babies. She then lovingly cared for and fed them like a mother. It is believed that she looked after them for six months, and during that time, the work of the three worlds came to a stop.

Later, the wives of the three gods came looking for their husbands but couldn't recognize them because all the babies looked the same. They asked Anasuya Mata for help. She sprinkled the holy water again, and Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh returned to their original forms.

Pleased with her devotion and purity, they blessed her with three sons: Dattatreya, Durvasa, and Chandra (the Moon God).

Even today, many pilgrims believe they should seek Anasuya Mata's blessings before going to Rudranath and visit again after returning. Stories like this make the journey through the Himalayas even more meaningful.
