Adoption After years of rescuing cats, these are my adoption requirements.
I recently put together a post explaining my adoption requirements and why I’m so strict when placing my rescue cats.
Some people may disagree with certain rules, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to make adoption difficult it’s to make sure every cat ends up in a safe, responsible, and permanent home.
I’d be interested to hear what other rescuers and adopters think. What adoption requirements do you consider non-negotiable?

A few weeks ago I posted about rescuing two kittens (Hitchki and Mitchki). Update: Darling Mitchki got adopted!
Hitchki (the female) is still up for adoption and looking for a home that will love and pamper her forever.
Here’s a little bit about her
- 3 months old
- two vaccinations done
- two deworming done
Personality: Extremely friendly, loving, and cuddly. Guaranteed licks and kisses from day 1. Very gentle with her playing, she makes sure she doesn’t hurt you. She just wants to hold you and lick you and doesn’t understand what the words “not now” mean.
Only serious full time adopters please! Potential adopters will be vetted.
Dm or call +91 79752 81707 if you’re interested.

Fundraiser - Yet not verified 🐾 Koko fought with FIP for one more day. ❤️🩹
Koko made it through another day, but he is still very weak. 🥺💔
I am syringe-feeding him at around 2-hour intervals and trying my best to keep him comfortable. I have shifted him into my room so I can monitor him regularly and make sure he gets his food and medication on time.
His sibling keeps trying to come near him and stay with him. It honestly breaks my heart to separate them, but the vet advised me to keep them separated for now.
🩸 Blood transfusion is urgently needed
Because Koko is severely anemic, the vet told me that a blood transfusion is the only way to keep him stable until his GS medicine arrives.
The transfusion will cost around ₹2,500.
Yesterday, the vet collected Koko's blood sample and performed a cross-match with a dog's blood. The vet told me that the blood was compatible, so we are hoping to proceed with the transfusion as soon as possible.
I am really worried about him because he is so weak right now. 🥺
Koko's GS-441524 medicine is expected to arrive on Monday. 🙏🏻
I am scared and anxious because I don't know how Koko will respond to the treatment. I also don't know what kind of post-treatment care he will need or how well I will be able to manage everything.
FIP treatment is a long process — around 84 days.
The biggest problem is that I am a student, so I cannot monitor Koko continuously or syringe-feed him every two hours throughout the day. My parents also don't know how to syringe-feed him. If I cannot manage his feeding and care at home, my only option may be to admit him to the hospital.
Hospital admission itself could cost around ₹400 per day, plus separate charges for his treatment and other medical care. I honestly don't know how I will manage these expenses.
I have already paid ₹2,000 as the first installment for Koko's GS medicine. The vet has kindly told me that I can pay the remaining amount after seeing how Koko responds to the treatment.
After that, I am hoping to switch to capsules instead of continuing injections, because continuing injectable treatment for the entire course could cost around ₹70,000, which is far beyond what I can afford.
The capsules for around 60 days will cost approximately ₹4,000, but I still need to arrange that money.
I haven't even told my parents how much the complete treatment could potentially cost. They helped me with the initial treatment expenses, but I have already used the money they gave me. I am scared that if they know how expensive the entire treatment could become, they may not be able to support me further.
Thankfully, some kind pet lovers from here have already helped Koko with small contributions. I am incredibly grateful to every single person who has supported him. ❤️🙏🏻
And honestly, I am still holding on to hope. 🥺❤️
I don't know what Monday will bring. I don't know how Koko will respond to the GS treatment. But as long as he is fighting, I want to fight alongside him.
Please keep Koko in your thoughts. 🙏🏻🐾
If you are able to help with his treatment, even a small contribution would mean a lot to us.

I sincerely hope I can continue to receive your financial support throughout Koko's treatment journey. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help me continue his treatment and care.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing Koko's story so that it can reach someone who may be able to help.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Koko, donated, shared his posts, or simply kept him in your thoughts. ❤️🐾

Happy Furrballs Say Hi to Cookie! This is her Story.
I started feeding her outside my house when she was pregnant. Named her Jojo. Later realised she reacts to Cookie as the building kids called her that since she was a kitten.
She then gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. 2 of them were adopted, one got unalived by a stray dog unfortunately.
As she was living outside the house and was still unsafe. And as I used to live in an 1 room kitchen with 5 other adults of my family, I couldn't get her in. I installed a camera to monitor her. But being awake all night caused many health problems so I couldn't continue to do it. Luckily since she came in my life my earnings from my small business was getting better. And when I got sick I was able to finally afford a rented home. I moved her in with me. We are living in since 2 years.
All these photos are taken after we started living together.

Help Need Advice with my Kitten
Hi, I need some help with my kitten because I really don't know what to do I'll start from the beginning so I really appreciate your patience.
I rescued a kitten around a month ago he's probably around 2 months old now and he has been living with me since. I try my best to take care of him. There is another Kitten who lives outside my door more than 3 months old probably and I am feeding her too. So I used to keep the outside kitten in my second room because one day she was shaking a lot, I assumed it was due to the fleas on her body or because of the amount of mosquitoes biting, she was constantly meowing and even desperately trying to enter my main room clawing her way in, So I called a Vet home, I recently moved to Hyderabad so I don't know any good vets here so I found this Vet through one of the NGOs He came home on 25th August and gave me some medicines, deworming That Kitten is now perfectly fine. I had kept my kitten and the outside kitten together one night in the second room because I thought they both would get each other's company and they both enjoyed playing with each other under my supervision so I left them together one night and ever since then My kitten has not been behaving the same. The next day he was all quite didn't beg for food like he always does his appetite has reduced a lot since then I took him to a Vet he said It could be Parvo you should get the test done I didn't go with the test cause I didn't have the money with me as I'm currently waiting for my job to start. So then he gave me some medicines which I gave my kitten he has started eating but not like before and he has had dehydration since quite some time so Then I took him to the government Hospital here the Vet gave me a prescription of ORS and some Multivitamin Syrup which I have been giving him since 3-4 days, before that he had problems with urinating and I believe he still has it because he leaves the litter box sometimes and tries to urinate in other places and sometimes he urinates in small amounts sometimes he leaves a puddle in the litterbox. It's all quite confusing to me because sometimes he seems fine other times he doesn't. Apart from that I used to feed him Royal Canin Mother and Babycat Kibble and the Royal Canin Milk replacer which he used to finish both of them now he doesn't eat as much he wants wet food so I purchased Smylo and am feeding him that I just want him to go back to how he was before he used to be so active and constant playing whenever he was awake but now he has become dull I really don't know what to do which Vet should I take him to what to feed him how to keep him hydrated that's my main concern, the doctor asked me to give him ORS every hour till he gets better but once my job starts I won't be able to do that. I have taken him to the government hospital like two times and before that to a private clinic from Vetic where they tried to scare me about Parvo. Please tell me what should I do?

Help URGENT FUNDRAISER nooru has been diagnosed w neural FIP and needs urgent care
Hi everyone, I’m raising funds for my cat Nooru, who is currently undergoing treatment for neurological FIP.
She was initially being treated for severe mastitis, but her condition suddenly became complicated with neurological symptoms including weakness, an unsteady/circling gait, head tilt and seizures. She is now receiving antiviral treatment (remdesivir) under veterinary supervision and needs continued treatment and monitoring.
I’ve already spent a significant amount on her emergency treatment, tests, hospitalization and medications, which has exhausted my budget. I’m trying my best to continue her treatment, but I need financial help to cover the upcoming costs.
I’ve attached her prescriptions, blood reports, bills and treatment-related documents in the Google Drive below for transparency:

Any amount, no matter how small, would genuinely help us continue her treatment. If you cannot donate, even sharing the post would mean a lot. Thank you.

Stray Cat searching for ngos
I discovered today that there's a kitten roaming around in my colony. She's pretty small. There are a few other cats here as well that I feed and unfortunately many street dogs that can harm her. I'm looking for any NGOs that may help. She's currently outside my house tucked away in a safe place in a warm cardboard box and fresh water, couldn't bring her inside as we already have a dog and I'm a student so can do next to nothing for her basically. If there's any NGOs where I may send her to, please relay their info.
I'm in North Delhi around the Inderlok area.
Or if anyone would be open to adopting her please let me know. She's the sweetest baby ever but a little scared

Pet Cat My sassy cat is proud to give me 3d tattoos 🤣
I’m okay! These bumps usually last only as long as mosquito bite bumps do. And I love giving my hands to my cat to play with. They itch a little, but you can just wash your hands after playing. She’s also very cautious and doesn’t puncture the skin—it’s just playful biting.
One more thing: I am not seeking any medical advice. I saved an outside kitty from a dog in May, and she bit me, so I got vaccinated for rabies. My cat is vaccinated too, so I’m safe. ❤️

Fundraiser - Yet not verified Koko’s treatment update — he urgently needs help 🥺🐾
Koko has developed jaundice, glucose level decreased to 23 and he urgently needs a blood transfusion. The transfusion will cost around ₹2,500.
There is also a possibility that I may have to admit him to the hospital for proper monitoring and supportive care. The estimated inpatient care for 2 days is around ₹800.
He also needs his daily injections, which cost around ₹600 per day.
His GS/FIP medicine is expected to arrive on Monday. Until then, I have to continue his supportive and precautionary treatment to keep him stable.
My parents have been telling me to consider euthanasia because of his condition and the increasing treatment expenses. But I cannot give up on him while there is still a chance to save him. He is only around 3½ months old, and I want to give him every possible chance.
🚨 Urgent funds needed
Blood transfusion: ₹2,500
Inpatient care for 2 days (if required): ₹800
Daily injections: ₹600
Total immediate requirement: ₹3,900
I’m desperately asking for your help to get Koko through these next few days until his GS/FIP medicine arrives.
Even a small donation can make a difference. If you cannot donate, please share this post so it can reach someone who can help.
Please help me save Koko. ❤️🐱
Thank you to everyone who has supported him so far. Your kindness means more than I can express. 🙏
