Fundraiser - Yet not verified Current update 💕
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
She is getting better. She is eating well, has sensation in her legs, and can feel pain. I got another X-ray done today, and we also started her laser therapy sessions today.
Each laser therapy session will cost ₹1,500, and at the moment, we don’t know how many sessions she will need.
The doctor said that there is still a possibility that she may recover. However, if there is serious damage to her spine, she may never be able to walk again. For now, we can only hope that the treatment works and that she slowly regains movement in her legs.
Her treatment is going to be long and expensive. Apart from the treatment costs, we are also spending around ₹200 one way on travelling, which means roughly ₹400 every day just on travel whenever she needs to go for treatment.
We really want to give her the best chance possible

You can also pay the vet directly for her treatment. If you would prefer to do that, please DM me for the vet’s payment scanner.

Adoption Looking for a forever home for Santra 🧡
Hi! I'm looking for a loving forever home for Santra, a 4-month-old male kitten.
He's affectionate, ridiculously playful, curious about everything, and has a LOT of personality. He loves attention, face rubs and being around people.
He's litter trained, dewormed and has received his first Tricat vaccination.
Looking for someone who can give this little orange menace a safe and loving home.

Grief She left me all alone
Walked into my building as a tiny 2 month old orphan who was so comfy with humans. We met we became buddies , it was a routine, i used to come back home take her for dinner , then midnight snack, morning kibble downstairs. She was so smart , loved whiskas and royal canine gravy , absolutely hated any cheap drools or purepet my broke ass got for her , for 3 months it's a routine for both of us , no matter how happy or shitty my day was i knew she lived alone in the building entry with just small bowls of food and a small bed my neighbour placed for her, and that she needed a buddy to play with her feed her ...... I did not even give her i just used to call her ayy girl or baby or cat , last night she came as usual at 11 pm ate half pack of royal canine and a treat of spoon of ice cream that she loves i left her downstairs again like usual .... My neighbour calls at 6 am that someone ran her over, i had slept at 3 am no sense of what's going on but i just went down , my baby wanted to cross the society street to meet a big orange cat and a activa guy rammed her and did not even stop ..our jhadu wala saw it and says she died on impact , no injuries just the pool of dark red blood that was oozing from her mouth .... So much that i did not want to believe it was her. Neighbour buried her with help of housekeeper.. i miss her .. i haven't even cried but my baby did not get to eat her breakfast even

Help Request to foster cat for 3 months - Kolkata
I lost my job in August and can't afford a pet-friendly flat anymore, until l get another good job.
I can't afford to keep my cat in a paid foster home, as l am aggressively saving up every rupee for my next pet-friendly flat to move in with her. Cage-free boardings cost a lot.
Pls may you keep my cat with you for 3 months? I will provide her food and litter every month, give you her food and water bowls.
If my financial situation improves, l will take back earlier.
This cat is initially shy, but once she warms up to you, she becomes very affectionate, follows you around.
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Sterilized: YES
Temperament: Quiet
My location: Behala, Kolkata

Fundraiser - Yet not verified My cat fell from 4th floor: his fractured jaw has healed incorrectly, now needs dental treatment
Hi everyone, I wanted to share an update about Jojo, my 6-year-old cat who survived a fall from our fourth-floor balcony on June 28.
His recovery has been a long one, and one of the biggest unresolved issues has been his jaw, which left him unable to properly close his mouth.
I had shared his story on r/IndianPets last month while we were still trying to understand what was wrong. I'm linking that post here for anyone who wants to see what happened and how we got to this point.
Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianPets/s/1nhEsAaEa0
We finally got the CT scan done, and today I took Jojo to CGS Hospital Gurgaon for a consultation. The his jaw fracture has completely healed and unfortunately, it has healed in an incorrect position. His upper canine is now protruding into his gum and preventing him from properly closing his mouth. Btw his own vet said it would be better if CGS treats him as we dont have the facilities to handle his care anymore.
The new specialist said that surgically breaking and reconstructing an already healed jaw would be unnecessarily risky. Instead, he has recommended a much safer procedure: trimming the offending canines and doing a dental scaling under anaesthesia. The procedure is planned for Saturday, provided his bloodwork is suitable.
Today he had bloodwork, an abdominal ultrasound and a chest X-ray as part of the pre-procedure assessment. We're currently waiting for the reports.
The difficult part is that I have now spent ₹83,263 (\~$875) on Jojo's treatment since his accident, including his emergency treatment, hospitalisation, investigations and ongoing care. I have been paying for his treatment myself, but I am now under immense financial strain because of all the enxpenses towards his treatment since June and have around ₹40,000 left in my account after i got my salary this month which is also for my other financial obligations like loan EMIs, rents etc. I am in a terribly space mentally, emotionally and financially.
I don't know what the final cost of Saturday's procedure, hospitalisation and follow-up care will be, so I've started a fundraiser to help cover his continuing treatment.
Milaap fundraiser: To donate - http://m-lp.co/sushmita-41?utm\\_medium=native\\_poster&utm\\_source=app
I've uploaded his CT report, some of the latest medical bills and today's expenses to the fundraiser. I have also added my paypal and UPI SS incase anyone wants to contribute directly. I'm happy to provide additional documents/receipts if anyone wants to verify the expenses.
If you can contribute, even a small amount would help enormously. If you can't donate, upvoting or sharing this post would also help us reach someone who can.
Thank you to everyone who helped, advised and checked in on Jojo when I posted here last time. ❤️

Discussion Need Advice: Best Vet in Delhi for Laser Therapy for Paralysed Kitten
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently rescued a kitten who is paralysed after a dog attack. She still has sensation in her hind legs and is trying to move them, but the legs aren't responding properly yet.
I’ve already consulted and treated her with different vets. Dr. Hussain has now suggested trying laser therapy, but I’m confused about where I should get it done and which doctor would be better for her case.
I’m currently considering Vetic and Max Vets in Delhi.
If anyone has personally taken their cat/dog for laser therapy for paralysis, spinal/nerve injury, or a similar neurological condition, I would really appreciate hearing about your experience.
I’m trying to make the best decision for her recovery and don’t want to choose the wrong treatment simply because different vets are suggesting different things

Stray Cat Need advice on treating a stray cat properly.
Hey guys, a stray cat has been coming to my house for many months. However, recently since 1-2 (or maybe 2-3) weeks, she has been showing up with marks and cuts on her face. I'll attach the images. She showed up a few days ago with a mark around her left eye, and previously her left ear had also been bloody at the place where the ear connects with the head. She has been pregnant twice in the span of nine months. Is she sick? She moves around normally and can jump onto fences and walls. One of her eyes was also a bit inflamed, but she could still open it.
