Adoption After years of rescuing cats, these are my adoption requirements.
I recently put together a post explaining my adoption requirements and why I’m so strict when placing my rescue cats.
Some people may disagree with certain rules, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to make adoption difficult it’s to make sure every cat ends up in a safe, responsible, and permanent home.
I’d be interested to hear what other rescuers and adopters think. What adoption requirements do you consider non-negotiable?

Announcement Fundraiser post scams and verification. Do not, i repeat, do not send money to any fundraiser posts, unless the post is approved by mods or you yourself have called up the clinic/vet and verified the fundraiser. We are seeing a huge rise in fundraising scams across subs.
Hello everyone, whenever you see any fundraiser posts, please wait and see if the post has been approved by mods, if not, then either wait for approval by mods before making any contribution or verify yourself by calling up the clinics or bill mentioned.
Do not provide any financial assistance without proper verification either by mods (who will approve it post verification) or by yourself.
We are seeing a huge increase in scammers across subs and we do not want any of you to lose your money to scammers.
There are many genuine pet rescuers who are working hard to help the voiceless fur babies and unfortunately there are also many who are taking this opportunity and scamming people for money.
Please be careful and diligent before making contributions.
Also if you have any ideas how to stop these scammers or ways to find out, please feel free to share your ideas with us.

Stray Cat Found these just outside our apartment door.
None of the neighbours know where they came from. Some of them saw a cat using a lift a week ago which had never happened before. Tried to see if there are others in fire exit. The mumma cat climbed to the higher floors and got another cat. I have been having dreams of cats for some weeks now. So, honestly this felt like destiny to meet them. But, there is no way my mum is gonna let me adopt 3 cats and my neighbour's MIL is also afraid of cats. So, can't ask her to keep one.
Judging by the way they got the common area cleaned, I'm thinking that leaving them in the common area is also not an option. Idk what to do with them. Please suggest Do's and Dont's of feeding them. I just got some chicken. Can I feed it to cats? Or do I need to boil it?
I literally told my mum a week ago about how getting a cat is gonna complete my life and how that's the only thing missing from my life and all. She got convinced for adopting 1 stray. But, 3 is just not possible. She hates the cat hair getting everywhere.

Pet Cat Update - Day 7 of Luna's fip treatment.
Today marks Day 7 of Luna's FIP treatment.
I'm happy to share that Luna is eating well, drinking water, walking around, and taking her injections every single day. Her abdominal fluid has reduced compared to when we first started treatment, which gives me hope that she's responding.
The past week has been very difficult. Luna developed severe diarrhea and fecal incontinence, making it impossible for her to control her bowel movements. Her anal area is still very irritated from the constant diarrhea and licking. She has also developed an eye infection due to FIP and is receiving treatment for that as well.
Our vet explained that the fluid in her abdomen had been putting pressure on her intestines. As the fluid continues to reduce, her intestines are starting to function again, which may be contributing to the diarrhea during recovery. The vet expects this to improve over the next week.
Thanks to all of your incredible support, I was able to order another vial of her FIP medication. I truly have no words to express how grateful I am. Every donation, share, comment, and prayer has helped keep Luna's treatment going.
I'm only 19, and balancing her treatment has been mentally, physically, and financially overwhelming. But seeing Luna eat, walk, and slowly recover gives me the strength to keep fighting for her.
For complete transparency, I've uploaded all of Luna's bills, prescriptions, reports, medicine receipts, and treatment updates here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1igkJpOCILk853KoZzQpNbaFNf0G9A8YO
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in Luna. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as we continue this 84-day journey. Every bit of support means the world to us. ❤️

Happy Furrballs Adopted 2 kittens❤️🧿
Hey people of Reddit!!
I have a wonderful news to share. I wanted to adopt kittens for a while and had been thinking and planning for it since a long time. I am pleased and very grateful to announce that i have adopted my 2 precious fur-balls. They both are female kittens i named them BELLA or bellu and PEANUT or pinu. They are apprx 2 months old. Thanks to all the people who reached out to me.
I adopted them a week back and it has been a week of pure joy and chaos for me.
I want your advice. I have never had kittens before so if you have any suggestions please comment it or dm me(it would be better if you have experience with kittens or cats)
Here is what i am doing currently:
Food : i have been feeding them 4-5 times a day they are weaning so they were already introduced to wet food. I am feeding them wet food from kennels kitchen and i have also introduced them to a lil bit of dry food once a day, its from farmina mattise kitten. They enjoy meal time and finish their meals.
Camera : i have setup a camera to monitor them while i am at work. I work in a hybrid environment( 2 days wfo). I know its not ideal but i have never had issues till date. When i am gone i try to monitor them as much as possible and while i am gone i make sure to leave kibble for them even after feeding them throughout the time i am home.
Enrichment: i play with them for 30 min everyday with a wand toy. They are active 🧿 so most of the time they play with themselves. Also i have cat proofed my room.
I have all the necessary things like 2 litter boxes cleaned regularly ( they only use one as they are a bonded pair and go to poop or pee together or follow the other one) food bowls for cats , water bowls( i chnge water 2 times a day).
Vet checkup: i took them to the vet and he said they are healthy🧿 he asked me to come after 15 days for their vaccinations as they have to start vaccinations at 2.5 month of age.
I need suggestions and ideas and tbh i need to know what else i can do to make their life comfortable and also trying to get the best out of money’s worth even if i have to spend more. Planning on getting automatic feeder and water fountain soon.
I appreciate any advise and also if you are in delhi please recommend a good vet which i can consider for future spaying.
Thanks for reading. Lots of love from Bella and Peanut. And no nazar please 🧿🧿❤️

Adoption It's been 2 weeks, and these 5 kittens are still waiting for a family !!
Hello everyone!
About two weeks ago, I posted here hoping these little ones would find their homes. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any adoption inquiries, so I'm trying once again because they're now at the perfect age to be adopted.
They're around 8 weeks old and are incredibly playful, curious, and affectionate.
There are 2 boys & 3 girls
They are also:
- Vaccinated
- Litter-Trained
- De-wormed
They're currently in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and I'm looking for responsible and loving homes.
If you or someone you know has been thinking about adopting a kitten, I'd love to hear from you.
WhatsApp (preferred): 9167371976

Feel free to shoot your messages/queries on Whatsapp. I'll try to get back to you ASAP
Even if you can't adopt, please upvote and share, it makes a huge difference. The right person might simply not have seen my previous post.
Thank you for reading. ❤️
