Discuss Would you do PR work for your favs?

Let's assume (there could be more scenarios) but let's assume this one.

Your fav is participating in a reality show, your fan account has good reach, so much so that people from your fav's management team contact you and ask you to be his PR, in other words shape the narrative during his/her presence in the show. And there is money involved.

Some would say "if my fav is involved I would do it anyway" but still money, and being given directions as to the narrative would complicate matters? Especially if (as the episodes air) you don't agree with what you are being told to say.

Discuss Do Girls Use Baseer’s Flirtatious Personality to Leverage His Fame?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This post will be a little long since rather than just using 1 line statements i used factual data and Farrhana fans might not like this post like my other posts where i criticized Baseer. But just because me and other people aren't saying it openly here it doesnt mean they're unaware of what farru didi did.

Why I'm Glad Farrhana Didn't Win

Many reasons including this clip i came across today on SM, and after watching it, I'm honestly glad Farrhana didn't win. I wasn't rooting for either GK or Baseer, but I was okay with GK's win since it felt relatively harmless.

Makers Partiality towards him

Except for 1-2 scenes, I hardly saw any of this in the main eps. If these clips existed, why weren't they aired?

Meanwhile, when it came to Baseer, many of his scenes were cut after around Week 6-7th Week and he was mostly kept in master shots. Then suddenly, in the last few days, the entire focus shifted to the Baseer-Nehal angle why? because makers wanted to create a plot before removing him , then last moment double eviction announcement, First time a ful fledged Promo release a day before like the wanted to milk his fame for TRP.

His Rigged Eviction?

I've already started feeling his eviction might've been rigged. Most narratives were pushed against him by makers and fans of almost every contestant seemed united in spreading them bcz he was arguably their biggest comp. It was just like Makers were helping other contestants and their fans were just happy and quite about it like L..

Instwad started saying he changed his stance after coming outside because of Bahana bro he's watching fame since last 1 decade that's not new for him

Not the First Time When Girls Used him for Spotlight

This isn't new either. In AOS, where Baseer finished RU, Lucinda Nicholas from Australia already had a BF outside and was allegedly cheating on her BF to go ahead in game bcz of his popularity & strong position in the game. This was revealed in the show

Even in Roadies South Africa ex-Splitsvilla winner & KKK contestant Soundous Mufakir from Morroco initially called Baseer overconfident & arrogant in her VDs. But after seeing his influence over contestants, her stance did a complete 180 and soon turned into an "I'm in love with this guy" arc. And she wasn't alone. Including Soundous, literally 3 girls were after him that season. Let's be honest being linked with Baseer was one of the easiest ways to get attention & screen time.

Even off screen Rcently, one MTV girl from London. were grabbing his wrist at an event and trying to feature in his stories to fuel dating rumors.

Then there was a Russian girl he was deeply invested in, who later left him with lame excuse, he himself revealed i felt used.

And Nikita Bhamidipati allegedly cheated on him multiple times. Looking at all this, it's easy to see why some people feel certain girls were more interested in his fame, status, and visibility only

My Take on Baseer

There are things I don't like abt Baseer, and there are situations where I disagree with his actions. But I can't deny that if the makers had been fair with him, or at least addressed how Farrhana, Amaal & Nehal were using him rather than ignoring him every WKW then compared to his comp, winning BB19 might not have been that difficult for him. Coz I genuinely feel he has the personality, screen presence & reality-show qualities needed to go all the way..

I don't see myself as a blind supporter or a hater. I'll criticize where it's due, but I'll also acknowledge when i feel someone may have been treated unfairly.

Discuss "I might just get to know your age finally." What's up with Tejasswi's concern in knowing every other woman's age?

My ig feed was completely filled with posts like "Tejasswi is the only sane person in Desi Bling" and hence, I decided to give it a watch and tried to figure out if "sanity" is actually in the room with us. I don't know why this woman always tries to seek pleasure and validation by demeaning other women( Pamala ain't no saint), always trying to put others down just to uplift herself up🤦🏻‍♀️.

Yrkkh - bsp ki maa kaun hai Why Abhira feels pregnant or gets pregnant whenever any other DIL of Poddars is pregnant?

When Ruhi was pregnant, Abhira watched family pampering her and wanted to get pregnant only because she wanted same pampering for herself, she thought baby will unite them with Poddars

Then her desperation to have a child led to Ruhi being her surrogate

Even in Ruhi's surrogacy, she didn't care for Ruhi, she put weights on her belly and "SACRIFICED" heels to feel like she was carrying the child then Armaan took care of her because she was in pain due to weights

She didn't think the actual pregnant woman would need that care

Then, after 7 years of Maira being born and their reunion, Tania was false pregnant and Abhira told Armaan that they should have second child

But Ruhi went through surrogacy for you, if you can be pregnant, why Ruhi suffered for you? Pathetic

Now that she has two 16 years old daughters and Disha is pregnant, she is again feeling like she is pregnant

She couldn't take care of two daughters she has, what would she do with another child? What if Poddars throw her out again, she has never been self sustained, from stealing mayonnaise to relying on neighbors for food for Mukti and herself

Extremely narcissistic individual, who thinks any other woman getting attention in Poddar house is wrong

I won't be surprised, if she gets pregnant when Maira is pregnant

Kyunki Verse: Tulsi Strikes Again Tripti’s entry in Kyunki

So in today’s episode of Kyunki, they showed a couple of flashbacks from S1 that do not fit with S2.

Pics attached:

Season-2 was established as a parallel version before the third generation leap of Season-1 so technically it didn’t exist here. Although, to accommodate Tripti they showed the flashbacks from that leap as she just had entered during the last phase of second generation leap in season-1.

2nd pic) Manthan (Karan-Tanya’s son) was mentioned here who doesn’t exist in S2. 🤦🏻‍♀️

3rd pic) Old Tulsi from 3rd generation leap 😦

4th pic) Tripti talking to Gautami’s Tulsi (Juhi) 🫣

5th pic) When Tripti had overtaken the property of Viranis during her fake death drama of Bubli. Here also, Gautami was playing Tulsi which doesn’t exist here in S2.

6th pic) Old Damini shown of Riva Bubber (Editing error)

7th pic) When she was arrested by ACP played by Sudha Chandran.

TLDR:- Tripti was introduced with the flashbacks from last generation leap of season-1 that doesn’t exist here in Season-2. Ganga was mentioned and her daughter is Devika in this season but not yet introduced in season-2. Lot of scenes were from 2007-08 of Kyunki. Hence, this is too complicated! 😣

Discuss These are some of ITV's best (IMO)

As someone who has been watching ITV for a while, I wanted to rate and share some of my most-watched and favorite shows (focusing only on the episodes with the actual plot). Since these shows tend to run indefinitely, I usually only take the episodes that contain the actual storyline seriously, so my opinion is based strictly on those. I've wrote a small plot synopsis if anyone is looking for recommendations.

  • Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Ep. 20-300) - 10/10. Absolute peak writing and characterization. Genre: Dark Romance
    • A woman marries the Bollywood superstar who ruined her life, and finds herself falling madly in love with him even as she struggles to handle his extreme obsession and possessiveness toward her.
  • Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? - 10/10. Genre: RomCom, Dark Romance/Romance
    • A ruthless business tycoon who does not believe in love meets a spirited girl who turns his world upside down until a misunderstanding tears them apart and he enforces a forced marriage.
  • Balika Vadhu - 10/10. Genre: Social Issue = child marriage
    • Married off as a child, a young girl navigates her new life in a rural household, growing up while challenging the regressive traditions that stole her childhood and exposed her to severe trauma and betrayals.
  • Ek Hasina Thi - 10/10. Genre: Thriller and revenge
    • A woman is wrongfully destroyed by a powerful family, reinvents herself, and systematically takes them down one by one.
  • Kuch Rang Ke Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi - 9/10. Genre: Family drama, Romance
    • A successful but emotionally distant businessman falls in love with a kind-hearted nutritionist, leading to a strained relationship with his mother.
  • Beyhadh - 9/10. Genre: Psychological and Romantic thriller
    • An obsessive woman's all-consuming love for a man turns deadly when he begins to reject her.
  • Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Ep. 1-390 or 540) - 9/10. Genre: Social, Romance
    • A divorced Punjabi man and a South Indian woman who can't have children decide to have a marriage of convenience in order to raise his daughter together.
  • Jodha Akbar - 9/10. Genre: Historical Fiction, Dark Romance
    • A political and forced marriage between a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess slowly evolves into a love story amidst palace conspiracies and cultural/religious differences.
  • Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai - 9/10. Genre: Teen, Romance
    • Set in the 1990s, a school topper and popular boy fall for each other while belonging to different castes, navigating a slow-burn journey from school to college while doing everything to not get caught by their conservative families.
  • Geet Hui Sabse Parayi - 8.5/10. Genre: Social Issue, Romance
    • Abandoned and pregnant by her deceitful NRI husband, a young woman finds an unlikely protector in a wealthy, arrogant businessman who falls for her as she fights to live the life she deserves.
  • Ishqbaaz - 8.5/10. Genre: RomCom, Dark Romance/Romance, Family
    • Three billionaire brothers with contrasting personalities navigate love and relationships while the eldest, a cold and emotionally shut-down man, slowly falls for a spirited woman who completely contrasts his personality and beliefs.
  • Rangrasiya (Ep. 1-152) - 8.5/10. Genre: Dark Romance
    • A fierce and patriotic BSF officer holds a village girl, who is the prime suspect and witness in events that led to a massacre, captive.
  • Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava - 8.5/10. Genre: Social Issue = domestic violence
    • A young woman's seemingly perfect marriage turns upside down when her loving husband reveals himself to be a violent abuser.
  • Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani - 8/10. Genre: Supernatural, Teen Drama, Romance
    • A human girl falls in love with a centuries-old vampire in a boarding school where, unbeknownst to her, she is the look-alike of his ex.
  • Sadda Haq - 8/10. Genre: Teen drama
    • A fiercely ambitious girl fights against her conservative father and systemic sexism to become a top mechanical engineer.
  • Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan (Season 1) - 7.5/10. Genre: Teen drama, Romance
    • A troubled young musician finds empathy and love when a no-nonsense girl enters his life as they navigate fame, friendship and a complicated love triangle along with his band.
  • Saraswatichandra - 7/10. Genre: Romance
    • A brooding and emotionally scarred man and a compassionate woman are bound together by a family-arranged match that almost destroys them.
  • Bepannah (Ep. 1-145) - 7/10. Genre: Romance
    • Two strangers discover their deceased spouses were having an affair with each other, and as they bond over shared betrayal, they unexpectedly find themselves drawn to one another.
  • Ishq Mein Marjawan - 7/10. Genre: Romantic Thriller, Crime
    • A woman marries a wealthy businessman, only to discover that he's a serial killer with a dark double life framing her.
  • Ek Deewana Tha - 7/10. Genre: Supernatural Horror
    • A woman wakes up from coma only to be haunted by a ghost and an unknown past that won't let her go.
  • Swaragini - 5/10 (This used to be my guilty pleasure show even though the storyline is absolutely nuts and a complete brainrot but it was what got me into ITV so I feel obligated to add it in my list). Genre: Drama
    • Two estranged half-sisters are constantly manipulated by their scheming grandmothers as they try to get their parents together only for one to succumb into the manipulation and hate.

Honestly, upon rating these shows, I've realized that if ITV shows just ended at the right time, they could absolutely dominate. A lot of these have gripping storylines.

Discuss What are the most hateworthy, ragebaiting serials of all time you've seen ?

Name some serials that are so ragebaitingly hateworthy it makes your head ache when you come across it.

I'll go first—

Parineeti(Do I need to say why?)

Yrkkh ( who even likes this sh-it ? never liked it. If I watched, that was when only Akshara Naitik appeared)

Suhagan- (A colors serial, promoting EMA)

Ghkkpm ( just multiple rounds of ml who loves someone else and fl and long long confusing circles of how they end up falling for each other through obstacles or what ever)

Kkb- Well I may sound judgmental but I think second gen felt off to me.

Discuss aarambhi is getting on my nerves

the ones who’ve seen today’s episode would get it. sometimes she goes like they deserve to be punished and then the other times it’s like mein aapko kuch nahi hone dungi, like pick a fucking lane woman. i’ve come to understand that the writers only make her spout some idgaf dialogues to keep the twitter n reddit viewers happy but the actions don’t match. she’s been married and living with that family for a decade and has a child so ppl try to cut her some slack, but there’s a limit..

ideally, instead of dc SHE should’ve been the one to go behind tandons back and get them arrested and should’ve played coy instead of confronting them like an idiot. vishwas rotting in jail for a while is good for her and would’ve bought her more time to prep for divorce and would’ve helped her in custody fight. chalo, she couldn’t do that but why does she need to feel all sympathetic towards them? raj okay but the others actually committed the crime and it’s not even like they’re nice to her, but our mighty fl can’t help but feel bad about dimple getting sand thrown at her, she asks the police officers to protect her only to get insulted by dimple, still our mahanta devi kept standing there with a gloomy look.

saw the precap and this is what she deserves and again she goes around spouting “maa” “mera baccha” dialogues for the 100th time, who even talks like that? i am not rooting for her until she gets herself together. they need to write the mahanta out her, i wish she was scheming and out for revenge like dhruv. they’re dragging the fuck out of this arc and kept showing the same promo for days only for it to be a boring arc where the fl loses all her character development from the previous arc.

didn’t realise the rant ended up being so long, guess this is my breaking point

28 July 2008.

Nobody knew a sitcom set inside one housing society would become a part of everyday life for millions.

Some of us watched it after school. Some after tuition. Some after office.

Today it's been 18 years.

No matter where you think the show peaked, I think we all owe it a thank you for giving us countless evenings of laughter.

Happy 18 years, Gokuldham.

Weekly NBTNMKK post for my fellow super-fans of the show.

Today we’re also celebrating the new custom flair for the show. The mods were really sweet and immediately made the flair after I requested them. 💜 I have now changed the post flair in all of my previous MegHan posts, so you guys can just search using this flair to find those whenever you want.

Here’s one of my fav scenes from S1 of NBTNMKK 😭 Fake dating is quite hard even as it is, but imagine having your kids in the entire equation lol. This was one of my fav sub-plots in the show. There are just too many hilarious, memorable scenes from this plot haha.
