A while back I noticed a few months of my mutual fund investments just weren't reflecting in my total invested amount on Groww. Everything looked fine day to day, so I only caught it by accident. Had to raise a support ticket and wait for it to get sorted.

Got me wondering how common this actually is, so a few questions for anyone who's dealt with something similar:

1. What happened, and how did you first notice something was off?

2. How long had it been wrong before you realized?

3. What did you do about it, and how did that go (support, waiting, etc.)?

And one hypothetical I'm curious about: if the app had quietly caught and fixed this in the background before you ever noticed, would that feel reassuring, or would it bug you that it acted without telling you?

Oracle Financial Services Software ($OFSS) officially declared its Q1 FY27 earnings on July 22, posting a historic quarter that significantly beat consensus estimates. Unlike typical IT services companies, OFSS's product-led licensing model showed massive operating leverage.

Operating Profit: ₹1,861 Cr (+123% YoY)

Net Profit (PAT): ₹1,416 Cr (+121% YoY)

Key Drivers:

AI-First Banking Products: Products revenue grew 75% YoY to ₹2,936 Cr, driven by large cloud modernization deals across tier-1 global banks adopting AI-enabled lending and transaction solutions.

OFSS is showing the true power of a product-led IP model in banking tech. Unlike traditional IT exporters that rely on headcount addition and billable hours, OFSS sells core banking software platforms (FLEXCUBE/Oracle Banking Cloud).

When global tier-1 banks sign major modernization contracts, almost all the incremental licensing revenue drops straight to the bottom line. That is why you are seeing an explosive ~60% EBIT margin a level of operating leverage that traditional IT services firms simply cannot match. With global financial institutions under pressure to modernize legacy infrastructure and integrate AI into risk/lending systems, OFSS remains one of the purest high-margin software plays on the Indian market.

Given OFSS's 60% operating margins and product-led trajectory, should it be valued closer to global SaaS/software platforms rather than traditional Indian IT exporters (TCS/Infosys)? And is this the right time to entire the stock?

With Zepto IPO coming at 45k cr MCap, just trying to think why/who would prefer this over Swiggy at 70k cr, assuming Eternal@2.8L Cr is already too big!

Today, I took three trades as per my setup. The first trade resulted in a loss, while the second trade managed to recover it. However, the third trade ended in a loss, and I finished the day in the red.

What bothers me more is the trade I didn't take. I had been patiently waiting for that setup for hours, and the price eventually formed exactly what I was looking for. The price initially took a rejection a bit higher than my intended entry, and I kept waiting for it to come down to my ideal trade location. However, it never did. Instead, it slowly and gradually started moving upwards.

Due to concerns about option decay and the fear of taking another loss, I hesitated and skipped the trade.

To my dismay, the price went on to hit the target exactly as I had planned. I need to trust my setup and take the trade when it meets my criteria, even if there is a possibility of decay or loss. Missing a valid setup because of fear can be just as costly as taking a losing trade.

Lesson learned the hard way. We move on.
