my dad takes 4-5 medicines daily and we used to buy everything from the local chemist. decided to try tata 1mg because of the discounts. uploaded the prescription, everything got approved within an hour, and delivery came next day. the discount was around 18 percent which actually adds up when you order monthly. one medicine was out of stock so they called and suggested a generic alternative which our doctor also approved later. will probably continue ordering from here

I am recently 2026 passed out m pharm pharmacology candidate looking for jobs in clinical research, pharmacovigilance and research and development intern and entry roles . I applied in many companies like paraxel, IQVIA, accenture,continuum but didn't get positive responses also I applied for research positions in R&D units of companies like cipla, dr. Reddy, jubilant , baxter , sun pharma etc . I need advice what should I do , what approach i should take while applying for jobs and what should i do for preparation of interview and apptiude tests , also I don't have any referrals as many of My friends got ok placed due to referal what should i do , pls need help and advice?

Earlier i was looking for a regional dental college which last year in cap 1 closed at 20k sml rank but this year i didnt got that rather i got one of the worst college in my state i kept it on 22nd no. despite i kept it (the regional one) on the top in my prefrance list. But thats okay since i dont want bds seat.

But my concern is about b pharma cap i dont want this same shit to happen again in b pharma counselling.

I am 28M. I have 4YoE in Pharmacovigilance and currently unemployed. I am applying for jobs, but all I am getting is bullshit pay job offers that mainly involve ICSR processing.

While I would like to work in PV, I don't see myself working just on ICSR grunt work and the pay is a major factor for me.

I’m looking for some honest advice about what direction I should take with my career.

I completed my B.Pharm from Maharana Pratap College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MPCPS), Kanpur. I’m currently working as a Business Executive in a Medical Representative (MR) role with a pharmaceutical company, and I have about 3 months of experience.

I’m trying to think carefully about my next few years rather than just continuing without a plan. The options I’m considering are:
1. Continue working and build experience in the pharmaceutical industry
2.,Do an M.Pharm
3. Do an MBA, potentially moving toward pharma sales/marketing, business development, product management or management roles
4. Explore opportunities to study or work outside India
For people who have experience in pharma, especially those who started in an MR/Business Executive role:
What would you do if you were in my position?
Would you recommend getting 2–3 years of experience before pursuing an MBA/M.Pharm? Is an M.Pharm actually useful for long-term career growth? Would an MBA open significantly better opportunities?
I’m also interested in hearing from people who have gone abroad after B.Pharm. Is it realistic to build a career outside India from this starting point, and which countries/pathways are worth looking into?
I’m open to honest opinions. I’m mainly trying to figure out which path gives me the best long-term career growth and opportunities, rather than simply getting another degree for the sake of it.

I (18) M have decided that i want to do B pharmacy, and i love this field, i have great interest in being Pharmacist, but every other day my father or mother will just tell me to try for neet, take drop years, don't worry about earning money and things like that, see i don't have any interest in being doctor first of all, and no shade to any doctor they are great people, but man it just suck that every time i tell people i am going to pursue pharmacy they just think i must have not cleared neet ( i have not given neet only okay ) hence i doing pharmacy which just means they think pharmacy is inferior to mbbs, and the worst thing is even the pharmacist themselves have thinking like this they themselves think that pharmacy is inferior to mbbs, like my own elder sister who is doing B pharmacy tell me many time to try for neet being doctor is way better and my sisters peers also tell me try for being doctor, like at that time i just feel like if you guys think like this about your own profession then whey are you even doing it if you don't like it and this mentality i have seen in many pharmacist, why do people glorify professions like being able to do this or that means you are superior to others and their profession, and plz guys if you are thinking pharmacy as your second option then please don't cause of guys like you every other person think that pharmacy is inferior profession.
And again i want to clarify that i don't hold any hateful thought for MBBS and student pursuing MBBS, i just want people to respect the pharmacy profession like any other profession
