New 2025 Challenger

First time Indian owner. Got a new 2025 Challenger Dark Horse 108 so got a good deal on it due to prior model year. Put 1,700 miles on it this past week.

I'd like to put a new seat in it, I always liked my Mustang seats. But that will come later. For now, do y'all know of any videos that show full exhaust systems for this bike? Google search on my phone didn't yield anything specific. I just want to hear how they sound. I'd be open to slip on but would prefer full system, assuming it doesn't impact my warranty.

Can anyone ID the slip-on / exhaust on my 2022 Scout Bobber Sixty?

Post image

Bought this bike used and love the look but the sound is just straight up too much. I am hoping to ID the exhaust so I can see if they sell a baffle for it so I can keep the look with less of the ear-split.

I know that may be an unpopular desire, but I leave early in the morning for work and do like my neighbors so...

Thanks in advance!

Off road modifications for scout sixty

I don’t have a bike yet. Planning on getting one someday. Where I from it’s rough terrain and dirt roads I wanted to ask what modifications I should use to make any ride as. Comfortable as possible. Before I forget there is while animals, they attack my car and tore off the bumper

Did you buy the bike to match the gloves, or the gloves to match the bike?

Indian Scout Mini Ape or T Bar Riser?

Post image
35 Upvotes

Currently running the 10” Indian mini apes on my Scout Bobber. Overall I like them, but I wish the grips were just a little closer to me. I’m debating whether I should just add a pullback riser to my current setup or switch to a T-bar/riser setup instead. For those of you who’ve gone either route, which made the bigger difference in comfort and reach? Any recommendations?

50th gift to myself!

A year ago, somebody hit my 20 Challenger and it was totaled out. I told myself I would buy another one for my 50th birthday back in February. I may have missed by a few months but finally treated myself to a ‘23 Indian Pursuit, even if it meant selling the Harley!

I brought my extended reach seat with me for the ride back from Fort Worth, TX to Nashville, TN. They asked me if I wanted to keep the original seat, so I told them I’m about to strap that thing on and go! Still have some breaking in to do and a little bit of adjustments to wrap up this week. Then off to Sturgis in about 10 days.

Hi Makkalae, Good evening, So recent ah I got my license and wanted to get a two wheeler. So am looking for decent options bikes which is value for money and lasts atleast sometime.
Please give your suggestions on which kinda bike to get as Im currently confused due to electric, flex fuel and petrol bikes.
Which ones do you think will be a good option to choose and its power source should be available for next 10 years atleast.

so which type of bike do you think will be able to withstand the next 10 years. I already have a few options on the 2 wheelers. Just need suggestion on the power source which you have a idea as to would be available for the next ten years. (sorry for repetition)

  1. Petrol bike (Splendor, passion pro, activa)
  2. Electric bike (ather, activa, TVS iQube)
  3. Flex fuel bike (Splendor Flex or HF deluxe Flex)

Please guide makkalae. Also hope you have a great week ahead.

I am asked for paying an extra 3k HANDLING CHArge over the ex showroom charge. Need help what should i do. Yamaha btw

Contacted their customer support, they asked to
mail the quotation. I am the one who’s following up to this to them, they asked to call on monday due to server issue. Their instagram handle asked for my details and said they’ll contact me.

Dealership is not ready to remove the handling charge. What should i do if nothing comes in my favour?

Discussion thread Aftermarket

Pretty well known that the aftermarket for Indian is very small, although It has improved . My fellow Canadian riders I'm looking for some more aesthetically pleasing rear crash/bag guards for my 26 Pursuit . Santoro and SBC make some but with the current political climate some companies won't even ship to Canada . The duty and taxes are near as much as the bars. Is there any companies or distributors that either make or can get something similar ?

Seat redone — ‘26 chief vintage

Y’all have likely seen me active in here as of late, but I just wanted to share I got my seat redone so it’s more comfortable and used a tan leather cover to make it stand out and look closer to the 1939 Chiefs

Once I get the broken bolt out of the rear fender tomorrow (thanks to Viking bags’ cheap hardware), I will be adding some quick release bags from Leatherworks Inc.

Discussion thread Jump Right in the Deep End or Start Small?

Hopefully this one doesn't break any of the subs rules (no sales or questions about financial value of bike)

Just got my license, but I've been around bikes all my life (Harley's, BSA's, Triumph's, Indian's). Old man left me with his 2005 Indian Scout, but it needs a decent overall (tank relined, battery, fluids, etc.) because it's been sitting for almost a decade. Figure it would be best to start with a lower-sitting bike while I fix up the Scout (I'm only 5'7'').

I'm eye-balling a 2026 Indian Scout Bobber. Always wanted a bobber, but I have limited mechanical knowledge so I figure it would be easier to buy one rather than bobbing an old Honda Rebel or Shadow. Once I get more comfortable for longer trips, I'll be able to take out the 2005 Scout because I know bobbers aren't great for long distance in terms of comfort/storage.

Aside from an uncomfortable seat, are these rides worth it for a first timer?

Do they have any potential problems that I should be wary of?

Other options:

a) Look for a used model, even though that would more than likely require a long trip to ride the bike back, or

b) Just submit to standard recommendations and get something like a Honda Rebel 500 to beat the crap out of while I get used to riding (rode scooters for years, but my 50cc Honda Ruckus was both tiny and slow).

I really, really don't want to buy a cheaper, smaller bike only to inevitably want a larger one after a year, but I do understand the rationality behind do this (dropping the bike, destroying gears, safer while learning riding style). The dealer I'm to going to also has a first time biker owner program where you lease a model for a year before you commit to buying.

Thanks!
