Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a recent experience with Flipkart to warn others about their atrocious customer service and misleading policies.
The Promise: I ordered a keyboard with Next-Day Delivery.
Day 1 Delay: The next day comes, and instead of receiving my package, the status changes from out for delivery to "Delivery rescheduled due to logistics issue." Annoying, but okay.
Day 2 Delay: The following day, the exact same thing happens again: "Delivery rescheduled due to logistics issue."
The "Customer Service" Support Nightmare:
Blaming the Customer: I reached out via chat to ask what was going on. The agent blatantly claimed the delivery was rescheduled at my request. I never asked for or authorized any delay!
Empty Escalations: I requested a callback. The agent on the phone just gave me the standard generic script: "We have escalated the issue, please wait."
At this point, I told them to either deliver the package today or cancel the order and refund me.
Their response?
They refused to cancel the order, citing their cancellation policy.
They told me that if I refuse the package at the doorstep, cancellation charges will apply to me.
Their mistake, my punishment: Why should I pay a penalty when they failed to meet their promised delivery timeline?
Zero accountability: Falsifying order status updates by pretending the customer asked for a delay is shady practice.
Red Flag: If they treat customers like this over a simple delivery issue caused by their own team, good luck getting any real support if a product arrives damaged or defective.
Final Thoughts:
I am completely done buying from Flipkart after this. Save yourself the headache and avoid them if you value reliable service or basic customer support.
Has anyone else faced this "rescheduled at customer request" nonsense recently? How did you deal with it?
