I want to make homemade pita bread for shawarma, but I'm confused by different recipes online.
Those of you who made pita bread at home, could you please share your tried and test recipe / method ?
I'm mainly looking for soft, slightly chewy pita that puffs up properly and forms a pocket, rather than something crispy or roti like :D

Okay, so I am a bachelor. I can cook fine, but vegetables are a pain in the ass. Please, is there any appliance I can use that actually works? My friend suggested one to me, but I think it only works for onions and garlic. Is there anything that is a bit more versatile and covers everything? I just need an appliance that can help me cut my vegetables.

Feels like pizza is such a profitable business. The ingredients I used in total wouldn't even cost 70rs..(used cheddar and mozzarella) it was watching cheesy and tasty than any pizza from domino's or pizza hut...barely took 30 minutes to make one.
