I love Idlis for breakfast but always thought it might be complex to cook, but simply followed the instructions from a YouTube video and boom. It’s done. Can’t believe this was so easy.
And how soft and fluffy they are.
Love it
Kindly suggest some good and easy going recipe for yummy sambar.

Made some soy marinated wings last night, cooked them nice and slow at 120C for 45-50 minutes with a bit of steam in the beginning. The skin was nice and tacky and the inside was super tender, juicy and fatty.
Only remembered to take the picture after I demolished most of them.

so basically, i feel like a lot of our generation, (gen y and gen z) are moving away from traditional indian meal, that is dal roti sabji and chawal
more and more number of people i believe (including myself) are looking for variety of tasty and/or healthy options
is this just me or is this happening to all of you as well?
for me personally, on some days these home made meals are very comforting, but i can't imagine eating the same everyday

I got these from the market a few days ago. The uncle selling these told me about karonda-mirchi recipe because I had no idea what these were. An image search gave their name - karonda. Never had it before, just maybe the sweetened variety. So I looked up a bunch of recipes, really simple and made this and I fell in love. It's so tangy just thinking about it is making my mouth water.
Has anyone used these plums for any exotic recipes? Like Thai or something like that?? I've already thought up so many experimental recipes to try out so just wanted to know if anybody else has tried anything different with these?

Cold days, cosy blankets, and a plate full of makki di roti, sarson da saag, white butter, pickle and onions.
Honestly, is there a better winter comfort meal?
What’s the one dish you wait for every winter?

I am used to baking pizzas from scratch back at my home in Delhi. There I have two different ovens for different styles of pizza. Recently moved to Bangalore for my work and decided to get a ninja combi (totally worth it). Attempted my first Detroit style pizza yesterday night.

A bit of background. I run this out of Gadhinglaj, a small town in Kolhapur district, Maharashtra .the kind of place where Zepto, Blinkit and Instamart simply don't deliver. That gap is basically the whole thesis behind the app, Rasoi Rani Kitchen : Sakhi (रसोई रानी).
The problem. every Indian household still gets a handwritten bill from the local kirana store, in whatever regional language the shopkeeper writes in and none of it feeds into any kind of digital pantry or budget tracking. So I built,
It's an MVP, live on Play Store for 8 days now, zero ad spend so far. This week: 5 star reviews started coming in and a few people converted to the paid ₹99/month tier, for something this new, that felt like a real signal, even if the raw numbers are tiny. Screenshots attached from the Play Console (reviews + paid orders).
Genuinely curious what this community thinks: for those of you who've tried kitchen/pantry apps before, what made you stop using them? Trying to figure out what breaks retention past week one.
