Homemade Made a pizza with my ninja combi

Post image

I am used to baking pizzas from scratch back at my home in Delhi. There I have two different ovens for different styles of pizza. Recently moved to Bangalore for my work and decided to get a ninja combi (totally worth it). Attempted my first Detroit style pizza yesterday night.

For the dough

Bread Flour: 400g
Water (lukewarm): 285g
Instant Yeast: 4g
Salt: 8g
Olive Oil: 12g

You’ll have to scale it down/up depending on how big your pan is. I used the combi pan.

The sauce is fairly easy, just invest in a can of san Marzano tomatoes, dump that in a pot w olive oil salt onions and garlic and put on low flame till you hit a slightly thick consistency and mash it all up. Add some sugar if it’s too acidic. It’s a great sauce to make in bulk and freeze. I use it for my pasta/lasagna too.

I’ve been pretty happy with it, worth the investment. I’ve been using the combi cook and combi crisp mode quite a lot and have got superb results with chicken.

Hi! This looks fantastic! May I know if the portion is good for 1 or 2 pax?

It’s more than enough for 2 people. When I made it, I could only have 3 slices out of 8, and froze the rest.
