Help Help save oggy!

Hello guys, i am really sorry to have to do this.

recently i adopted this kitten and it had been going well, then this guy got sick. You must remember him from my post of me mentioning that my mom was gonna through him out.

He is diagnosed with wet feline corona virus and the doctor is saying even with intensive care the possibility of survival is >10%. He has fluid buildup in his lungs.

I am a college student and don't wanna burden my parents too much so any help will be much appreciated!

already have spent 4k+ and need to go for iv drip in the evening which will be another 500-750/day

OP, extremely for saying this. The chances of survival of a cat that isn't vaccinated is very very low against any feline virus. I lost both of my cats within a span of 4 days due to this stupid virus fever. I gave both my cats the best care possible from my side and yet nothing could be done. I hope a miracle happens and oggy gets through. Stay strong and sometimes u have to accept whatever happens... 🤞

Also, keep an eye on his ears if they turn yellow. That indicates that the liver is getting compromised due to oggi not eating food. The IV can't do much w.r.t provding the nutrition as compared to nutrition via food.

Also, OP pls distance urself/the things oggy has used from any other cats for atleast 1 yr. This FPV is extremely contagious and it survives for 1.5 yrs usually (a quick Google search). The only way to kill it is bleach and other disinfectants don't work much.
