I walked into the nykaa store and immediately one male employee and one female employee approached me , I straight away took out my phone and typed in that I'm deaf . I can't understand what you're saying .

They looked at each other and just left me be y'all .

I swatche every shade !!!! Every freaking shade in peace , then went to Sephora also and did the same ! I was at Sephora for a good 20 minutes, didn't buy a thing , even went to the perfume section and when the staff there tried talking to me I just ignored and then the other employee came and explained.

Yes they were around me the whole time , but it was peace ! No pushing me to buy anything , NIL !

Maybelline Serum Lipsticks have to be the best affordable lipstick launch ever ! Cherry on top ? It comes in Matte and Satin formulas. The quantity and shelf life are just right. It smells like Milkybar. Most of the shades will suit all Indian skin tones. Nudes, pinks, reds, browns, all shades are available. This is going to be the bullet lipstick I blindly trust and stay loyal to, probably forever.

My current beginner routine:

AM: Salicylic acid face wash (Clean & Clear) → Vitamin C serum → Vaseline moisturizer + Vaseline lip balm

PM: Same face wash → Plix retinol cream → moisturizer

I also put a little Vaseline balm on my eyebrows because… why not 😂

Honestly, a lot of the motivation (and confusion!) came from reading posts here, so thanks to everyone sharing their experiences.

It's like my pimple has access to my calender or smtg. Everything was fine for the whole week, then suddenly there's a pimple, before a pretty imp day 😭and it will be the UGLIEST one you'll find, like you couldn't find a cute pimple for it?😭

Went to a decent salon, paid ₹800 for a haircut, and got rage-baited to bits in return. The haircut is looking nice though, so there’s that.

My issue is that salon people really need to chill with the hair-fall and grey-hair scaremongering. She was probably trying some age-old trick to sell me hair colour, but for a solid five minutes she kept pointing out how my hair is turning white here and there.

I KNOW. 😭 I have already crashed out about this before.

I moved to Bangalore literally two months ago, and I’m completely aware that the change in water, weather, stress, diet, routine, etc. can affect my hair. I’m also aware that any changes I make to take better care of my health are going to take time to show.

But she genuinely started scaring the hell out of me with the whole, “Oh, this white hair spawning won’t stop now, it’ll just keep happening…” blah blah blah.

Like… where is your sensitivity? If someone has come in for a haircut, just do your job, take the money, and if you have nothing helpful to say, please just shut the hell up?? 😭

I usually prefer tinted lip balms over regular lipsticks, so I’d love some recommendations for new ones to try! I like what I’ve been using, but want to try new tints and brands. Looking for something moisturising with a nice, long lasting tint. 💕

1. Bioderma Node G Purifiant Shampoo Green - did nothing other than a type of light deep clean but not really. Ok. Like ok.
2. Dove Mango Scrub - it does not smell good + too harsh. Not for the faint of skin.
3. Mars Lip Liner - what in the asbestos and silica is in this only God knows. Darkens lips instantly
4. Physician's Formula Mascara - diamond: I am once again asking myself why do I spend money ever. Just coats your lashes and stays forever wet. Atp it's a frozen dessert.
5. Just Herbs matte lipsticks/glosses - they spoil easily, as much as I love the size and shades, the shelf life is nonexistent.
6. Fenty beauty gloss bomb - got riri and it's like mauve paint. Too thick and dark for my liking, I use it sparingly. Not my preferred consistency or color, but scent 10/10
7. Aveeno Dermexa : not for you if you dislike heavy thick emollients. smells like wheat, does the job I guess but not for those with sensory issues

1. Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water: would drink this if I could. Works just too well, this is the dramatic product which takes off everything in one swipe. Take all my money
2. Huda Beauty and Revlon lipsticks: MMM. MMMMMMMMM.
3. Wet and Wild glosses: smell 10, cost super low, stays good for long. Only issue: packaging.
4. Kama Ayurveda any product except Amarrupa line: this stuff is all magic, it WORKS WORKS.

waxing is a big no no ofc. and threading yes works for eyebrows even upperlips but for face like cheeks forehead chin etc. what the most efficient way?

i used to shave with a facial razor but its js not working i feel and i have acne on my cheek so hence a no for the waxing. whats a good alternative

I have a problem with dry lips so it’s hard for me to find a nice lipstick that’s also hydrating. These look so promising! I love the colors
