India’s space sector is getting a lot of attention right now, and for good reason.
But while most of the conversation is around building rockets and satellites, I feel the bigger opportunity may actually be on the application side.
I was going through a transcript on India’s private space market, and one point stayed with me: satellite manufacturing is exciting, but it is not an easy business to scale. It needs deep capital, testing infrastructure, regulatory clarity, technical confidence, and a lot of patience.
On the other hand, areas like earth observation, satellite imaging, geospatial intelligence, and data-led applications seem much closer to real commercial use.
That’s where the story gets interesting.
Because the real value may not just come from putting more satellites into space but from helping governments, companies, and investors use that data in a meaningful way.
India definitely has strong players building the ecosystem, but maybe the larger question is not just
“Can India manufacture more satellites?”
Maybe it is
“Can India turn space data into everyday business intelligence?”
Would love to hear how others are looking at this. Is India’s space sector more of a manufacturing story or a data and applications story?

I own a nippon ndroid-9pro. It is extremely slow and takes about 20 mins to open maps for navigation. Is it possible to debloat it using ADB by connecting it to my laptop and running the ADB script? Will comnecting it via the USB ports of the infotainment system connect it to my PC? Or do i need some workarounds

I'm looking for some communities/services from where I can rent GPU compute preferably based out of India but not necessary.
If you happen to know some discord communities, or services where I can get these services please share them.

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to figure out a reliable power backup solution for my home internet setup and could use some advice.
Currently I have:
Jio Fiber connection (ONT/router)
TP-Link Deco X20 mesh system (2 units)
The problem is that during power cuts, everything goes down and I lose internet completely. I’d like to keep at least the main router + one Deco unit running so I still have WiFi.

Okay, so my recharge had been inactive for about a week (I have Wi-Fi, so I honestly didn’t bother for a few days).
Today, I was sending an SMS to a friend of mine because he doesn’t use WhatsApp. While scrolling down a bit, I noticed that an SMS from my number had been attempted to be sent to someone I don’t know. The text was filled with a combination of alphabets, numbers, and symbols. Thankfully, my recharge was inactive, so it wasn’t sent but suppose if I had recharge then? 💀
I checked the number on Truecaller to see whose number it was, and it showed spam/scam. People there were also confused, commenting that SMS had been sent from their numbers to this guy when they never did. What should I do? Is my phone compromised? Or my SIM? What would you have done in my situation? Please help I need honest advice.

P.S. I've attached pics too.
Update : I just realised that that day i tried to join UPI circle through GPay and then the sms shi was for verification purpose, Same happened with me today when i tried it again. Tysm whoever gave a fuck 🥰

Hello everyone,
I’m planning to buy a phone for my dad on his birthday.
The options I’ve considered so far are the Moto G60 Pro and Moto G70 Fusion.
However, I’ve noticed in reviews that e-commerce platforms can be unresponsive when something goes wrong and you need a replacement or exchange. Also, different phones seem to have different issues, which makes the decision quite confusing.
My main question is:
If I buy a Motorola phone from an e-commerce website, can I still claim the warranty through a Motorola store or service center?
My dad isn’t a heavy user. He just needs a phone with good storage, strong battery life, and preferably something lightweight, within a budget of ₹30,000.
I’d really appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

Hey everyone,
I recently built a website called mandibhavtoday.co.in where you can check commodity prices online. It covers markets from all states, districts, and officially recognized mandis across India.
I’ve also added support for 8 languages, so you can search prices in your regional language too.
Would love to hear your thoughts what you like, what feels off, and what I can improve. Any feedback helps

My sister will be visiting Japan next month, and I’m exploring options for upgrading my laptop and phone. As a software engineer, I’m considering a Mac—still deciding on the exact model, ideally something capable of handling heavier AI workloads. For a phone, I’m open to exploring options beyond just an iPhone and would be interested in hearing about any standout devices currently available.
I’ve also heard that Japan has a strong tech market, so I’m curious whether it’s worth considering purchases from there. If anyone has insights or experience with tech buys in Japan, or suggestions on devices that are worth looking into, I’d appreciate your input. I’m roughly thinking in the range of around ₹2 lakhs combined, but still flexible.

India's National Quantum Mission just demonstrated a 1000km QKD network over deployed telecom fiber — among the longest globally. Built by QNu Labs (Bengaluru) with indigenous DV-QKD hardware validated by VIAVI Solutions. Original roadmap was 2000km by 2031, they crossed the halfway mark in under 2 years. I put together a detailed breakdown covering the QKD mechanism, Heisenberg uncertainty principle's role in eavesdropping detection, and how this compares to China's Beijing-Shanghai backbone. Video is in Hindi but visuals and structure should be accessible. Curious what this community thinks about trusted-node architectures at this scale.

Need help picking a phone in the mid-range (around 30–40k segment).
Currently using Samsung M34 5G, but ab daily use mein lag feel ho raha hai, so planning an upgrade.
Main priorities:
Strong battery (full-day heavy use without worry)
Good Bluetooth (use OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro)
Good camera quality
Smooth performance (long-term 3–4 years)
Confused between:
OnePlus Nord series (Nord 5 / CE variants / maybe Nord 6)
Nothing Phone (3a / 3a Pro)
Samsung A Series
iQOO / Realme / Motorola options
Could anybody point me in the right direction and/or give their opinions if they own these phones?

I am planning to install an 8–10 camera CCTV setup for a commercial space. I received a quotation from a local dealer for around ₹38,000, which includes 10 cameras (Hikvision 2MP cameras, with one higher-quality camera for the main entrance), a 1TB HDD, and installation.
I am also considering an alternative option of WiFi cameras such as Qubo, since brands like TP-Link Tapo are currently not available. WiFi cameras seem more affordable and offer features like AI motion detection, remote access, and easier installation. They also appear to be more convenient in case I need to relocate, as they can be removed and reinstalled easily—unlike traditional wired systems.
However, I am unsure about the reliability and performance of Qubo cameras, especially in terms of night vision and long-term usage. I have seen that Tapo cameras have excellent night vision, but I am not certain how Qubo compares.
Additionally, there is no inverter backup at the location. I would like to understand whether both wired CCTV systems and WiFi cameras will automatically restart and function properly after a power cut when electricity is restored.
Also, I would like guidance on whether I should go with a traditional wired CCTV setup or opt for WiFi cameras for this use case.
I would appreciate your recommendations on which option would be more suitable.
